Ring of Victory: Battlefield episode 174: Rikidozan & Bryan Danielson vs. Delirious & UltraMantis Black: Danielson wore Mantis down, locking on the Cattle Mutiliation twice before tagging in Rikidozan. Rikidozan hit the hiplock followed by the Thunderous Chops for the win. Brent Albright vs. Tyler Black: Albright's heart wasn't in the match and Black took advantage, wearing Albright down and getting the win with the Turnbuckle Powerbomb. Bill Apter interviewed Curt Hennig and the Perfect Trio. Hennig said it was time for the Perfect Trio to rise to the top of Ring of Victory and they'd start next week! Mike Quackenbush vs. Terry Gordy: Gordy steamrolled Quackenbush, hitting the Oriental Spike for a near fall and getting the win with the Piledriver. Nigel McGuinness vs. Claudio Castagnoli: Claudio took the fight to McGuinness, scoring near falls with a European Uppercut from the second rope and two Springboard European Uppercuts. Nigel made a comeback, rolling through a crossbody for a near fall and locking on the London Dungeon. Claudio made it to the ropes and Nigel nearly took his head off with a Jawbreaker Lariat. Nigel locked on the London Dungeon a second time but Claudio made to the ropes. Claudio made a comeback and hit the Ricola Bomb for the win. Paul London vs. Larry Zbyszko: London scored a near fall right off the bat with the Dropsault. Zbyszko tried to keep London grounded and focus on mat wrestling but he couldn't contain London. London got the win with the 450 Splash. Bruiser Brody & Necro Butcher vs. Drake Younger & Dustin Lee: Brody and Butcher decimated Dustin Lee. Once Butcher tagged in Brody, it was all over. Brody hit a clothesline and a piledriver for near falls before putting Lee away with the Jumping Knee Drop. - Brian Kendrick vs. Ricky Landell

Ring of Victory: Battlefield episode 175: Doring & Roadkill vs. the Young Bucks: The Young Bucks dominated Roadkill with their quick tags but couldn't follow up. The Amish big man finally made a comeback and hit the buggy bang for a near fall on Nick. Roadkill tagged in Doring and Doring hit the Danaconda for the win. Brian Kendrick vs. Ricky Landell: After a rough start, Kendrick hit the Sliced Bread #2 for the win. Bryan Danielson vs. Curt Hennig: Danielson and Hennig fought a back and forth match, shades of their ROV Grand Championship clashes of old. Hennig got a near fall with the rolling neck snap but Danielson battled back and scored near falls with the diving headbutt and the Cattle Mutilation before getting the win with the Small package. Claudio Castagnoli vs. Tyler Black: Castagnoli fought hard but it was Black's night to shine. Black scored near falls with two superkicks and a Phoenix Splash before hitting a second Phoenix Splash for the win. Bruiser Brody vs. Dustin Lee: Brody destroyed Lee, winning with the jumping knee drop in near record time. Miracle Violence Connection vs. Thunder & Lighting - ROV Tag Team championship!: Quackenbush took the fight to Doctor Death at the opening bell and scored near falls with the tilt a whirl backbreaker and a swanton bomb. Quack tagged in Liger and Liger went on the offensive. Williams made the hot tag to Gordy and the momentum dramatically shifted. Gordy hit a brutal powerbomb but Quack made the save. Gordy hit a second powerbomb and again Quackenbush made the save. Liger briefly made a comeback, scoring a near fall with the small package, but it wasn't enough. Finally, Gordy hit a running lariat for a near fall and followed it up with a piledriver for the win. Chris Hero vs. Rikidozan - ROV Grand Championship: Hero took control at the opening bell and scored near falls with the small package, the cravate buster, and the Hero Stomp. Rikidozan seemed impervious to pain. Hero went to the top for a crossbody and Rikidozan stepped out of the way, letting Hero crash to the mat. Rikidozan hit a hiplock for a near fall. Hero got to his feet, only to be brutally pummeled by Rikidozan until he was nearly unconscious. Rikidozan hit a second Hiplock for the win. Wow. Rikidozan! Anyway, I'll say Danielson over Black. I thought Hero had him for a while there. I'm hoping for Danielson but Danielson and Black both have a history of not doing what I want them to.

Ring of Victory: Battlefield episode 176: Paul London & Brian Kendrick vs. LarryLand: London and Kendrick destroyed LarryLand. London hit the 450 and the Assisted Shooting Star Press on Zbyszko. Kendrick hit Sliced Bread #2 and knocked Landell off the apron. London went to the top and hit Zbyszko with a second 450 for the win. Claudio Castagnoli vs. J.D. Michaels: Claudio destroyed Michaels, winning with the Ricola Bomb. Nigel McGuinness vs. Erick Stevens: Stevens showed remarkable toughness but McGuinness was relentless. McGuinness locked on the London Dungeon four times but Stevens wouldn't tap. Nigel hit a short arm lariat for the win. Bryan Danielson vs. Tyler Black - #1 contender match: Danielson attacked Black like a shark, taking Black down and locking on the Cattle Mutilation for a near fall. Danielson scored near falls with the Diving Headbutt and the Triangle Choke but Black was too close to the ropes. Finally, Danielson locked on the Cattle Mutilation a second time for the win. Necro Butcher vs. Dustin Lee: Lee dominated Butcher for most of the match, scoring near falls with two Diehard Trilogies and the Hard Drive. Butcher made a comeback and hit two Tiger Drivers but Lee wouldn't stay down. Butcher hit the Asiatic Spike for a near fall. Butcher gave Lee a brutal beatdown in the corner until he could no longer continue and the referee stopped the match and awarded it to Necro Butcher. Miracle Violence Connection vs. Danny Doring & Roadkill - ROV Tag Team titles: Gordy & Williams destroyed Doring & Roadkill. After overwhelming Doring with their brutal power attack, Doc and Gordy focused on Roadkill. Doc hit the Backdrop Driver and tagged in Gordy. Ring of Victory: Battlefield episode 177: Young Bucks vs. Ultramantis Black & Crossbones: The Young Bucks isolated Ultramantis and wore him down before getting the win with More Bang For Your Buck. Brodie Lee vs. Chuck Taylor: Taylor hit a moonsault for a near fall, surprising the Big Rig. Lee made a comeback and hit a Big Boot for a near fall. Taylor struggled to his feet, only to be nearly decapitated by a second Big Boot. Lee covered Taylor for the three count. The ROV hotline reports that the AWF has been buying up outstanding shares of ROV stock. If this continues, the AWF will own a controlling interest in Ring of Victory. Paul London vs. Jushin Liger: London and Liger tore the house down with their high flying match. Liger hit a Liger Dive and the Fisherman Buster for near falls. London came back and hit two 450 Splashes but Liger wouldn't stay down. London scored a near fall with the Oklahoma Sideroll but Liger escaped and rolled out to the floor. Liger regained control on the floor and hit a top rope huracanrana for a near fall. Liger drilled London with the brainbuster but London kicked out. Liger hit a second Liger Dive for the win. Chris Hero vs. Tyler Black: Hero and Black fought a fast-paced, back and forth match. Black got the win with the Phoenix Splash. Bruiser Brody & Necro Butcher vs. Dustin Lee & Drake Younger: Brody and Butcher decimated Lee & Younger. Butcher scored near falls on Lee with the Tiger Driver and the Asiatic Spike and tagged in Brody. Brody nearly knocked Lee unconscious with the clothesline and hit the Jumping Knee Drop for the win. After the match, Brody got on the mic and challenged the Miracle Violence Connection to a match for the ROV Tag Team titles! Rikidozan vs. Bryan Danielson - ROV Grand Championship: The two men shook hands at the opening bell and the match was on! Within minutes, both men had welts on their chests from the brutal strikes. Danielson managed to take Rikidozan to the mat and lock on the Cattle Mutilation but Rikidozan made it to the ropes. Rikidozan made a comeback and hit the scoop slam for a near fall. Danielson made it to his feet, only to be knocked senseless with the Thunderous Chops. Rikidozan locked on the Boston Crab and Danielson tapped out. After the match, Rikidozan and Danielson were shaking hands when the Perfect Trio stormed the ring. The show went off the air with Rikidozan locked in the backbreaker by Masked Superstar II while Hennig & Rose double teamed Danielson. next week: - London & Kendrick vs. Thunder & Lightning
