[Fringe]

I'm currently getting ready to open my GWFZ for 2128. Here's an update with rosters included before I start.






HALL OF FAME ZONE
This year brings us the beginning of the Hall of Fame Zone. 18 wrestlers have been asked and have agreed to join. Rumor is that 2 more were asked, Pride and The Saint, but Earth would not allow them to join.

ALL EARTH ZONE vs. PLANET Z[/b][/color][/u]
The government on Earth has brought forth a new territory to the GWFZ called the All Earth Zone. Bulletins were sent out to most all Earth wrestlers in the GWFZ that they were to return to Earth immediately. With the entire galaxy looking on with confusion, GWFZ wrestler Fringe suggested that the powers to be on Earth were looking to take over the GWFZ and that the rest of the planets in the Sun's Solar System should watch out. Fringe then mysteriously disappeared (Promoter note - Fringe refused Earth's orders to return for the All Earth Zone and would later show up in the GWF). The other planets have had their suspicions about Earth for some time already. The Planet Z territory then took action and gathered wrestlers hailing from their planets to battle All Earth. This war has put wrestlers who were enemies on the same side as they battle for territorial supremacy. Nobody really knows what's going on and Earth isn't helping by not talking. On the Earth side, some wrestlers like Pride are defending Earth for just wanting their own territory while guys like Ares and Irish Heat are pushing for complete war with Planet Z. On the Planet Z side, no planet is taking a chance that Earth may have evil intentions. They've sent their best wrestlers into battle, with the Titans being the most numerous group and, believe it or not, the most outspoken.

With the emergence of an All Earth Zone and the action taken by Planet Z to stop them, Mr. Vega decides to move on from Planet Z. His new money making venture...the Speed Zone! Mr. Vega has been listening to the fans and has decided to organize a new territory based on cruiser weights. With Vega's financing behind it, expect to see a lot from the Speed Zone in 2128!

GWFZOO
Andromeda gets it's own territory in 2128...the GWFZOO! A unique territory where AniMen will fight in Battle Royals, Tournaments and Gauntlet Matches that include the entire roster. Only one AniMan will be left standing on each card. Wins equal points in the Zoo. Final point standings at the end of the year will determine the Leader of the Pack!

DANGER ZONE
Beginning in 2128, the Danger Zone will hold only one event per year. The event will be a 16 Man Tournament called the King of the Death Match. A tournament so deadly it takes it's wrestlers the entire rest of the year to recover!

Citadel of the Elite - With many of it's members leaving to places like the Hall of Fame Zone, the Citadel has decided to run it's territory privately as a developmental system open to only those that the Citadel deem worthy.

Super Natural Xtreme - SNX will no longer broadcast their shows on holovision at this time, but will still run live events throughout the cosmos.

Sisters of the Stars - SOS will also no longer broadcast their shows but will still run live events.

The Hall Of Fame Zone holds it's first card at Champions Hall, Ceres; a 16 Man Tournamnet to crown a GWFZ Universal Champion!

Round One
Assassin Z advances over Hegemony following Kudome Valentine.
Nightmerica defeats Freak Out with CASUALTY OF WAR.
Leviathan moves pass BDK after a NEAR DEATH EXPERIENCE.
Tyrro forces Harm into submission with a step over into cross face.
Tiberious Cota manages to get pass Cardiak via FALL OF THE REPUBLIC.
Totalis puts down Magnifico with FINAL ROUND.
Parox is victorious against Motor Psycho using BRING THE PAIN for the win.
GQ Stratus earns a submission victory via an abdominal stretch on Sledgend.


Quarterfinals
Assassin Z pins Nightmerica following a Victory Star Drop.
Tyrro moves on after slamming Leviathan to the canvas with a superplex.
Totalis beats Tiberious Cota with FINAL ROUND.
GQ Stratus advances over Parox after a PIN USING ROPES.


Semifinals
Tyrro moves on to the Finals after dropping Assassin Z with a Gliese Hammer.
Totalis advances as he's able to put away GQ Stratus with FINAL ROUND.


Final
Totalis lands a Masterful Moonsault and pins Tyrro to become GWFZ Universal Champion!

The All Earth Zone crowns its first Earth World Champion with an 8 Man Tournament!


Round One
Dr. Payne uses the PAYNE GAME to knock off the All-American Joe Olson.
It takes Ares three SPARTAN SPEARS, but he gets the job done versus The Saint.
'Natural Man' Bobby Roberts plants Grillz into the canvas with a PILEDRIVER.
Pride is able to lift and then drop Daisuke Sengoku with a PRIDE PUMP HANDLE SLAM.


Semifinals
Ares easily defeats Dr. Payne with a SPARTAN SPEAR.
Pride advances pass Bobby Roberts following a PRIDE PUMP HANDLE SLAM.


Final
Pride vs. Ares. Considering the history of these two in the last year, a better Final for the Earth World title couldn't be asked for. After Ares tired of Pride and left the ZDF, these two feuded in some of the most emotional and memorable matches in GWFZ history. Another chapter in their feud is written as the two battle to see who will emerge as the face of the new All Earth Zone. Ares lunges forward at Pride and drives him to the mat with a hard hitting SPARTAN SPEAR. Ares becomes the first Earth World Champion!

Planet Z crowns an O Zone Champion ahead of its battle with All Earth!


Round One
The Phenomenal Swift puts down Y2K with MIND ERASER in a tough battle.
Vain rolls out of the way of a Verdict deathjump from Galactic Defender, and then covers him for the three count.
'Lightning' Mike Quackenbush drills Manic into the canvas with a Titan Drop.
Bro Gnarley advances over Dragonlord via DON'T TASE ME, BRO.


Semifinals
The Phenomenal Swift quickly (snake eyes) beats Vain with Hell on Wheels.
Mike Quackenbush moves pass Bro Gnarley, who is DDQ'd for DON'T TASE ME BRO.


Final
The Phenomenal Swift emerges victorious following a MIND ERASER in a great encounter with Mike Quackenbush. The Phenomenal Swift is crowned O Zone Champion!

FIRST ENCOUNTER

All Earth and Planet Z go to war for the first time at the Roswell Spectrum, Earth!



The Season Begins!
Blindside vs. Blitz
Former partners split by the war go to battle in their own way. Blindside and Blitz will compete in an entire season of one on one matches where wins and losses will be tracked.

Blindside weakens Blitz up using clippings to the ring post. Blindside then strikes with a CAREER CRIPPLER. Blindside earns the first win of the series.

Dr Payne vs. Manic
Dr. Payne and Manic make their entrances for the next contest. Before the match starts, Dr. Payne tries to get in Manic's head...

Dr. Payne "This is my opponent? This nutcase? You, Manic, are crazy and need help."

Manic "What are you... a doctor?"

Dr. Payne "Actually...yes! But I don't help people, I hurt them!"

The action then begins. Manic is one move away from finishing Dr. Payne off, but Payne rebounds and beats Manic with a ground and pound attack.


Assassin's Creed vs. Venusian Guard
Apollo and Shukra rock Akuma with VENUSIAN BURIAL (+4)!


The Saint vs. Y2K
Y2K has the Saint's number in this match up. Y2K puts the final nail in the coffin with a CODE BREAKER.


'All-American' Joe Olson vs. Bro Gnarley
Joe Olson has created the All-American All Stars team consisting of HOF Gravity Baller Blindside, Former boxer 'TKO' Thomas Keller, and himself. This has lead Bro Gnarley and Ceratonin to recruit Blitz to the Bros Before Heroes team to take on the All Stars.

The leaders of the two teams face off as Joe Olson goes up against Bro Gnarley. Joe Olson wins this one against Bro Gnarley by DQ. The ref calls the match after DON'T TASE ME, BRO.


Godspeed vs. Arial Foundation
Godspeed take the win here after executing their tag finisher, BATTLE FOR OLYMPUS. Achilles pins Flash.


O Zone Championship Match!
Daisuke Sengoku vs. (C) The Phenomenal Swift
The Phenomenal Swift shows he will be a fighting champion after accepting Daisuke Sengoku's challenge for a title match. Swift is dominant and earns the win with MIND ERASER.


'Natural Man' Bobby Roberts vs. Vain
Bobby Roberts and Vain both come out for the next match, but exchange words before the bell...

Roberts "Allow me to introduce myself. I am 'Natural Man' Bobby Roberts and I am the greatest wrestler in the entire GWFZ. It's your pleasure."

Vain "Hold on right there. I am Vain and I'm the greatest wrestler in the entire GWFZ. And it's your pleasure."

Roberts "I'm the greatest wrestler in the GWFZ!"

Vain "No, I'm the greatest wrestler in the GWFZ!"

Rpberts "No, I'm the greatest!"

Vain "I'm the greatest!"

This goes on for a couple of minutes until the ref tires and orders the timekeeper to just ring the bell. The two then go at one another. Vain survives a PILEDRIVER and mounts a comeback. Bobby Roberts gets knocked to the mat by a BROKEN HEART PUNCH. Vain emerges victorious.


6 Man Tag Team Match!
European Brawlers vs. Titan Discipline
The faction of Earth World Champion Ares, Irish Heat and Exzcutioner form a team of men connected by their European ties that like to just straight up fight. Opposing them in Planet Z is the more trained group Titan Discipline, made up of Dragonlord, Stryker and Revelation.

The two sides meet for a 6 Man Tag here at First Encounter. The Titans just can't find their footing in the contest. The Brawlers dominate with Ares winning the match following a Spartan Slam on Stryker.


Number One Contender to the Earth World Title!
Pride vs. 'Lightning' Mike Quackenbush
Pride and Quackenbush get into a heated exchange before their match...

Quackenbush "Pride, I know you are a good man, but you are blind to what's really going on with the All Earth Zone. They have planned a takeover and whether you like it or not, you are taking part in it."

Pride "Mike, you are delusional. It's Planet Z that are the oppressors here. Your side has mounted an offense against us. We're just trying to establish our own territory. And it makes me sick to my stomach that of all the groups in the galaxy, that it's the Titans leading a war against Earth."

Quackenbush "We're not leading a war, we've formed a defense."

Pride "A defense against what? Your own brothers. Your own friends here on Earth. Don't forget where you came from traitor!"

Quackenbush "Traitor? The Earth government is the traitor. They turned their back on their own people a long time ago. You're just too blind to see it because you're one of the brainwashed masses of the arrogant nation of America!"

Pride "That's it! The time for talk is over!"

Pride and Mike Quackenbush collide! 'Lightning' Mike has Pride in trouble hitting big move after big move. He then weakens him up with submission moves. Pride eventually turns things around and goes own a tear. Pride pounds on Quackenbush and finishes him off with a PATRIOT MISSILE. Pride wins and is named the Number One contender to the Earth World title held by Ares.

The Speed Zone opens with the Light Speed Championship Tournament!

Round One
Mr. Vega has no trouble taking out Eradicator with HIGH ROLLER.
Shitake Jr. plants Chronoking into the mat with a MUSHROOM DRIVER.
Torq beats Illustrious with his TORQ-SAULT BOMB.
La Vuelta drops Undercover Alien with a suplex bomb.
Death Knight III hits a CATAPULT KICK on a drunken Narcotik.
Atlas uses an ATLAS BOMB and moves pass Chalupacabre.
Blue Tornado wipes out Dread Pirate of M83 with a TORNADO DDT.
Nemean is victorious against Torn via WELCOME TO THE SHOW.


Quarterfinals
Mr.Vega busts on a HIGH ROLLER, but fights back to hit LET IT RIDE on Shitake Jr.
Torq will move on after a TORQ-SAULT BOMB on La Vuelta.
Death Knight III takes out Atlas with a COSMIC LANCE.
Blue Tornado storms pass Nemean with a TORNADO DDT.


Semifinals
Torq is able to knock off Mr. Vega with his TORQ-SAULT BOMB in an excellent contest.
Death Knight III strikes with a CATAPULT KICK versus Blue Tornado.


Final
Torq and Death Knight III beat the snot out of each other in the Final. Torq finishes Death Knight off with the TORQ-SAULT BOMB. Torq is crowned Light Speed Champion!

The Speed Zone presents SONIC BOOM from the Eagles Flight Cathedral, Altair![/center]


Nemean quickly takes care of Eradicator to open the show.


Cameras go backstage where Dread Pirate of M83 and Shiitake Jr. are seen assaulting Undercover Alien! Undercover Alien and Blue Tornado were scheduled to appear versus Dread Pirate and Shiitake here tonight. This tag team match now looks to be in jeopardy!


La Vuelta beats Atlas with CHOKE TRASERO de DESNUDO.


2 on 1 HANDICAP MATCH
With Undercover Alien unable to compete tonight, Blue Tornado faces Dread Pirate and Shiitake Jr. by himself. Blue Tornado refuses to get discouraged. He overcomes the odds pinning Shiitake Jr. following a TORNADO DDT.

Blue Tornado wins, but Dread Pirate and Shiitake attack after the match! The two punish Blue Tornado just like they did Undercover Alien earlier. A commotion occurs among the audience. A masked man dressed in street clothes is seen running through the crowd. He leaps over the guardrail and comes to Blue Tornado's aid. It's former GWF star Cyclone! Cyclone clears the ring of Dread Pirate and Shiitake Jr. Cyclone helps Blue Tornado back to his feet and the two then hit synchronized planchas on Pirate and Shiitake. Blue Tornado and Cyclone then roll back in the ring and it looks like Cyclone has a mic now...

Cyclone "I came out to the show tonight to show my support for the new Speed Zone. I was looking forward to just enjoying some great action, but when I saw that Blue Tornado needed help I had to get involved."

Blue Tornado "Cyclone, thank you for the help. I have one question to ask you, though. On the next Speed Zone card, will you be my partner for a Tag Team match versus Dread Pirate of M83 and Shiitake Jr.?"

Cyclone 'Yes!"


Narcotik continues to battle his demons as we see him try to wrestle Torn while under the influence in the next match. Torn defeats Narcotik with CROSSFIRE CLONE.


6 MAN TAG MATCH
Light Speed Champion Torq teams up with Mr. Vega and Chalupacabra to face off against Death Knight III, Illustrious, and Chronoking. The action is fast and furious. Chalupacabra hits a CHALUPACANRANA on Chronoking but Illustrious makes the save. This turns the tide of the match. With Death Knight III and Torq legal, Death Knight puts down Torq with a COSMIC LANCE. Death Knight III, Illustrious, and Chronoking are announced the winners!

GAUNTLET OF THE SERPENT

GWFZOO holds its first card at Andromeda 7; one long Gauntlet Match called the Gauntlet of the Serpent! Which position a wrestler is placed in the Gauntlet will make all the difference in this one! Who will score the first point in the Leader of the Pack Series?

1) Pandamonium and Harris get the dreaded first and second spot in the Gauntlet. It would take a miracle to run the entire Gauntlet. Pandamonium moves on after an ANDROMEDA DESTROYER.

2) Ibex is up next. He pins Pandamonium following a top rope stomp.

3) Cardinal Sin comes flying off the top rope with a cross body to pin Ibex.

4) Chilly Fu takes out Cardinal Sin with CHILLY CHOP SUEY.

5) Razor Sharp ends Chilly Fu's hopes of continuing in the Gauntlet after a top rope clothesline.

6) Razor Sharp becomes the first to win two in a row. He puts away Bullet with an Andromeda Drop.

7) Forlorn stops Razor Sharp from advancing any further. He pins Razor Sharp after a splash from the second rope.

8) Forlorn takes another win. He slams Tusk to the mat with a TITAN DROP.

9) Forlorn on a roll with win number three. Trash Animan is put out with ROAR RESTORED.


The next entrant is a surprise as recently retired GWF star Malkuth comes out!

Malkuth "Oh yeah! Not long ago I decided I was ready to retire. Ready to go home and live a care free life for the rest of my days. I wasn't home but a few days until I, like many of you fans, started hearing the news that Andromeda would be getting our very own GWFZ territory. I was so proud, but also I was so hungry. Hungry to become the Leader of the Pack! So here I am, here in the GWFZOO, and all I have to say is these boots aren't getting hung up just yet!"


10) A huge surprise with the recent signing of Malkuth to the GWFZOO! Malkuth gives Forlorn the fight of his life, but Forlorn is able to overcome for his fourth straight victory. An Andromeda Drop puts Malkuth down for the three count.

11) An exhausted Forlorn finally goes down against Saint Bernard. Saint Bernard puts Forlorn to the mat with a CLOTHESLINE FROM DOGGY HEAVEN.

12) Saint Bernard makes it two in a row by next defeating Powerslam. RESCUE MISSION gets Bernard the win.

13) Cernunnos ends Saint Bernard's chances of winning tonight with ALL THINGS REMEMBERED (+5).

14) Tortalis is out next and is victorious against Cernunnos with a Turtle Bomb.

15) Tortalis and Andromeda Dragon meet next in a battle. Tortalis prevails after a series of Turtle Whacks.

16) Tortalis looks for a third victory as we near the end of the Gauntlet but instead finds defeat at the hands of Markhor. Markhor uses PROXIMATE CAUSE to get the job done.

17) In the final match of the Gauntlet, Markhor faces Jack Rabbid who draws the lucky final spot. Jack Rabbid watches all the other Animen go down and steps in last to polish off Markhor with a HARE STOMP (+1)


Jack Rabbid scores the first point in the Leader of the Pack series!
