That really shouldn't need a definition. Were they produced and sold by Filsinger Games? If so, that's a legal copy. Were originals bought from Filsinger Games, then some guy put them on his scanner (photocopier, or any other device of reproduction) and made an extra set to sell you? If so: illegal copies. ANY copy of the set not originally produced and sold by Filsinger Games is an illegal copy.

No money was exchanged. The guy did me a favor when my original cards were thrown in the garbage by mistake while I was in the hospital. In fact my entire collection was tossed! I set out to buy all of them again from filsinger games but fever was unavailable by then.

It doesn't matter if money was exchanged or not. Copying a set for someone else is a copyright violation. I can't copy my 2128 set and give it to my brother for free, that is a copyright violation.

Well I don't plan on doing it again, anyway. I plan on purchasing the set when it becomes available again! Filsinger Games has put out a great product that I believe in and enjoy. My intent was never to cheat them. Lesson learned!
