How about letting the board get to know who us promoters are.
My name is Mark, which is good since I am a mark for wrestling. I live in East Texas. I am 46 and a school teacher. I keep my wrestling results on myspace for Legends (http://profile.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=user.viewprofile&friendid=64093026). I like wrestlers from the late sixties to the 90's. I think I would like more of today's wrestlers but WWE dominations don't leave much on tv. I tend to like TNA more, but neither really has the spark the old territory system had. My favorites are Brusier Brody, Wild Bull Curry, The Blackjacks, The Freebirds, and the von Erich. I believe that women should have more cards in the LOW and am striving to add them to my collection. I also play GWF, and will get to CPC/POW and AcE in the near future. If you have myspace, feel free to contact me or if you want do it here or tpfwpromo@aol.com

Name is Jeff Manning, from College Corner, OH, 26 years old, and currently a lapping operator while taking classes at Miami Univeristy (OH) Been playing CotG since 1996, but put it away for a bit around 2001, picked it back up in 2006 and now am current in GWF and aCe. I love the aspect of MMA for POW, but have had trouble finding time to play it and while I have most every legends card, the lack of progression of a character causes the set to lose its appeal to me. I've been to 2 straight Galacticon's, as well as Motor City Comicon in 2000 and hosted the first OhioCon last year. Went to my first wrestling show when I was 5 and from the ages of 5-13 my dad took me to a show for my birthday. I have always loved wrestling, my current favorites are Booker T, Chris Hero, Cryme Tyme, Mr. Ken Kennedy, Claudio Castoglini, Jack Evans, and Ruckus. Anything else you want to know you can hit up my myspace or my AOL IM, both have been posted on this board.

Ken West aka The Ace from Oklahoma City, OK... 34 years old and work at a blood bank.
Started playing COTG in 1996 with a couple breaks here and there. I'm not caught up with the current GWF timeline as I prefer the older sets (War Games era, Fed Wars era), however aCe and POW have my attention. I also love the Legends sets . I havent played in a couple months due to spending time with friends playing Call of Duty 4 and Battlefield: Bad Company and playing Fire Pro Returns when I have the spare time.
Ive been a pro wrestling fan since 1982 when I began watching Bill Watt's Mid South promotion. Havent been watching WWE or TNA for the past several months but I do attend local indy shows here regularly.

My name is Ricky, I'll be 17 tomorrow, I've been a wrestling fan since 1993. (First stuff I can remember, really) Have been playing LOW since last summer, but I've known about COTG for a while because of ads in PWI. My current favorites are The Undertaker, Shawn Michaels, John Cena, Randy Orton, Chris Hero, Naomichi Marufuji, and Takeshi Morishima. Add Ted DiBiase, Steve Williams, Stan Hansen, Bruiser Brody, Terry Gordy, Hulk Hogan, and Ultimate Warrior to that list, and that's pretty much my favorite wrestlers ever. I've never attended Galacticon, but I have attended four wrestling shows in my lifetime. Two WWF/E House Shows (one in 1995, and one on March 1st, 2008), as well as King of the Ring 2002, and a show at the Sydney County Fairgrounds, which is where I got Junkyard Dog and Jim Duggan's autographs. Still have them to this day, though the JYD autograph has faded off the back of the LJN figure.

my name is Ray DeGarmo. I am 34 years old. I live in Northern Minnesota in a small town called Warroad (6 miles from the Canadian Border). I haven't been playing the game very long, about 4-5 years I guess. I've been an active member since I've started and really enjoy the company of my mates here. I was to my first ever GalactiCon! Woot. I play all the current stuff, GWF, aCe, POW, and the "Z". Also love the Kronos angle so I use all the favorites of the past as well. I really got hooked on wrestling after watch WM 3 and the Ricky The Dragon Steamboat vs. Macho Man Randy Savage for the I-C Title really captured my attention and I've always been a fan since! I don't play LOW though, odd. I agree with JMello's statement, that the lack of progression of a character is probably why I don't!? I don't have MySpace or anything like that, but all my contact info is in my profile here. Feel free to drop me a PM, an IM or email anytime!

My name is Carl, and I am 26 yrs old. I live in Nova Scotia Canada. I am currently working as a Security Officer while I work my way through the RCMP application process (Im about half done!). I started playing COTG in 1997. I stopped playing for a while in 2000, but picked it back up again last year. I have been a wrestling fan since I was 8. I rarely watch it these days as I think it is garbage. Most of the COTG feds posted here are more intertaing and enjoyable for me than the WWE or TNA. Some of my fav wrestlers include: Soctt "Razor Ramon" Hall and Kurt Angle. I don't use facebook or myspace or any of that stuff. My contact info is in my profile here if you want to get ahold of me.

I'm Todd, 32, from Illinois. I Became a big wrestling fan after a "WWF Saturday Night's Main Event" when Hulk Hogan beat Cowboy Bob Orton. When I saw the ultimate hero kick butt in the ring, get the crowd crazy, and pose after the match, I was hooked. Of course, it helped that Mr. T was in his corner being that the "A-Team" was one of my favorite shows as a kid. A memory that stands out in my mind took place a few years later when my dad let me call the WWF Hotline after WrestleMania III. Mean Gene ran down the list of results and when he said that Hogan pinned Andre the Giant, I did a cartwheel in the living room and broke one of my mom's glass candle holders I first encountered Champions of the Galaxy at a friend's house. Naturally, I loved it! Over time, my friend lost some of the cards and we stopped playing. A few years down the road, I , like many other promoters , saw an add in Pro Wrestling Illustrated and my mom allowed me to order all the sets available (I think it was up to WarGames 2093 at the time). Needless to say, I have enjoyed the game ever since and have just recently expanded into Legends of Wrestling. I enjoy watching old WWF, NWA, and AWA matches, but don't follow the WWE or TNA very closely. I guess I like the old, corny Good vs. Evil concept with cheesy lines and 80's-style gimmicks and I try to run my GWF along these lines. I have never been to a GalactiCon, but hope to make the trek someday ;D

I'm 36 years old, born, bred and live in England. Married to an American who knows nothing about wrestling!
I was obviously brought up loving the British wrestling and remember seeing the British Bulldogs as young kids starting in the game. I first saw American wrestling when I was 16. It was Wrestlemania 4, and I was amazed at how much better it was than our's! I immediately collected a lot of WWF videos after that and, to this day, watch them. WCW started being broadcast here in 1989, so I got into that too.
I eventually made it to a pay-per-view event - Summerslam 1992 - but only because that was in England!
I got into the Legends Of Wrestling card game in 2003, when I flew to the USA to meet my wife's family. I was flicking through one of the kid's comics and saw the ad. Fate really, because if I hadn't met my wife, I'd have missed out on LOW!
