It's now time for this week's Halloween and Nevada Day holiday special edition of Friday Night Smackdown! (note: there is no edition of Tuesday Night RAW this week since Major League Wrestling's RAW brand is instead presenting Cyber Sunday this Sunday).
Major League Wrestling (MLW) Smackdown Friday, October 31, 2008 The Major League Wrestling Arena Las Vegas, NV (First Half of the show)
In the Ring: MLW Chairman Bruno Sammartino
- Sammartino says that the results of last week's main event on Smackdown, where Frank Gotch defeated The Four Horsemen's George Hackenschmidt by DQ after the other members of the Four Horsemen interfered, will not end Gotch's pursuit of a match against MLW Champion Buddy Rogers of the Horsemen (by which Gotch first has to defeat Hackenschmidt and Johnny Valentine of the Horsemen after already defeating Larry Zbyszko) even though Gotch failed to either pin Hackenschmidt or make him submit.
- Instead, Sammartino says that there will be a rematch between Gotch and Hackenschmidt this week on Smackdown and to guarantee a clear winner this time and since today October 31 is Nevada Day (an official paid state holiday marking the day Nevada became a state back in 1864) that tonight's main event between Gotch and Hackenschmidt will be a Las Vegas street fight match!
Match #1: Antonio Inoki defeated Fritz Von Goering.
- Von Goering, who injured Antonino Rocca last week on Smackdown, managed some early offense but lost when he submitted to Inoki's OCTOPUS HOLD.
- The TV announcers mention that Rocca is expected to be on the injured list until mid November.
Match #2: Buff Bagwell defeated Don Leo Jonathan (managed by Killer Kowalski)
- One week after being tossed from the ring by DLJ's MORMON SWING following a 6 man tag team match on Smackdown, Bagwell got the victory in this match via his BUFF BLOCKBUSTER.
Backstage: Eddie Fyne (DLJ's former manager until he sold DLJ's contract to Kowalski last week on Smackdown) is seen watching and laughing at this match on a TV in the locker room area and then mentioning how, like so many stockholders are doing on Wall Street, he knows when it's time to sell a failing commodity.
- Savage-T then walks up to Fyne and tells him he (Savage-T) doesn't like his (Fyne's) arrogant attitude and challenges him (Fyne) to a match next week on Smackdown!
-Sammartino's Office: MLW Champion Buddy Rogers is complaining to Sammartino about Sammartino's decision to allow Gotch tonight another chance to defeat Hackenschmidt which could possibly allow Gotch (if he defeats Hackenschmidt and then also later defeats Johnny Valentine) a shot at Rogers' MLW Championship.
- Sammartino tells Rogers that if any member of the Four Horsemen interferes in tonight's Las Vegas street fight main event match between Gotch and Hackenschmidt then Gotch will get an automatic title shot against Rogers!
- Sammartino also tells Rogers that to prepare Rogers for Cyber Sunday in 2 days, where Rogers will be wrestling two other wrestlers (RAW's World Champion Nick Bockwinkel and EAWA's EAWA Champion The Crusher) in a triple threat match where Rogers' MLW Championship might be on the line, Rogers will also be in action tonight against two other wrestlers- Jushin Liger and Tiger Mask in a 1 on 2 handicap match!
Match #3: Steve "Dr. Death" Williams (managed by Killer Kowalski) defeated Boogie Woogie Man
- Dr. Death got the pinfall victory via a lariat.
Match #4: United States Tag Team Champions the Midnight Express (Bobby Eaton and Stan Lane, managed by Jim Cornette) defeated the New Midnight Express (Dennis Condrey and Rapping Red Bastien) in a non-title match.
- The Midnight Express won this match when Lane pinned Bastien following a ROCKET LAUNCHER.
- With their victory tonight, The Midnight Express once again deny the New Midnight Express a chance to earn a title shot against them for the United States Tag Team Championship.
Backstage: MLW Chairman Bruno Sammartino tells Mr. Canada (Billy "Red" Lyons) that, in the spirit of Halloween tonight, his match against his enemy Hacksaw Jim Duggan will now be a first blood match!
End of First Half. Second Half will be posted next and includes: Hacksaw Jim Duggan vs Mr. Canada in a first blood match, United States Champion Dan "the Beast" Severn vs Nikolai Volkoff in a non-title match, Jushin Liger and Tiger Mask vs MLW Champion Buddy Rogers in a 2 on 1 non-title handicap match, MLW Tag Team Champions the Road Warriors vs The Mongols, and the main event of Frank Gotch vs George Hackenschmidt in a Las Vegas street fight match!

Major League Wrestling (MLW) Smackdown Friday, October 31, 2008 The Major League Wrestling Arena Las Vegas, NV (Second Half of the show, First Half is posted above)
Match #5: Hacksaw Jim Duggan defeated Mr. Canada (accompanied by The Mountie) in a first blood match.
- Duggan won this Halloween themed match against his enemy Mr. Canada when he gave Mr. Canada (Billy "Red" Lyons) a FLYING SPEAR while holding his 2 X 4. As Mr. Canada's face then became covered with blood, the referee awarded the match to Duggan who climbed to the top turnbuckle and shook his 2 x 4 to chants of "USA, USA, USA" from the crowd in The Major League Wrestling Arena.
Match #6: Nikolai Volkoff (accompanied by Ivan Koloff and Nikita Breznikov) defeated United States Champion Dan "the Beast" Severn in a non-title match.
- Thanks to interference from Koloff, Volkoff won this match via his BACKBREAKER DROP. With his victory over the current champion tonight, is a United States Championship match now in the near future for Volkoff?
Match #7: MLW Champion Buddy Rogers defeated Jushin Liger and Tiger Mask in a 1 on 2 handicap match.
- Just 2 days away before his major triple threat match in the main event at Cyber Sunday against RAW's World Champion Nick Bockwinkel and EAWA's EAWA Champion The Crusher in which his MLW Championship might be on the line, Rogers looked good in this match which was also against two other opponents.
- Although the more agile Liger and Tiger Mask repeatedly kept Rogers on the defensive, Rogers managed to pull out the victory when he made Tiger Mask tap out to his FIGURE FOUR GRAPEVINE. But will Rogers still be the MLW Champion after Cyber Sunday this Sunday?
Match #8: World Tag Team Champions the Road Warriors defeated The Mongols (managed by Sir Oliver Humperdink) by DQ in a non-title match.
- Halloween today also seemed an appropriate date for the first-ever match between the Road Warriors and The Mongols as the Road Warriors made their return to Smackdown for the first time in 2 weeks since being attacked backstage by The Mongols.
- This match ended when the action spilled outside of the ring and the referee DQd The Mongols when Geeto Mongol struck Road Warrior Hawk in the throat with Humperdink's cane.

Match #9, the main event: Frank Gotch defeated George Hackenschmidt in a Las Vegas street fight match
- In this Nevada Day themed match, Gotch completely dominated most of the action. The end came when Gotch and Hackenschmidt were brawling outside of the ring where Gotch grabbed a rope from under the ring and started using it to viciously choke Hackenschmidt. Gotch then gave Hackenschmidt a rolling kneebar while outside of the ring before throwing him back into the ring where he won the match via his GOTCH TOEHOLD.
- Afterward, Rogers appeared on the ramp and told Gotch he would face much tougher competition against Johnny Valentine next week on Smackdown! Valentine, who stepped out to join Rogers on the ramp, represents the last of the Horsemen Gotch now has to defeat before getting a shot at Rogers' MLW Championship. But the TV announcers ask, will Rogers even still be the MLW Champion next week on Smackdown after Cyber Sunday in 2 days?
- As Rogers and Valentine stare across the arena at Gotch who stares back at them, the show comes to an end.
- See you tomorrow for this week's edition of Saturday EAWA!

With just 1 day to go until Cyber Sunday, it's now time for this week's edition of Saturday EAWA featuring the first round/quarter-finals action in the EAWA Tag Team Championship Tournament
Major League Wrestling (MLW) EAWA Saturday November 1, 2008 The Major League Wrestling Arena Las Vegas, NV (First Half of the show)
In the Ring: EAWA General Manager the Million Dollar Man Ted DiBiase with Virgil, Ray Stevens, and Bob Orton Sr.
- DiBiase announces that EAWA Champion The Crusher will prepare for his triple threat main event match tomorrow with his title possibly on the line at Cyber Sunday against both RAW's World Champion Nick Bockwinkel and Smackdown's MLW Champion Buddy Rogers by first competing in a triple threat match today on EAWA against both Giant Baba and King Kong Bundy!
- DiBiase also announced he's not through teaching Sabu (who was defeated last week in a gauntlet match against Virgil, Stevens, Orton Sr, and DiBiase) a lesson yet and to start things off this week Sabu will be wrestling a 1 on 3 handicap match against DiBiase, Stevens, and Orton Sr!
Match #1: Ted DiBiase (accompanied by Virgil), Ray Stevens, and Bob Orton Sr. defeated Sabu in a handicap match.
- Sabu was completely overmatched in this handicap match which looked like it could have ended sooner but Orton Sr. and Stevens, upon orders from DiBiase, kept lifting up Sabu's head to inflict more punishment right before the referee was about to finish the 3 count including once after Orton Sr.'s PILEDRIVER. The match mercifully ended for Sabu when DiBiase put him away via his MILLION DOLLAR DREAM and then afterward Virgil handed both Stevens and Orton Sr. a fistful of cash.
Match #2: The Terrible Turk defeated Konnan
- The Terrible Turk won this match via a rib crusher.
Match #3: Playboy Buddy Rose and Danny Doring defeated the Vachons (managed by "Wild" Red Berry) in a First Round/Quarter-Finals match of the EAWA Tag Team Championship Tournament.
- In a major upset in which the sports book inside The Major League Wrestling Arena made alot of money, former MLW Tag Team Champions the Vachons lost to Rose and Doring when Butcher Vachon threw Doring into the ropes and Doring rebounded by rolling up a shocked Butcher Vachon into a small package for the 3 count.
-Playboy Buddy Rose and Danny Doring now advance to the Semi-Finals of the EAWA Tag Team Championship Tournament next week where they will face the winner of tonights match between The Heroes of Hardcore and the Samoan Island Tribe.
December to Dismember advertisement EAWA's first-ever brand specific PPV will be December to Dismember on Sunday December 7th!
Match #4: The Heroes of Hardcore defeated the Samoan Island Tribe in a First Round/Quarter-Finals match of the EAWA Tag Team Championship Tournament.
- This was a real competitive match in which the end came with Hardcore Hodge in trouble before finally being able to make a tag to Hardcore Hutton. Hardcore Hutton then proceeded to put Alofa away via a Cowboy backbreaker.
- The Heroes of Hardcore now advance to the Semi-Finals of the EAWA Tag Team Championship Tournament next week when they will wrestle Playboy Buddy Rose and Danny Doring for a spot in the EAWA Tag Team Championship Tournament Finals to take place at December to Dismember!
End of First Half. Second Half will be posted next and includes the other 2 First Round matches in the EAWA Tag Team Championship Tournament: Larry "the Axe" Hennig and Angelo Mosca vs the Barroom Heroes and The Valiants vs The Bodydonnas, another Mr. Perfect gambling promo/vignette, an update on the status of the injured Masked Superstar, and the main event of EAWA Champion The Crusher vs Giant Baba vs King Kong Bundy in a non-title triple threat match!

Major League Wrestling (MLW) EAWA Saturday November 1, 2008 The Major League Wrestling Arena Las Vegas, NV (Second Half of the show, First Half is posted above)
Match #5: Larry "The Axe" Hennig and Angelo Mosca defeated the Barroom Heroes in a First Round/Quarter-Finals match of the EAWA Tag Team Championship Tournament.
- Hennig and Mosca, two AWA Originals, got revenge against the Barroom Heroes who defeated them last week on EAWA. This match ended when Mosca pinned the Sandman via a football tackle.
-Hennig and Mosca now advance to the Semi-Finals of the EAWA Tag Team Championship Tournament next week where they will face the winner of tonight's match between The Valiants and The Bodydonnas.
Match #6: The Valiants defeated The Bodydonnas (managed by Tammy) in a First Round/Quarter-Finals match of the EAWA Tag Team Championship Tournament.
- This was the most competitive of the 4 first round matches which saw the Valiants escape past the Bodydonnas after avoiding many close pinfalls including 2 that came from Tom Prichard blatantly using his FOREIGN OBJECT without concern of being DQd in the extreme rules environment of the EAWA. The end came when Johnny Valiant pinned Prichard following a TOP ROPE ELBOW.
- The Valiants now advance to the Semi-Finals of the EAWA Tag Team Championship Tournament next week where they will face Larry "The Axe" Hennig and Angelo Mosca with the winner moving on to the EAWA Tag Team Championship Tournament Finals at December to Dismember!
Mr. Perfect Promo/Vignette: This week Mr. Perfect is playing poker at Caesar's Palace where he is seen winning alot of money by showing a Royal Flush of Diamonds!
- Mr. Perfect then looks at the camera and reminds everyone that he will be coming off the injured list right after the Survivor Series and that his first match back will take place at December to Dismember!
Masked Superstar Update: The TV announcers mention that the Masked Superstar, who was injured last week on EAWA by a CRUSHER BOLO from EAWA Champion The Crusher, will be out of action a little over a month and, like Mr. Perfect, will be making his return from the injured list at December to Dismember.
DiBiase's Office: EAWA General Manager Ted DiBiase is in his office with King Kong Bundy and Virgil.
-DiBiase tells Bundy that he's been very impressed with Bundy's work here in the EAWA and that in tonight's triple threat match the goal is to soften up The Crusher for Cyber Sunday tomorrow because that way if the MLW Universe chooses The Crusher as the one who has to defend his title then it will make it less likely The Crusher can retain it which would then make it vacant and suddenly available to someone in the EAWA.
Match #7, the main event: King Kong Bundy defeated EAWA Champion The Crusher and Giant Baba in a non-title triple threat match.
As Baba was knocked down in the opposite turnbuckle corner, Bundy won this match when he made The Crusher submit to a big bear hug.
-DiBiase then came out to celebrate the victory by Bundy who the TV announcers mention is undoubtedly now in the picture for an EAWA Championship match after his impressive win tonight.
- The TV announcer also wonder aloud if The Crusher couldn't defeat Bundy and Baba in a triple threat match today, how can The Crusher expect to fare tomorrow at Cyber Sunday in a triple threat match against RAW's World Champion Nick Bockwinkel and Smackdown's MLW Champion Buddy Rogers with the EAWA Championship possibly on the line?
End of Show.

It's now time for the RAW brand of Major League Wrestling (MLW) to present Cyber Sunday!
(note: the way I got the voting %s listed here is I added up the number of votes each of the 3 possibilities received for each poll both on the GBITG and on the official board and then I divided the total number of votes each received by the total number of votes for that poll on both boards).
Cyber Sunday was preceded by a 30 minute episode of Major League Wrestling: Fight Night which recapped all of the major storylines going into tonight's PPV and included the following dark match.
Dark Match: S.D. Jones defeated Larry Sharpe
- Jones overcame early offense by Sharpe to win via a sleeper.
Major League Wrestling (MLW) Cyber Sunday- presented by MLW's RAW brand Sunday November 2, 2008 The Major League Wrestling Arena Las Vegas, NV (First Third of the show)
- As this PPV came on the air, "Pomp and Circumstance" started playing as Cruiserweight Champion Gorgeous George came out to the ring for the opening match.
-Big Screen: As George stood in the center of the ring, the big screen showed an area backstage where Ida Mae Martinez had a microphone and introduced George's 3 possible challengers tonight: Pepper Gomez, Iron Mike DiBiase, and the Missing Link.
- As Martinez repeats the poll question "Who will challenge Gorgeous George for the Cruiserweight Championship at Cyber Sunday?" the poll totals from the MLW Universe are then displayed:
Pepper Gomez= 40% Iron Mike DiBiase= 13% Missing Link= 33%
- Pepper Gomez then comes out to wrestle George for the Cruiserweight Championship.
Match #1: Pepper Gomez defeated Gorgeous George to win the Cruiserweight Championship.
- George survived the first 6 pin/submission attempts from Gomez but just looked thrown off by not knowing until the match started who he would be defending his title against as Gomez dominated the action and won the match and the Cruiserweight Championship via his MEXICAN CRADLE.
Big Screen: Martinez is shown backstage once again saying it's now time for tonight's contract match with the free agent winner of the match receiving an MLW contract!
- Martinez repeats this match's poll question of "Who will wrestle in a match for an MLW contract?" and the poll result totals from the MLW Universe are then revealed:
Rikidozan vs The Destroyer= 57% Rikidozan vs Iron Sheik= 13% The Destroyer vs Iron Sheik= 30%
Match #2: Rikidozan defeated The Destroyer in a contract match to win an MLW contract.
- This was a great match which showed how much both competitors wanted to earn a coveted MLW contract. The Destroyer started off in control and soon proceeded to work on Rikidozan's leg by giving him a single leg Boston Crab followed by 2 different attempts to win the match via his finishing FIGURE FOUR LEGLOCK- but both times Rikidozan refused to tap out!
- Rikidozan battled back and the two exchanged offense for the rest of the match that ended after both scored multiple pinfall/submission attempts against each other with Rikidozan hitting The Destroyer with his THUNDEROUS CHOPS for the first time in this match to get the 3 count.
- Rikidozan, who last year at Cyber Sunday's contract match failed to win an MLW contract when he lost his match to Antonio Inoki, now finally has an MLW contract. But will Rikidozan end up on RAW, Smackdown (where Inoki is part of the roster), or the EAWA?
- The TV announcers remark that after just 2 matches today at Cyber Sunday we already have a new champion in Cruiserweight Champion Pepper Gomez and a new MLW Superstar in Rikidozan!
- Big Screen: Ida Mae Martinez is once again shown backstage introducing the next match.
- Martinez asks the poll question "What type of match will Bruiser Brody and Don Muraco wrestle against each other?" and the final poll results from the MLW Universe are then shown:
steel chain= 60% falls count anywhere= 30% street suicide= 10%
Match #3: Bruiser Brody defeated Don Muraco (accompanied by Ladies Champion Sherri Martel) in a steel chain match.
- Muraco appeared worried about having to wrestle his enemy Brody in a steel chain match and hesitated for awhile before attaching one end of the steel chain to himself. Brody showed that he was indeed the more proficient wrestler in this type of match by dominating the action. At one point, Martel tried to distract Brody by jumping up on the ring apron but Brody, while pulling Muraco behind him on the chain, chased her away toward the back. Brody proceeded to win the match via his JUMPING KNEE DROP.
End of First Third. Second Third will be posted next and includes: the MLW Tag Team Champions the Fabulous Kangaroos defending their championship against either the New Age Outlaws, Greg Valentine and Brutus Beefcake, or Yukon Eric and Cousin Luke, Harley Race wrestling either Mil Mascaras, Jimmy Snuka, or Diamond Dallas Page in a #1 contenders' match, and more!

Major League Wrestling (MLW) Cyber Sunday- presented by MLW's RAW brand Sunday November 2, 2008 The Major League Wrestling Arena Las Vegas, NV (Second Third of the show, First Third is posted above)
Backstage: The Destroyer is packing up his stuff after losing the contract match earlier tonight to Rikidozan when Minor League Wrestling Commissioner Charlie Cox walks up and talks to him. Cox then gets The Destroyer to sign a contract to wrestle for Minor League Wrestling!
Big Screen: Ida Mae Martinez is standing backstage with the 3 tag teams (New Age Outlaws, Greg Valentine and Brutus Beefcake, and Yukon Eric and Cousin Luke) listed in the poll to challenge the MLW Tag Team Champions the Fabulous Kangaroos tonight at Cyber Sunday.
- Martinez then asks the poll question "Which tag team will challenge the Fabulous Kangaroos for the MLW Tag Team Championship?" and the poll results from the MLW Universe are then displayed:
New Age Outlaws= 72% Greg Valentine and Brutus Beefcake= 17% Yukon Eric and Cousin Luke= 11%
- As Yukon Eric and Cousin Luke shake hands with the New Age Outlaws and wish them luck, Valentine and Beefcake react angry at their low poll numbers.
- The New Age Outlaws, who are now getting their long awaited rematch against the Fabulous Kangaroos who won the MLW Tag Team Championship from them back at Unforgiven.
Match #4: The Fabulous Kangaroos (managed by Captain Kangaroo) defeated the New Age Outlaws 2-0 in a best 2 out of 3 falls match to retain the MLW Tag Team Championship.
- First Fall: A competitive fall, Roy Heffernan made B.G. James tap out to his STEP OVER TOEHOLD. Kangaroos are up 1-0.
- Second Fall: Heffernan pinned Kip James following a BOOMERANG. Kangaroos win 2-0.
Big Screen: Ida Mae Martinez is once again shown backstage with a microphone saying it's now time for the #1 contenders' match in which one of the following wrestlers will wrestle Harley Race and if they win receive an automatic title shot against Race's fellow Heenan Family member World Champion Nick Bockwinkel.
- Martinez then asks the poll question: "Who will wrestle Harley race in a #1 contenders' match?" and the poll results from the MLW Universe are then displayed:
Mil Mascaras=50% Jimmy Snuka=29% Diamond Dallas Page=21%
Match #5: Mil Mascaras defeated Harley Race (managed by Bobby Heenan) in a #1 contenders' match.
- In a surprisingly quick match, Mascaras pinned Race via a FLYING BODYPRESS to win a guaranteed future title shot for Nick Bockwinkel's World Championship!
Backstage: Heenan Family members World Champion Nick Bockwinkel, Rick Rude, and Ox Baker are shown watching the Mascaras-Race match and reacting with shock at how easily Mascaras won the match.
- Bockwinkel is upset because even if he retains the World Championship in tonight's mega main event, he'll still have to defend it soon once again vs Mascaras.
Backstage: Valentine and Beefcake are seen walking down the hallway still upset that the MLW Universe didn't vote for them to challenge for the MLW Tag Team Championship tonight. They past the Killer Bees who laugh at them as Beefcake responds by telling B. Brian Blair and Jim Brunzelle that at least they (Valentine and Beefcake) made the poll for the championship match.
- Valentine and Beefcake then run into MLW Chairman Bruno Sammartino and complain about how they didn't get very many votes. Sammartino tells Valentine and Beefcake since they wanted to wrestle so much tonight he's going to assign them a match- against Snuka and DDP who were the 2 wrestlers not voted earlier to challenge Race in the #1 contenders' match.
- Valentine and Beefcake get even more upset at this news but Sammartino tells them their match is up next.
Match #6, a bonus match: Jimmy Snuka and Diamond Dallas Page defeated Greg Valentine and Brutus Beefcake.
- Snuka and DDP won when Snuka pinned Valentine via a piledriver.
End of Second Third. Final Third will be posted next and includes: 1) Intercontinental Champion Jim Londos defending his title against either Rick Rude, Ed "Strangler" Lewis, or Cowboy Bob Orton Jr., 2) Bobo Brazil vs his enemy The Sheik in either a steel cage match, a last man standing match, or a coffin match, and 3) the biggest main event in Major League Wrestling History of RAW's World Champion Nick Bockwinkel vs Smackdown's MLW Champion Buddy Rogers vs EAWA's EAWA Champion The Crusher in a triple threat match with one of their titles on the line!

Major League Wrestling (MLW) Cyber Sunday- presented by MLW's RAW brand Sunday November 2, 2008 The Major League Wrestling Arena Las Vegas, NV (Final Third of the show, First Third and Second Third are both posted above)
Big Screen: Ida Mae Martinez is backstage with Rick Rude, Ed "Strangler" Lewis, and Cowboy Bob Orton Jr.
- Martinez asks the poll question "Who will challenge Jim Londos for the Intercontinental Championship?" and the poll results from the MLW Universe are displayed:
Rick Rude=40% Ed "Strangler" Lewis=51% Cowboy Bob Orton Jr.=9%
The Strangler's new entrance music of bagpipes starting with the phrase "My name is The Strangler and I love to fight" is then played as The Strangler comes out to wrestle Londos for the first time in Major League Wrestling History!
Match #7: Jim Londos defeated Ed "Strangler" Lewis to retain the Intercontinental championship.
- Lewis controlled most of the action in this match but lost when he got pinned following an AIRPLANE SPIN from Londos.
- Londos' impressive reign as Intercontinental Champion which began back at Wrestlemania thus continues with his victory over Lewis tonight at Cyber Sunday!
Backstage: World Champion Nick Bockwinkel and Bobby Heenan run into EAWA Champion The Crusher.
- Bockwinkel and Heenan look at The Crusher's new championship and Bockwinkel tells The Crusher, who used to be the Heenan Family's biggest enemy before being drafted over to the EAWA in last month's MLW Expansion Draft, that he better hope the MLW Universe didn't vote The Crusher's EAWA Championship to be the title on the line because Bockwinkel defeated him repeatedly earlier this year on RAW and he'll defeat The Crusher once again later tonight in the triple threat main event!
Big Screen: Ida Mae Martinez is shown backstage once again with a microphone and asking the poll question: "What type of match will Bobo Brazil and The Sheik wrestle against each other?" and then the poll results from the MLW Universe are displayed:
steel cage=55% last man standing=38% coffin=7%
- As the poll results are shown, the steel cage hanging above the ring starts lowering.
Match #8: The Sheik (managed by Abdullah Farouk) defeated Bobo Brazil in a steel cage match.
- The most vicious feud in all of Major League Wrestling stepped in up a notch in this match which ended when The Sheik threw Brazil into the side of the cage and as Brazil smashed into the side and then crashed to the floor he tapped out as The Sheik immediately applied his CAMEL CLUTCH.
Advertisement: Survivor Series
- A promo is shown saying that the next Major League Wrestling PPV will be Survivor Series on Thanksgiving weekend presented by MLW's RAW, Smackdown, and EAWA brands! The promos says that Survivor Series will shake up Major League Wrestling because "teams of 5 will strive to survive" in elimination tag matches with the survivors all receiving future title shots!
Backstage: MLW Chairman Bruno Sammartino walks up to Mil Mascaras to congratulate him on his victory earlier tonight against Race in the #1 contenders' match.
- Sammartino also promises Mascaras that even if Bockwinkel loses the World Championship in the main event coming up next to make the World Championship vacant that Mascaras would still be involved in the match to determine the new World Champion.
In the Ring: RAW's World Champion Nick Bockwinkel, Smackdown's MLW Champion Buddy Rogers and the EAWA's EAWA Champion The Crusher all come out to their entrance musics for tonight's triple threat main event.
Big Screen: Ida Mae Martinez is once again shown backstage and she asks the poll question: "Whose championship will be on the line?" and the poll results from the MLW Universe are then displayed:
RAW's World Champion Nick Bockwinkel=49% Smackdown's MLW Champion Buddy Rogers=27% EAWA's EAWA Champion The Crusher=24%
- In the ring, Bockwinkel and his manager Bobby Heenan react angry and worried as now Bockwinkel must be the one to score the pinfall or submission in this match or his World Championship will become vacant!
Match #9, the main event: MLW Champion Buddy Rogers defeated World Champion Nick Bockwinkel and EAWA Champion The Crusher in a triple threat match.
- In the best match of the night that saw all 3 competitors score and survive multiple pin/submission attempts, the match ended when The Crusher got knocked out of the ring and Rogers made Bockwinkel tap out to his FIGURE FOUR GRAPEVINE.
- As a result, Bockwinkel loses the World Championship which becomes vacant!
- As Rogers gets his hand raised in triumph, the TV announcers ask just what does this mean for the RAW brand which is now temporarily without a main champion and they also ask if perhaps someday Bockwinkel and Rogers will wrestle against each other in a 1 on 1 match, perhaps at a Wrestlemania?
- As Rogers continues to celebrate his major victory tonight, Cyber Sunday comes to an end.

MLW Champion Buddy Rogers defeated World Champion Nick Bockwinkel and EAWA Champion The Crusher in a triple threat match. And to a nicer guy...it couldn't happen! Only a few of my picks came out on top, but it sounds like a good show.
