Only issue for those of you watching it, is that you will probably be seeing myself, Jim and Todd throughout the whole show on the hardcam. Posts like this make me wish Havoc never deleted his account.

Posts like this make me wish Havoc never deleted his account. To paraphrase Booker T..."Tell me he didn't just say that?!?" I've heard nothing but great things about the KOT this year (and last), and may end up either getting the DVD's or VOD very soon. Here's hoping they do an iPPV again soon...I enjoyed C-Rex last time.

Just finished watching KOT and all I can say is WOW! Chikara never ceases to amaze me, and that final match was most definitely no exception. The storytelling was phenominal, all 6 guys busted their asses and the atmosphere was electric. Not to mention the "Basic Instinct" shot of Maria following the superkick as she lay on the entrance ramp. The only things that annoyed me, yet didn't take away from the show were 1: a few of the dumbass fans who were doing their best to be a focal point of the event, and 2: Steve Weiner (I know I know, not hating on him as a person) when on commentary was just horrendous and distracting. Other than those 2 really insignificant things, KOT was a very enjoyable event and Chikara continues to be my favorite promotion. Also, major props go out to Smart Mark Video for that super quick turnaround! A well spent $35.97, but next year, I will do whatever it takes to be there live (so I can propose to Saturyne) ;D

First time I ever heard the "Best Show Ever" chant before a show was done. As for your nuptuals with Saturyne, let me know when because my daughter would love to be flower girl. Funny side story on the Ophidian vs. Saturyne match. Those 2 are my daughters favorites, but she was rooting for Ophidian. During intermission I got her a Saturyne mask she wanted, but when we saw Ophidian, she made me hold it as she didnt want to upset him.

Ok, went and bought the DVD's...was debating between that and streaming, but went with DVD's. Sucks because I'm anxious to watch them NOW! Ah well, it'll be worth it when they get here. Maybe I need to take a field trip next year with you guys when it comes around. I threw the idea around with Todd last night.

Through streaming I have been watching some of King of Trios each night and tonight I finished watching Night 1. I'll start watching Night 2 tomorrow.

Watched all 3 nights in 2 days after getting it yesterday. I've not seen much of Chikara until now and I must say it is awesome. I'd dare say that they do things right and are probably the best promotion out there today. We get awesome spots, real wrestling and comedy thrown in. Very much worth the money. The slo-mo by Dreamer the first time was classic...the multiple head scissors was pretty good and we get the Swamp Monster!
I may add that the Japanese teams, be it Osaka or JWP are incredible athletes...the moves they did make all other women wrestling put to shame...especially that dual backbreaker at one point...awesome.

I finally had time to finish watching the 3rd night of King of Trios. What an awesome event! If KOT was ever in the summer, I would go out of my way to see it live- even though it is on the other side of the country from me.
