There have been a lot of "cult" wrestlers in GWF history. Guys who weren't designed to be Main Event headliners, or even designed to be super popular characters but despite the path they were put on by Tom, got over huge with the GWF audience.
Who is your favorite and/or most successful (could be success via popularity or with titles...vague) cult wrestler in GWF history? I listed some obvious ones above. Guys who seem to have gained strong, cult followings of fans over the years. I'm sure I'm missing a lot of great names.
THIS.....................................................is a tough one, fans!

JESTER no doubt...... Followed closely by STEEL FREAK (my son Matthew's all time favorite) who dominated my fed for a year with Matt guiding him to the GWF title and holding it against all comers for what seemed like forever. Fun times for sure.

Had to vote for Justice, as in my fed (currently up to the beginning of 2103), he holds the record for winning the tag titles with 4 different tag partners (Galactic Punisher, Lance At-Las, Dreadnaught, and U.S. Patriot) and recently won the IP title. Not designed for greatness, but has more than enough fight to make him a winner most of the time.

My favorite is Mad Jester, followed closely by Justice. I remember having a fantastic and fun Mad Jester vs Galactic Punisher feud. It was so fun to write for Mad Jester with an antagonist like the Punisher.

A lot of great characters in this poll. In terms of the more recent sets, an unlikely cult star for me has been Scimitar. He may not have a finisher, but when it comes to entertaining the masses, this master of the blade is super charismatic. Whether in skits backstage or live in the ring, GWF fans mark out at his sword swallowing and dagger throwing feats. Quick with one liners and born with a serious gift for gab, he's absolute gold on the mic. When he goes ballistic with the Scimitar Chest Chops, fans chant along with each and every thunderous blow. Never a singles star, but with six defensive tags, he has won quite a bit of gold with multiple partners.

Vanity got my vote. As much as I tried to get gold around his waist over the years, his in-ring performance never reinforced the big talk. Yet, despite a lack in wrestling ability, the "Beautiful One" always had his arms wrapped around several hotties. The manner in which Vanity treated his ladies quickly made him a perenial stepping stone for up-and-coming superstars. The fans were sure to embrace a young hero who could take out the GWF's classic "womanizer." In my fed, Vanity had his own "Beauty Parlour" segment and his interactions with The Creeper and Mutant made for great comedy. All of these things served well in keeping the former Space Cropper in the picture, so to speak. Of course, his role opposite DragonMaster in the announcer's booth just added to his legacy.

Justice. I liked his Justice character, but it was as DARK Justice he'd be a legendary champion in my fed.

For me its Plethador, but I'll always have a soft spot for The Creeper as well.

Death Knight for me. I am sure it has to do with my immense liking of the fantasy genre.
If i had to pick from the list, i would have gone with Plethador...just really like that guy!
