All these things skew a WWE list every time. I wish it was in "wrestling history", but with a WWE list it never will be. In the topic title: "WWE.com: Top 50 Villains In Wrestling History[/u] "

In the topic title: "WWE.com: Top 50 Villains In Wrestling History[/u] "[/quote] My point exactly. They state that it's throughout wrestling history, but their lists never are based on wrestling history. It's always skewed towards WWF history. My post was stating I was surprised people still we're arguing about WWE lists, they're never accurate. I continued to list why WWE probably had some people lower who were more deserving and then gave my opinion. Perhaps I didn't specify well enough or explain it to a degree I should have. I'm sorry if you found that contradictory in anyway, but it was purely misinterpreted.

Here is my top 10 (from people I have actually seen/hated.) These guys had legitimate heel heat from me, not “X-Pac” heat:
1. Ric Flair (Perfected the long, heel title reign) 2. Roddy Piper (How could anyone forget when he hit Snuka with that coconut?) 3. Bret Hart (I always thought he was a better heel than babyface. His run as the foreign heel in the late 90s was awesome.) 4. JBL (I hated him so much, I began to enjoy watching him get me mad.) 5. Vader (see JBL) 6. Bobby Heenan (see Vader. In my opinion, the best person ever on the mic.) 7. Ted DiBiase (How could anyone like this guy in the late 80s? He looked like he just walked off the set of the movie Wall Street.) 8. Rick Rude (His feud with Jake Roberts was a thing of beauty. How could you not hate a man who had the face of another man's wife on his crotch?) 9. Jim Cornette (Sometimes I feel like he had X-Pac heat, but I so wanted to see him get his ass kicked. I guess that what makes a great heel.) 10. Paul Heyman (See Jim Cornette. I REALLY hated him as part of the Dangerous Alliance.)
Guys that were heels, but I liked instead of hated: Randy Savage, Randy Orton, Kane, Shawn Michaels, Arn Anderson, Road Warriors, Edge and Christian, New Age Outlaws.
Guys who had “X-Pac” heat with me: X-Pac (duh), Hogan, Sid Vicious, Shane Douglas, Diamond Dallas Page, Lex Luger.

One guy missing from that list who really belongs is Larry Zybysko. I remember going to TV tapings and seeing the reaction of the fans right after Zybysko turned on Bruno Sammartino. I'm surprised that nobody jumped the guard rails to attack him

I put together separate lists for heel wrestlers and heel managers, since the roles are different. For the period of roughly 1985 - present:
Top Heel Wrestlers: 1. Ric Flair (w/ the 4 Horsemen) 2. Roddy Piper 3. Million Dollar Man 4. Jake Roberts 5. Rick Rude 6. Iron Sheik 7. Mr. Perfect 8. JBL 9. Brian Pillman 10. Yokozuna
Honorable Mention: Kevin Sullivan, Fabulous Freebirds (not always heels), Jimmy Garvin, Abdullah the Butcher, Greg Valentine
Top Heel Managers: 1. Bobby Heenan 2. Jim Cornette 3. Paul Heyman 4. Jimmy Hart 5. Sherri Martel 6. JJ Dillon 7. Lou Albano 8. Mr. Fuji 9. Woman 10. Gary Hart
Honorable Mention: Paul Jones, Johnny Valiant, Skandor Akbar, Bill Alfonzo

I'm sort of surprised that Vince isn't number one. If I was making a list, I think he would be.
Although with how these polls usually go, Edge not winning is the biggest shock.

Randy Savage at #49 is ridiculous, and he is behind Vickie Guerrero no less. This is the guy that crushed the larynx of Ricky Steamboat, put Ricky Morton through a table with a piledriver in Memphis (at a time when going through tables wasn't common), and nearly killed anyone who got too close to Elizabeth. I know it is silly to argue these lists but man that is a head scratcher. Bruiser Brody and Buddy Rogers are noticebly absent from the list as well.
