Got mine in the mail today and everything looks awesome. Amazing delivery time on my order and have to give all the props to the Filsinger crew for that. Love the story, love the new characters...another awesome release. Also, the new color Classics look amazing as well, and definitely liking the Chikara release and the new card for Colt Cabana. Now looking forward to the other releases coming later this year.

Wow! As I mentioned on the GEKIDO cards thread, I got my stuff in the mailbox today upon getting back from seeing "The Amazing Spider Man."
My plan is to play out my last show of Season One in my CHIKARA fed while I watch RAW tonight and then spend the rest of July finishing 2127 and moving into 2128 until the NWA Hollywood set gets released at the end of this month at Galactical.
I can't wait to use these new cards- especially End of Days!

Since I still had to finish up IT8 and close out 2127 when I got my cards, I ran MONOLITH vs. END OF DAYS just for fun, and when it was over I was wishing it had been in my fed. Both guys put 5 tokens on each other, MONOLITH survived UNLIMITED POWER (+5), and came back to win with CATASTROPHE.
The dice have a funny way of breaking in even the most unbeatable looking guys quite quickly it seems. Of course EOD saved his best for GCON and took the Cup, managed by the Galactiking later on that weekend.

My set made it safely across the Atlantic and was in the post today, much to my surprise and excitement!
I'm currently in 2126 but will shift into the Black Death Era soon.
End Of Days, despite looking like a human chocolate Easter egg, looks a killer! A finisher on L1O? Wow!
Harbinger turning face after being binned by Black Death was a surprise.
Disappointed the Master Race are now enemies.
The Guardian - to those who have his card, do you play him? I don't think I can resist not using him!
Glad the Infinity Challenge is over and Abroz & Dialectas are still involved.
The set looks so good!

2128 sounds AWESOME! Cannot wait to get it here..then again with all that is going on with the move, I have not had much time to throw the dice.
Lesson learned though, next time priority shipping...gonna be worth it to make sure my order gets 1/2 way across the Pacific in what used to take normal shipping time.
Come on Wally and Mutant, get it here tomorrow, PLEASE!

(Actually, it got here two days ago, but it took one day for the general Delivery office to send it back to the regular post office and then another day for them to get it to me...) I am SOOOOoooooo looking forward to the reading I have ahead of me! |
