I saw the movie today and it's a 10 out of 10 flick. I really enjoyed the whole cast and Mark Ruffalo as Dr.Bruce Banner is far better then Eric Bana or Edward Norton. The full cast delivered and a sequel will be a must, this film is a must see...

Agreed....... Best Marvel movie so far and that's awesome since this is from my favorite team book since the 70's. The post credits trailer of Thanos was AWESOME!

I also really enjoyed the Avengers. I don't know if i'd give it a perfect 10 out of 10, but it's damn close. I was expecting a decent Summer popcorn flick but boy did Marvel give us probably the best Marvel based comic book film ever. Its all about fun and I enjoyed every minute of it. I expect the Dark Knight Rises to be the comic book film of the year, but The Avengers will likely come in a close second. I'm also looking forward to the new Judge Dredd film "Dredd". It has been sort of under the radar, but I expect that film to be similar to the Hellboy films in that its not a big time "everybody knows about it film", but a solid and really well done comic book film nonetheless.
Anyway, The Avengers was amazing and much, much better than expected. I'm actually considering seeing it again. And for all the comic book fans out there, the post credits scene will likely make you drool.

I rarely see movies these days, but had to hit Avengers opening night. Fantastic movie that had great pacing and storytelling. Have top say my favorite iof the Marvel movies, but I have not seen them all.
The film did leave me with an urge for shwarma though...

I loved it. My wife and I had other commitments that day or we would've gone back to see it again.

I think it's crazy that The Avengers is so good. i didn't expect it to be as good as it was and I don't think many other people did as well. It's pretty rare that a film matches, or even exceeds expectations. The Avengers, with all the hype, could of bombed badly, instead it's a big hit.
I want to see it again myself.

I expected it to be really good, I thought it had the potential to be awesome. It was miles ahead of what I ever thought it could be.

I went Thursday night and even I thought it was awesome. For me one of my favorite parts was after Hulk and Thor took out those things and were just standing there, then out of nowhere Hulk smashes Thor, I LOLed so hard. I will def be seeing this again.

No, cman. The funniest part was when Loki was standing face to face with the Hulk telling him "I am a god. I can't be intimida....", and then the Hulk grabs him by the horns on his helmet and starts slamming him around the top floor of the Stark Tower like a rag doll until he's knocked pretty much unconcious and then walks away and goes "puny god." I saw the movie for the first time last night with my nephew, but since he had to be at a middle school down the street from his high school to play in with his high school band at an ice cream social, I couldn't stay for the end credits, so I didn't get to see the teaser for the next Avengers movie.
