Tonight I went to the local Las Vegas indy fed Future Stars of Wrestling and the Young Bucks defeated Hater Nation to win the FSW Tag Team Championship!
I had a good time, I got to talk to the Bucks both before and after the show and they said they think they are going to be booked here in Las Vegas in FSW for awhile which is really cool since as many of you know they are one of my favorite tag teams.
The next FSW show is one of FSW's biggest shows of the year which takes place at Sam's Town (inside the same room where they show all the WWE PPVs for $5) and the Bucks that night defends the FSW Tag Team Championship against Hater Nation and the Suburban Commandos in a 3 way tag match. I already got a front row seat for that show.
I am also looking forward to seeing the Young Bucks take on other local FSW tag teams such as Paul London and Brian Kendrick, the Iwi, and especially Reno Scum! Kenny King is also part of FSW which has said on their Facebook page they may be reuniting the All Night Express here in FSW by bringing in Rhett Titus at some point too.

Cool stuff. The Bucks are great, so nice for them to be appearing in a new place.

I laughed really hard reading the comments from other fans in attendance from last Sunday night on FSW's Facebook page complaining the Young Bucks were too "rude." Yeah, the Bucks are heels, so they are supposed to act like heels which that crowd really should have known as soon as the Bucks' entrance music of MMMBop started playing. But here in Las Vegas, believe it or not, much of the crowd actually thinks what happens in the ring is real.

Markdom lives. Kinda cool in a way. It is kind of cool, it makes me feel like I am back in the 1980s which was an awesome decade for wrestling.

I am going to FSW's big show this Saturday night at Sam's Town.
The Young Bucks are defending their local FSW Tag Team Championship against both the Suburban Commandos and Hater Nation in a 3 way tag elimination match.
In addition to the Young Bucks, some of the other big names who are going to be there this Saturday night include Kenny King, Paul London, Daivari, Shaun Ricker, Heather Lynn, and many others.
Looking forward to this show!

the Young Bucks unfortunately dropped the FSW Tag Team Championship tonight at Sam's Town to the Suburban Commandos.
hopefully this does not mean the Bucks won't be used anymore here in Las Vegas.
Paul London did not appear (he reportedly took a booking in Japan instead) but Willie Mack made a surprise appearance and he defeated Ray Rosas!
I did have a good time at the show tonight with my friends here in Las Vegas who also go to PWG on a a regular basis and I got to talk to the Bucks again both before and after the show. I really wish I could see their match at PWG next week against Roderick Strong and Eddie Edwards.

Are most of these shows in the Freemont area or closer to Henderson? Last time I was in Vegas I thought it would be awesome to set up a ring and run a show right under the LED ceiling at the walkway in Freemont. Heck, that place is just like a circus and I think wrestling would fit in perfectly.

Last time I was in Vegas I thought it would be awesome to set up a ring and run a show right under the LED ceiling at the walkway in Freemont. Heck, that place is just like a circus and I think wrestling would fit in perfectly. most of these FSW shows are at the FSW Arena and then every 3 months they have one of their bigger shows (like last night) at Sam's Town, both places are closer to Henderson though I do completely/100% agree with you that wrestling would fit in perfectly on Fremont Street. A couple of years ago the owner of FSW told me he had plans to do a show on Fremont Street, but I don't think that actually happened. For my game feds, Vegas Wrestling Guerrilla has had show there before and Combat Vegas Wrestling has an announced upcoming show there called Violent Fun Under the Vegas Sun. On a side note, speaking of downtown/Fremont Street, on a field trip urban renewal lesson for this class I have to take at work, yesterday morning I was in the temporary downtown office (until the new permanent office is finished being renovated at the old City Hall building) of Zappos CEO Tony Hsieh. My class had a personal tour and from the top of that building I got to see all the current vacant lots around downtown and hear about Zappos's plans to turn those lots into new businesses (i.e. restaurants, bars, an outdoor movie theater- but a walk in and not a drive in, etc.) I like Fremont Street, but it would be awesome to see the vacant areas around it revitalized too. Zappos's decision in late 2010 to move its headquarters to Las Vegas may turn out to be one of the best things to happen to this city since I moved here in 1999.
