Project Wrestler List

If anybody has the time to spare and would like to assist me I would appreciate it. What I am trying to do is rate each wrestler based on the prominence of the promotions they primarily wrestled in during their careers.

I am planning on running two feds, a "big time national fed" ala WWE/WCW and a "smaller fed" ala ROH or TNA. I would like the ratings to basically show the wrestlers "chances" of being signed to one of the two feds. So if a wrestler primarily worked in the bigger leagues, such as WWF, NWA, AWA, Mid-South, WCCW or AAA, they would recieve an "A" rating. If they are/were primarily wrestlers who competed in ECW, ROH, TNA or any Indy fed, they would get a "C". For wrestlers who split their time, they would be designated a "B" rating.

So basically, Wrestlers with A ratings have a better chance of being signed to the BIG FED. While wrestlers with C ratings have a much better chance at being signed to the SMALLER FED. Wrestlers with a rating of "B" have an equal shot at being signed by either. (NOTE: These ratings should not necessarily reflect the ability of a wrestler, as understandably there are many wrestlers in smaller feds who are IMO "better" than some (alot) of wrestlers who have competed in the bigger feds).

I started off with the obvious, and anyone who would like to help can just copy and paste the list and add their own ratings. Thanks in advance and here's the list.

Just a suggestion, but maybe use Rahl's Ratings and/or the Standardized Ability Ratings to help you in determining where to place the guys.

Both, while have obvious differences, actually rate the guys pretty dang good and are comparable since many rank similar

Noted Trav and thank you. The thing is however, someone like S.D. Jones for example has a low rating, but was a mainstay in WWF. So based on what I am trying to do, I think he would probably be given an "A" rating, despite his "Jobber" status.

It's kinda hard to determine wrestlers "splitting their time", such as Harley Race, who had little to no impact while in the WWF, therefore, I can't in good conscience assign him a "B", so using that example, here's what I came up with:

*-In my opinion, it's almost impossible to "rate" these wrestlers because they actually were "wrestlers", not "entertainers. Also, wikipedia is an invaluable research tool for the Legends of Wrestling. Hope this helps & welcome to the show...

What do you mean by "Standardized Ability Ratings?" I don't think I have ever seen this.
