Ring of Victory Battlefield Episode 45 The Naptown Dragons beat Sam Hayne & Harker Dirge by DQ after Hayne hit Lee with Hell's Flames. Arik Cannon was seen backstage trying to make peace between Claudio and Hero after last week's match in the King of Victory tournament. Things seemed to be in order as Claudio and Hero shook hands at Cannon's urging. George Hackenschmidt gave Jim Cornette a few tense moments but bounced back from a brutal assault and beat Dan Severn with a Russian Bear Hug following a surprise cross heel hook. Arik Cannon beat Timber by DQ after a brawl outside the ring. After the match, Timber brutalized Arik Cannon with his barbed wire 2X4. Cannon had to be stretchered out. Ricky Landell lost a back and forth match to Mike Quackenbush after the Quackendriver II. In the most boring Hardcore match in recent memory, Steve Corino refused to leave the ring and beat Drake Younger in the middle of the ring with a powerslam. After the match, Younger encouraged the crowd to pelt Corino with trash since he refused to get his hands dirty. As the crowd obeyed and hurled refuse at Corino, he got on the mic and promised that next week he'd give the crowd all the blood they could stand. In the main event, RoV Tag Team Champions the Kings of Wrestling lost to the James Gang after a Pump Handle Slam on Castagnoli. The James Gang are the new tag team champions. After the match, Hero and Castagnoli got into a shouting match but were restrained by officials before any blows were struck. next week: - Drake Younger and Steve Corino meet once again in a Hardcore match

Ring of Victory Battlefield Episode 46 The Dream Team beat the Kings of Wrestling via sleeper on Claudio to open the show. The KoW kept ignoring each other's tag attempts during the match. Afterwards, Hero and Claudio got into a wild brawl that ended when Hero hit the Hero's Welcome on the floor, busting Claudio open. Hero got on the mic and berated Claudio before leaving the ring area. It was announced that Arik Cannon suffered a severe concussion last week at the hands of Timber and would miss a few weeks of action. Timber squashed Savage T, winning with the Log Splitter. Frank Gotch was interviewed in the lockerroom. Gotch said he was at 100% and challenged George Hackenschmidt to face him next week! Mike Quackenbush fought the match of his career and scored a big win over Dan Severn with the Quackendriver III. Severn and Quackenbush shook hands after the match. Jim Cornette and George Hackenschmidt entered the ring. Cornette said Hackenschmidt had nothing to prove against Frank Gotch and refused to sign Hackenschmidt against him next week. Chris Hero came from the crowd and whispered something in Jim Cornette's ear. Cornette smiled and he, Hackenschmidt, and Hero left the ring together. Drake Younger beat Steve Corino in one of the bloodiest matches on record with the Drake's Landing. Both men had to be helped from the ring. Corino got on the mic and said he wanted to settle it once and for all next week in a Last Man Standing match! Younger nodded in approval. The Naptown Dragons beat Sam Hayne & Harker Dirge after a Double Dragon on Dirge in a Falls Count Anywhere match. Jim Cornette invaded the broadcast booth with Hero and Hackenschmidt in tow. Cornette said Hackenschmidt and Hero will take on Castagnoli and Gotch next week if Gotch and Castagnoli have the guts to show up! In the main event, RoV Grand Champion Strangler Lewis narrowly defeated Delirious to retain the title. The match went back and forth with multiple near falls on either man, Delirious looking the most impressive. The end finally came when Lewis smashed Delirious head against a table outside the ring, then rolled him back in and made him tap with the Strangler's Headlock. Both men received standing ovations after the match. next week: - The James Gang vs. the Naptown Dragons for the RoV Tag Team titles

Ring of Victory Battlefield Episode 47 Necro Butcher destroyed J.D. Michaels, winning with the Tiger Driver after three Asiatic Spikes to open the show. Footage was shown of Adam Pearce putting Dan Severn out of action with the piledriver months ago, hyping their match tonight. Delirious beat Larry Sweeney after two Chemical Imbalance #2's. Dan Severn beat Adam Pearce with the Wakigatame. Severn kicked out of the Jumping Piledriver en route to winning to the delight of the crowd. RoV Officials announced that the winner of tonight's Steve Corino/Drake Younger Last Man Standing match would receive a shot at Strangler Lewis and the RoV Grand Championship. RoV Tag Team champions The James Gang beat the Naptown Dragons after a Standing Leg Drop on Vortekz. After the match, the Heartbreak Express ambushed the champions. Security broke up the brawl in short order. In a brutal and bloody Last Man Standing match, Steve Corino lost to Drake Younger after a spinebuster slam. Both men had to be helped from the ring. In the main event, Frank Gotch & Claudio Castagnoli lost to George Hackenschmidt & Chris Hero after Gotch was DQed for smashing Hero with a chair. The show went off the air with all four men and Ox Baker brawling in the ring. next week: - Claudio Castagnoli vs. Ox Baker

Ring of Victory Battlefield Episode 48 The Armstrongs lost to the newly formed team of Larry Sweeney & Buddy Rose after Rose put Bullet Bob out with a Sleeper Hold to open the show. It was announced that Claudio Castagnoli and Chris Hero will meet in the ring in two weeks. Delirious beat the Belgian Brawler after two Chemical Imbalance #2s. Jim Cornette announced that George Hackenschmidt has signed an open contract for Frank Gotch to face him in two weeks. All Gotch has to do is show up. Dan Severn fought back and beat Necro Butcher with a Wakigatame. Claudio Castagnoli lost to Ox Baker following a clothesline after being distracted by Chris Hero. The heels double-teamed Claudio until Frank Gotch made the save. Frank Gotch lost in decisive fashion to Chris Hero after three Hero's Welcomes. Gotch was distracted by Ox Baker at the start of the match and never recovered momentum. In the main event, RoV Grand Champion Strangler Lewis beat Drake Younger with the Strangler's Headlock to retain the title. Younger hit Drake's Landing early on but couldn't keep Lewis down. After the match, Lewis offerend Younger his hand. Younger responded by kicking Lewis in the groin and viciously stomping him before busting him open with a light tube. The show went off the air with Lewis struggling to his feet. next week: - Frank Gotch vs. Ox Baker

Ring of Victory Battlefield Episode 49 Thunder & Lightning beat Sweeney & Rose after a Brainbuster on Rose to open the show. Drake Younger entered the ring and dared to Strangler Lewis to face him in the ring next week, in a hardcore match. Dan Severn lost to Chris Hero after a Hero Stomp. Hero took a tremendous beating from Severn to come back and get his second big win in as many weeks. A messenger from the back announced that Strangler Lewis had accepted Drake Younger's challenge! The match has been made. Frank Gotch dominated Ox Baker, winning with the Forearm uppercut. After the match, George Hackenschmidt attacked Gotch from behind, hitting him in the ribs with Jim Cornette's tennis racket! Officials broke up the melee before more damage could be done. Claudio Castagnoli lost to George Hackenschmidt after a wristlock suplex. After the match, Jim Cornette got on the mic and taunted Castagnoli and Gotch, saying Hero and Hackenschmidt would beat both of them easily next week. In the main event, RoV tag team champions The James Gang (with Konnan in their corner) beat the Heartbreak Express (with DDP) after a noggin knocker to retain the titles. Konnan did an excellent job of neuralizing DDP during the match. Afterwards, Sean challenged the champs to a tables match next week. The James Gang accepted the challenge and sneak attacked the Heartbreak Express in mid-sentence. The show went off the air with the James Gang and Konnan brawling with DDP and the Heartbreak Express. next week - final episode of the season: - Claudio Castagnoli vs. Chris Hero
