The ROV hotline reports that the AWF has been buying up outstanding shares of ROV stock. If this continues, the AWF will own a controlling interest in Ring of Victory. - hmm, very interesting! I almost sent you a PM containing that hotline message after I wrote it. LOL! I really like the whole hotline idea. Things are getting really interesting here. Also, loved seeing the Young Bucks going over. They are one of my favorite teams to watch and use in the game.

Ring of Victory: Battlefield episode 178: London & Kendrick vs. Thunder & Lightning: Liger got a near fall on London with the Shouda and tagged in Quackenbush. London made a comeback and tagged in Kendrick. Kendrick hit Sliced Bread #2 but Liger made the save. Kendrick and London hit the Assisted Shooting Star Press but again Liger made the save. London tagged Kendrick back in and the fight spilled out of the ring. Kendrick hit Sliced Bread #2 using the guardrail and Quackenbush was counted out. Adam Pearce vs. Belgian Brawler: Pearce got the win in short order with the Jumping Piledriver. Nigel McGuinness vs. Brodie Lee: Lee hit the Big Boot but it wasn't enough to stop McGuinness. Nigel made a comeback and hit the Jawbreaker Lariat before getting the win via the Tower of London. Erick Stevens vs. Masked Superstar II: Superstar dominated Stevens, scoring near falls with a clothesline and a falling elbow before getting the submission victory via the Backbreaker. Necro Butcher vs. Steve Williams: Williams decimated Butcher, hitting three brutal Backdrop Drivers before getting the win via the Oklahoma Stampede. Rikidozan & Bryan Danielson vs. Curt Hennig & Buddy Rose: Rose scored near falls off the bat on Danielson with a pair of brainbusters and tagged in Hennig. Hennig hit the HennigPlex for a near fall. Danielson made a comeback and locked on the Cattle Mutilation but Hennig got to the ropes. Danielson tagged in Rikidozan and Rikidozan went on the rampage, hitting two hiplocks on Hennig only to have Rose break up the pins. Rikidozan hit Hennig with Thunderous Chops for the win. After the match, Masked Superstar II hit the ring and he and Rikidozan brawled into the crowd as the show went off the air. next week: - Necro Butcher vs. Terry Gordy

Ring of Victory: Battlefield episode 179: The Hangmen vs. The Young Bucks: The two teams fought a furious back and forth match. Albright looked good in one of his few appearances since losing the ROV Grand Championship. The Young Bucks got the win after a More Bang for Your Buck on Pearce. Bryan Danielson vs. Buddy Rose: Danielson attacked Rose like a shark. Danielson nearly took Rose's head off with a Yakuza kick before getting the win via the Crossface Chickenwing. Nigel McGuinness vs. Chris Hero: Nigel continued his winning ways, wearing down Chris Hero with the London Dungeon and the Jawbreaker Lariat before getting the submission victory via the London Dungeon. Necro Butcher vs. Terry Gordy: Gordy steamrolled Necro Butcher, getting the win with a powerbomb. After the match, Gordy got on the mic and challenged Bruiser Brody, saying his partner didn't give the Miracle Violence Connection a challenge or even a warmup. Brian Kendrick vs. Jushin Liger: Liger destroyed Kendrick, hitting the brainbuster for a near fall, then hitting the Fisherman buster for the win. Rikidozan vs. Masked Superstar II - Ring of Victory Grand Championship: Superstar II looked to be on his way to winning the gold, battering Rikidozan with brutal strikes and hitting the Double Arm Suplex for a near fall. Rikidozan absorbed a brutal amount of punishment and hit the Thunderous chops out of nowhere for a near fall. Rikidozan hit a forearm hammer and Superstar was nearly out on his feet. Ring of Victory: Battlefield episode 180: Paul London & Brian Kendrick vs. Thunder & Lightning: Liger started strong and had London in trouble until he tagged in Quackenbush. London quickly made a comeback and hit the Assisted Shooting Star Press for a near fall. London tagged in Kendrick and Kendrick hit Sliced Bread #2 for the win. There was a commotion in the stands after the match. The camera panned to the source and showed the AWF's Ted DiBiase and Virgl taking seats in the third row. DiBiase handed the usher a wad of bills, then had Virgil take half of them back. DiBiase counted the bills and put them back into his pocket before sitting to watch the next match. The announcers reminded the audience that DiBiase had a brief run as Rick Rude's ally, only to be released as a cost-cutting measure months ago. Eddie Kingston vs. Chuck Taylor: Kingston decimated Taylor, who was distracted by Ted DiBiase at ringside. Kingston scored a near fall with the Lariat before getting the win via the Backdrop Driver. Kingston looked toward Ted DiBiase after the match but DiBiase yawned theatrically and directed Virgil to write something on his clipboard. Claudio Castagnoi vs. Brodie Lee: Castagnoli & Lee fought a hard hitting match. Lee looked to be on his way to winning until Claudio fought back and scored near falls with the Scissors Kick and the Ricola Bomb. Ted DiBiase was on the edge of his seat, shouting encouragement to both men. Claudio got the win with the Roaring European Uppercut. After the match, Ted DiBiase rose from his seat and left the ringside area with Virgil in tow. The Hangmen vs. The Age of the Fall: These two teams tore the house down. Albright and Black fought back and forth and neither could hold the momentum. Albright tagged out and Black and Jacobs double teamed Adam Pearce. Pearce made a comeback and hit two Jumping Piledrivers on Jacobs for the win. Nigel McGuinness vs. Erick Stevens: Stevens attacked McGuinness at the opening bell and never let up. Stevens got the win with the overhead release belly to belly suplex. Bruiser Brody vs. Terry Gordy: Brody and Gordy fought a hard-hitting match. The two bulls were evenly matched and pummeled one another all over the ring. Brody put Gordy down and hit the Jumping Knee Drop for the win. Rikidozan & Bryan Danielson vs. Masked Superstar II & Buddy Rose: Rikidozan & Danielson worked over Buddy Rose, quickly rendring him a bloody mess. Danielson scored near falls with the Yakuza Kick and Cattle Mutilation but Superstar made the save. Danielson tagged in Rikidozan and Rikidozan went on the rampage, scoring near falls with the Thunderous chops, the hiplock, and the piledriver before hitting the Thunderous Chops a second time for the win. next week: - Eddie Kingston vs. Jimmy Jacobs

ROV Battlefield: Episode 181 The show opened with Ted DiBiase in the ring. DiBiase said that as of midnight the night before, the AWF owns a majority of ROV stock. The Office has sent DiBiase to Ring of Victory to evaluate it and decide whether to close it up or keep it running, and also to scout the talent. DiBiase said everyone was on probation and The Office would be deciding the fate of the entire ROV roster. The Hangmen vs. The Young Bucks: The Young Bucks used quick tags to frustrate Pearce and Albright but were no match for the power attack of the Hangmen. Albright and Pearce overpowered the smaller duo. DiBiase shouted words of encouragement to theYoung Bucks but it was no use. Albright wore Matt down with two Crowbars and Pearce got the win with a powerslam. Frank Gotch vs. Chuck Taylor: Taylor looked to be on his way to another huge upset, scoring near falls with two Enzuigiris and a moonsault. Gotch battled back and destroyed Taylor's knee, winning after three rolling knee bars. Claudio Castagnoli vs. Dustin Lee: Die Hard lived up to his name but Claudio eventually prevailed, hitting the Ricola Bomb for the win. Castagnoli exchanged looks with Ted DiBiase as he made his way to the back. Curt Hennig entered the ring and said he hasn't forgotten what DiBiase's men did to his father months ago. DiBiase laughed diabollically and said he hadn't either. Hennig tried to go through the crowd to get at Ted DiBiase but security barred his way. Eddie Kingston vs. Jimmy Jacobs: Jacobs and Kingston fought a brutal back and forth match. Kingston absorbed a freakish amount of punishment but wouldn't stay down. Jacobs locked on the End Time but Kingston made it to the ropes. Jacobs busted Kingston open with the Railroad spike and Kingston still wouldn't stay down. Finally, Jacobs was able to get the win with a crossbody from the top. After the match, Tyler Black arrived at ringside to help Jacobs double team Kingston. Brodie Lee made his way down to ringside and there was a standoff between Jacobs, Black, and their former partner, the Big Rig, until security arrived. Miracle Violence Connection vs. Bruiser Brody & Necro Butcher – Ring of Victory Tag Team titles: Brody and Gordy battled back and forth for the first few hard-hitting minutes. Gordy scored a near fall with the Bamm Bamm Slam but Brody kicked out. Brody battled back on the outside and scored a near fall with the Jumping Knee Drop before tagging in Necro Butcher. Butcher tore Gordy apart, hitting the Death Valley Driver for a near fall and using the Asiatic Spike Submission to wear Gordy down. Gordy hit a Powerbomb out of nowhere but Brody made the save. Brody tagged in Dr. Death and Doc mauled Butcher, hitting the Backdrop Driver and the Lariat, knocking Butcher senseless. Butcher made a comeback and put Williams through a table at ringside, busting him open. Butcher hit a Tiger Driver but Gordy made the save. Butcher tagged in Brody and Brody hit the Jumping Knee Drop. Gordy entered the ring and a wild brawl ensued. Brody and Butcher came out on top and Brody hit a second Jumping Knee Drop on Williams for the win. Bruiser Brody & Necro Butcher are the new ROV Tag team Champions! Rikidozan vs. Erick Stevens – ROV Grand Championship: Stevens whipped Rikidozan to the ropes. Rikidozan caught Stevens with a kick to the face and took over. Rikidozan hit the Hiplock followed by the Thunderous Chops to retain the gold. next week: - Steve Williams vs. Bruiser Brody

ROV Battlefield: Episode 182: The Young Bucks vs. The Heartbreak Express: The Express looked impressive early on, using their size and strength advantage, but the Bucks bounced back. Phil fell prey to their double team offense. After a spin kick and More Bang for your Buck, Phil was out on his feet. The Bucks got the win with a second More Bang for your Buck. After the match, Ted DiBiase, with Virgil and the Masked Superstar in tow, approached the ring. The Young Bucks looked apprehensive at first but DiBiase got on the mic and asked them if they wanted a shot at the big time and the bigger money that went with it. The Young Bucks left the ring area with DiBiase, Virgil, and Masked Superstar. Claudio Castagnoli vs. The Belgian Brawler: Castagnoli destroyed the Brawler, winning with a Scissor Kick to the face. Castagnoli looked pleased with himself. As Ted DiBiase made his way back out to his ringside seat, he patted Castagnoli on the shoulder. Curt Hennig was interviewed by Bill Apter. Hennig said the Young Bucks should be ashamed of themselves and dared DiBiase to get in the ring with him tonight. Nigel McGuinness vs. Drake Younger: Younger took control at the opening bell and battered Nigel from pillar to post. Nigel made a comeback, hitting the Jawbreaker Lariat out of nowhere. Nigel kept after Younger, wearing him down with the London Dungeon before getting the win via a second Jawbreaker Lariat. Steve Williams vs. Bruiser Brody: The two bulls battered one another with brutal strikes. Brody got the first near fall with a twisting vertical suplex. From then on, the two combatants spent more time on the floor than in the ring. Williams let his temper get the better of him and he whipped Brody into the ringpost in full view of the referee, resulting in a disqualification. A message arrived at the broadcast booth, saying tonight's main event would be Curt Hennig vs. The Masked Superstar! Eddie Kingston vs. Jimmy Jacobs – Falls Count Anywhere: Once again, Kingston's toughness frustrated Jacobs. Jacobs got a near fall with a springboard dropkick off the guardrail but couldn't keep Kingston down. Kingston fought back and hit the Yakuza Kick in the corner for a near fall and followed it up with the Sliding D. Jacobs was out on his feet and was easy prey for the Lariat. Kingston covered the nearly unconscious Jacobs for the victory. Ted DiBiase was shown shaking his head as Kingston's hand was raised. Curt Hennig vs. The Masked Superstar: Hennig and Superstar fought a phenomenal match, a given considering both are former ROV Grand Champions. Hennig knocked Superstar senseless with The Axe but Ted DiBiase jumped up on the apron before he could follow up. Superstar recovered and hit Hennig with two Spinning Neckbreakers for the win. - Buddy Rose vs. Jim Londos

ROV Battlefield: Episode 183: The Hangmen vs. Delirious & UltraMantis Black: The Hangmen started strong but Delirious clamped the Cobra Stretch on Pearce out of nowhere. Pearce had no choice but to tap. Ted DiBiase, Virgil, Masked Superstar, and Jim Londos took ringside seats. It was announced that Buddy Rose would be facing Jim Londos later in the evening. Erick Stevens vs. J.D. Michaels: Michaels dominated Stevens early on, hitting the Top Rope Elbow Drop twice for near falls, as well as a rolling fist drop. Stevens battled back and hit the Samoan Drop for a near fall. Stevens nailed Michaels with the Doctor Bomb but Michaels kicked out! Stevensfinished Michaels off with the Sarasota Screwdriver. Claudio Castagnoli vs. Arik Cannon: Castagnoli dominated Cannon, scoring near falls with three Springboard European Uppercuts before getting the win with the Ricola Bomb. Claudio nodded to Ted DiBiase as he was leaving the ring. As Claudio was walking to the back, Chris Hero walked down the aisle with mic in hand. Hero asked Claudio what he was doing and said he thought they were reforming the Kings of Wrestling. Claudio responded by decking Hero and giving him the Ricola Bomb in the aisle! Buddy Rose vs. Jim Londos: Rose started strong and got a near fall on Londos with the brainbuster. Londos battled back and scored near falls with the Crotch Lift and Slam, the Boston Crab, and the Short Arm Scissors. Londos got the win via the Airplane Spin. The Age of the Fall vs. The Roughnecks: The Age worked Kingston over but couldn't keep him down. Black scored a near fall with the Enzuigiri and tagged in Jacobs. Jacobs hit a Springboard Dropkick for a near fall and then busted Kingston open with the railroad spike but Kingston miraculously got his foot on the ropes. Jacobs locked on the End Time and Kingston tapped. Bruiser Brody vs. Steve Williams: Brody and Williams destroyed one another with brutal strikes. Williams hit three backdrop drivers but couldn't keep Brody down. Brody came back and hit the Jumping Knee Drop and the twisting vertical suplex for near falls but Williams proved to be just as stubborn. ROV Battlefield: Episode 184: The Hangmen vs. Delirious & Ultramantis: The Hangmen isolated Ultramantis and wore him down with their high impact offense. Pearce got the win after hitting two Jumping Piledrivers. Nigel McGuinness vs. J.D. Michaels: McGuinness wore down Michaels with the London Dungeon and the forearm strike before getting the win via the Jawbreaker Lariat. Claudio Castagnoli vs. Chris Hero: Claudio destroyed his former partner, getting a near fall with the Springboard European Uppercut and following it up with the Ricola Bomb. After the match, Ted DiBiase entered the ring and said The Office authorized him to make Claudio an offer to join the big time. Claudio shook DiBiase's hand and the two men went to the back. Tyler Black vs. Brodie Lee: Lee nearly took Black's head off with two Big Boots to the face but Black battled back. Black made a comeback and hit the Phoenix Splash for a near fall. Lee got to his feet, only for Black to hit the superkick for the win. Masked Superstar II vs. Jim Londos: Superstar II used his amazing power to throw Londos all over the ring area. Londos battled back and scored a near fall wtih the crotch lift and slam. Londos clamped on the Boston Crab but II made it to the ropes. Londos went for the crab a second time and once again II made it to the ropes. Londos hoisted the big man up and spun him around in the Airplane Spin to a round of boos from the ROV fans. Londos was going for a cover but dragged Superstar II to his feet and used the Airplane Spin a second time for the win. Bruiser Brody & Necro Butcher vs. The Miracle Violence Connection – ROV Tag Team titles: Brody and Butcher used quick tags and rendered Terry Gordy a bloody mess. Gordy tagged in Williams but Brody was ready. Brody scored near falls with the big boot and the running leg drop before hitting the twisting vertical suplex to retain the gold. next week: - London & Kendrick vs. The Hangmen - #1 contenders match
