I think I can field this question, I would and have count the guess as a point. (A similar situation popped up during one of the PPVS when I think it was a list of people to interfere or show up during a match and someone typed in "someone else" as opposed to the listed names, and got the points for being correct.) I am not sure if it the same thing or not though because in the example you cited you are leaving out some basic specifics (such as the PPV, the match, and the wrestler(s).  ) I do remember someone on the GBITG getting the points for picking Edge (who was not previously advertised for the show) to win the Royal Rumble 2010. But he specifically picked Edge and not just "someone else." Well the most recent example when looking back (although this isn't the one that initially came to mind when I first responded to the post) is the tuxedo match, someone did not guess a color (which was the bonus question) but did in fact say that ADR face would be on the trunks. So for that they got a point. Have to look back at the other Pickems to find the other example.... |
