Thanks. I also just added a seriously revamped and overhauled Doink The Clown (Matt Borne). I fixed the drawing a little, changed up several moves, altered the defense slightly, and gave him an "imposter Doink" interference mechanic. www.angelfire.com/wrestling3/legendarystars/doink.html

I just added Tom Jenkins with completely revamped moveset (thanks entirely to "pikemojo" and his research and website full of historical articles). I also added an updated Gorgeous Jimmy Garvin to the website. Garvin features a slightly modified defense, and a few new mechanics to get Precious involved in the match. If there's any real call for it (or maybe even if there isn't), I'm going to do a version with Sunshine as the valet.
I also corrected one error I found in my recently updated Doink (Matt Borne) card.

I updated one and added another of my favorite 80s gimmicks: Giant Machine has been updated, and Super Machine has been added to the "raging 80s" segment of the site. These are drawn in a more cartoon style than the others because that's how I saw them when I was a kid. This silly, could be awesome gimmick was captivating. Now I understand what they were and why they were in the WWF. However, when I was a kid I could not imagine wanting a WWF action figure more than a Super Machine figure. PS: "Giant Crush" is my name for Giant Machine's sit down splash. "Super Giant Big Chop" or "Giant Super Big Chop" (depending on the card) is the name for the big overhand chop to the chest. Will there ever be a "Big Giant Super Chop" on a card? Hard to tell, as Big Machine was to me like the George Harrison of this super group; he served his purpose but was just kind of there. Okay, maybe like the Peter Tork, but that's as far as I'll go (these references are even way before my time, so don't worry if you don't get them, kids). www.angelfire.com/wrestling3/legendarystars/giantmachine.pdfwww.angelfire.com/wrestling3/legendarystars/supermachine.pdf

Always loved your Norton, my only change would be to add a powerbomb to his card somehow. He seemed to use that move alot as a finisher. I actually think I had told you that way back when you originally posted him on these boards. In my head he would have a choose your finisher like Terry Gordy's card if he were to ever see an official release. Really love the Tom Jenkins as well.

He finished with the shoulder breaker there because Nash had the market cornered on the power bomb. It takes, like, a minute to do revisions and alternate cards once I have a card laid out though, so watch out for an alternate version soon. Well, seeing as how 90-percent of the moves are based on your research I would hope so! Of course, it's my defense and move placement, so I guess I could've screwed those up...but I'm glad I didn't.

Well I did like your placement and stats. I did a quick comparison to Gotch & Hack and I think he is about right where he should be.

Does anybody remember what caused Andre the Giant to get suspended from the WWF in order for him to come back under the mask as the Giant Machine? I only remember seeing a vignette a long time ago in which Mean Gene was interviewing the "Machines", but that was the only time I ever saw them in their gimmick because a few weeks later, Andre was reinstated, and I believe a few weeks after that was when the WWF debuted Bill "Big Machine" Eadie as Axe and Barry Darsow as Smash of Demolition., which leads me to my second question 2. Did the "Machines" ever wrestle a match? Like I said, I only saw the one vignette, but I never saw the two wrestle any tag matches because Andre was reinstated and "Big Machine" went on to become Demolition Axe.

Yes, they had quite a few matches in Japan and then the United States. If you look on youtube you'll find nearly every WWF TV match they did, but they also wrestled the house shows in various combinations of singles, tags, and six-man matches. The WWF supported them to the point that they actually released a "Machines" t-shirt soon after their debut. Well, it would have to be soon because the thing only lasted a couple of months. Trust me, I was disappointed it ended as soon as it did.
Also, Ax was Super Machine. Blackjack Mulligan was Big Machine. Super Machine and Giant Machine were the core team; Big Machine was just added to the mix in the WWF so Andre could wrestle as little as possible with the bad back.
