Thanks Crue and Kamala for the comments. Orton is on an fantastic run so lets see who he will meet in the semi-finals....
Mil Mascaras (3) v. Nick Bockwinkel (6) w/Bobby Heenan
This one was going to be a classic. The fans are on the Brain from the outset. Mascaras moves with great speed keeping Bockwinkel on the defensive but Bockwinkel is able to catch Mascaras on the top of the corner and tosses him to the mat. Bockwinkel goes up to the top himself but Mascaras recovers and tosses him to the mat. Bockwinkel was not a multiple time World Champion for nothing and the action begins to go back and forth. Mascaras hits an impressive full nelson suplex and then covers Bockwinkel for 1 (R10/P3). Mascaras climbs the corner but again Bockwinkel is able to toss him off the top to the mat. Bockwinkel goes for the win with a BOCKWINKEL SLEEPER but Mascaras escapes (R8/P3). Mascaras grabs the ropes to escape a FIGURE FOUR LEGLOCK (R4/P3) but Bockwinkel drags Mascaras back to the middle of the ring and applies the hold again. This time Mascaras is able to roll Bockwinkel (R7/P5) to break free. Bockwinkel plants Mascaras with a piledriver and is clearly frustrated when he cannot get the pin (R9/P4). Bockwinkel then takes a page out of Mascaras’ book and connect with a deathjump cross body block. 1, 2, 3 (R3/P5) and Bockwinkel is onto the semi-finals.
The semi-finals are set and will get underway on Monday.

Andre and Bockwinkel would be a great final. Orton being seeded 55 and making it all the way to the final four is a pretty huge upset, but I don't think he'll make it all the way.

Thanks for reading MT....
Andre the Giant (1) v. Terry Gordy (12)
The fans are on their feet to meet the Giant as he comes to the ring and steps over the ropes. Gordy is the first person in the tournament to be actually able move the Giant around the ring and Andre tries to slow things down with a bear hug. Gordy punches free (R10/P2). Andre maintains control and then scores with a sitdown splash that squashes Gordy into the mat. The action goes to the floor and a series of head butts by the Giant nearly leads to Gordy being counted out of the ring. Andre comes off the top ropes with a deathjump elbow to the head that rocks the crowd. A head butt and Gordy’s eyes roll back in his head before Andre simply bodyslams Gordy in the middle of the ring for the pin (R5/P5).

Nick Bockwinkel (3) w/Bobby Heenan v. Cowboy Bob Orton (55)
Two classic heels battled in the next semi-final for the right to face one of the popular wrestlers in history in the finals. Things are very evenly matched but Bockwinkel gains the first edge blocking a backdrop with a pilediver and then choking Orton on the ropes for a 1 count (R9/P3). Orton is able to turn things around dragging Bockwinkel to the floor and then whipping him into the ring post. Bockwinkel is busted open. Back inside, SUPERPLEX. 1, 2, kick out (R7/P5). It is all Orton as a bloody Bockwinkel struggles to get something going. Bockwinkel is able to duck a clothesline and takes over the action including a stiff elbow to the chin after sending his opponent into the ropes. FIGURE FOUR LEGLOCK but Orton rolls out (R8/P5). Bockwinkel applied the hold again but Orton is hangs in and rolls Bockwinkel a second time (R8/P6). Bockwinkel punishes Orton with a back suplex sandwiched between to piledrivers but Orton is somehow able to shake the ropes as Bockwinkel mounts the top buckle and Bockwinkel crashes to the mat in a heap. Things break down as the action flows in and out of the ring. Orton eats the steel and is busted open. Bockwinkel with a deathjump smash that sets up a BOCKWINKEL SLEEPER. The fans are chanting “Ace, Ace, Ace!” Orton smashes Bockwinkel back first into the buckles to break the hold (R11/P8). Orton is able to drag Bockwinkel outside and sends him into the post shoulder first. Orton tries to end it with a SUPERPLEX but Bockwinkel rolls the shoulder at 1 (R11/P6). Orton sends Bockwinkel into the buckles but Bockwinkel counters Orton’s charge with an elbow to the chest. Bockwinkel tosses Orton to the floor and both men are bloody and exhausted. Orton crawls back into the ring and Bockwinkel applies a BOCKWINKEL SLEEPER. Orton staggers and falls dazed into the ropes breaking the hold (R10/P9). Bockwinkel is obviously frustrated and simply shoves a semi-conscious Orton to the floor with his boot. Heenan is screaming at Bockwinkel to finish Orton and Bockwinkel comes outside to do just that but Orton is game and gets the best of the brawl. In slow motion Orton mounts the corner and leaps onto Bockwinkel in the middle of the ring but Bockwinkel counters with a boot to the face! The fans are roaring. Bockwinkel chokes Orton on the ropes and then applies another FIGURE FOURLOCK. Orton has nothing left in the tank Bockwinkel is onto the finals. (R8/P9). The fans are on their feet in appreciation for the match of the tournament.
The finals are set. Andre The Giant v. Nick Bockwinkel!

Wow, what a match and an example of why this game is so great. Some bouts can end on a few dice rolls and others can be epic like this one. Looking forward to the finals and may the best man win. I am a huge fan of both Andre and Bockwinkel so picking a winner is hard for me

I just wanted to thank everyone for following along and a special thank you to those who provided some feedback. Hope everyone enjoyed the action as much as I did. Now it is time for the finals….
Andre the Giant (1) v. Nick Bockwinkel (3) w/Bobby Heenan These two battled to a one hour draw back in the day that was positively received by fans and critics alike now they battled for LOW supremacy. Bockwinkel goes into the ropes early and is able to stun Andre with a leg block on the rebound. A series of kick to the ribs gives Bockwinkel the advantage but Andre grabs Bockwinkel in a bear hug. Bockwinkel escapes (R12/P3). Andre takes the match to the oustide and scores with a body slam at ringside then greets Heenan with a head butt that sprawls the Brian onto the arena floor. Andre goes to the floor one too many times and Bockwinkel gains the upper hand. Back in the ring a piledriver rocks the fans and Andre rolls to the floor. Bockwinkel comes outside but Andre gains the upper hand. Andre controls the action in the ring but cannot get Bockwinkel in a pinning position. Bockwinkel is able to avoid an elbow drop and goes after Andre’s legs with a figure four leglock (ch). Andre once again bails to the floor. Bockwinkel follows the Giant out and then trade blows around the ring. Andre tosses Bockwinkel back into the ring as Heenan shakes out the cob webs. Andre then tosses Bockwinkel to the floor and runs his head into the ringside rails. Bockwinkel is busted open and the referee warns the Giant. Andre mounts the corner with a bloody Bockwinkel dazed in the ring. Heenan is yelling at ringside and Giant is momentarily distracted. It is all Bockwinkel needs as he falls into the ropes causing the Giant to fall from the top rope to the mat twisting his leg/knee in the process. The fans are reeling. Andre is in obvious pain. Heenan is screaming “the knee, the knee!” Bockwinkel acts quickly and applies a FIGURE FOUR LEGLOCK. Andre cannot reach the ropes despite his size and submits (R2/P2) (Snake eyes!). Nick Bockwinkel wins the 64 man tournament!

Awesome Semi-Finals and Final bookerbill! When Bockwinkel rolled 12 to kick out of that first pin attempt I had a feeling it was going to be his night. Great stuff!
