I just read that NWA Hollywood no longer exists! They have ended their affiliation with NWA as of last night. They are now known as Championship Wrestling from Hollywood. I am dumbfounded. How will this affect the champions? How does this affect the NWA? How does this affect the game and its future with FG?

They might change the name of a second set of cards.
From what I've read, there's been some major fight between NWA and Hollywood. The sad news is that means Pearce won't be showing up anymore most likely.
However, I expect the fed (the most successful of the NWA franchises anyways) to continue just fine.

I read this on CWF Hollywood's facebook page: "Our Promoter David Marquez is no longer a Member of the NWA and both Pearce and Douglas are very much welcome in Hollywood. Pearce and Marquez have a very long and strong relationship."

I wouldn't get too bent out of shape about this. Being an NWA territory/franchise does not have meaning anymore, and hasn't for a LONG time. Hollywood, and the others for that matter, should be just fine. The current name NWA only means something to whatever fools own it at the current moment. Wait a year or two, someone else will buy it.

There's been a great deal of speculation that regardless of who wins the 7 Levels of Hate series (Pearce or Cabana), they won't hold on to the title for long. A lot of people believe that Tharpe wants to put the title on a bigger name.
I'm curious to see if this makes the International TV title the main title in Hollywood, or do they create their own world title?

My guess is that they would bring back the Heritage Championship that was used in the pre-Hollywood days. As for Hollywood, the NWA needed them more than Hollywood needed the NWA. Honestly, I think you could see Adam Pearce jump ship and work for Hollywood instead of the NWA. What little buzz the NWA has currently is because of the Hollywood tv show getting some national attention. This is just like the TNA situation all over again. The NWA gets something good going for itself and then shoots itself in the foot and has to start over again. I think Hollywood will be completely fine here.

If NWA is shooting itself in the foot, then I am hoping that Hollywood becomes the next big gun. It worked for TNA why not Hollywood? Sent via Proboards Mobile App

www.nwaonfire.com/NWA On Fire (Maine) just announced a TV deal with ION that starts October 12th. Friday Nights at 11pm I'm guessing this could be the new home base of the NWA World Champion The deal with ION will put them in more homes than ROH

I think what I read the other day is the tv is local/regional only. Still good though.
