imo "Hulkamania" died at King of the Ring when Yokozuna pinned Hogan with his own atomic leg drop. For me, as a kid, that was absolutely shocking, and one of the greatest and most important moments ever for me as a fan. Like I said, death of Hulkamania. No matter what they say or what happened afterward, imo that marked the end. I agree totally except for the "as a kid" part. I was an adult and it still shocked me.

yeah, even though he had some help in that match, hogan had never looked so badly beaten. i was kind of excited that year when hogan came back. later when he went to wcw it was just over for me.

An argument can be made that Vader was a bigger draw under his own name than the other two but his run with Vince was a disappointment. Vader himself actually basically said to me he does not consider his time in the WWE as highly as his time in other places. Earlier this year at Wrestle Reunion 6, I ate breakfast with Vader and he told me none of his favorite matches occurred when he was in the WWE. Instead, Vader told me he greatly preferred his matches in Japan which is not surprising IMO. Vader also spoke highly of wrestling Sting in WCW too. but (unlike Superstar Billy Graham who that weekend during the Los Angeles territory reunion in the theater announced out loud to everyone in the room his view that Vince ruined wrestling- I was not too surprised to hear Superstar Graham say that since Superstar Graham recently sold his Hall of Fame ring and has made other public recent negative comments about the WWE) Vader didn't really say anything bad about the WWE and I think he is probably a good candidate to get inducted sometime in the future

I could see Vader in the HOF at some point especially if they decide to put out a DVD of some sort that would feature him heavily.
Yokozuna is definitely worthy entirely for smashing Hulkamania....was so thrilled when I heard about it back in 93. I was so anti-Hogan by that point.
