Yep got my cotg started because of pwi. It was in the late 80's can't remember exactly what the date was but had a few sets when I moved. They got lost in the move and I immediately started over and ordered more best investment I ever made. This game kept me busy during my recovery last year after my open heart surgery and is doing it again last month and a half while I am on medical leave again because of my heart. Thanx to everyone associated with fg for keeping me from getting bored and going insane during these times.

Congrats Bazzy....I started a little before that but I wasn't permanently purchasing until 1994 when I finally had a regular income.

That's a long time! Were the ads the same in 89 as they were in the mid 90s? Reason I ask is because I found a PWI in my garage a few days ago from 1996, and the COTG ad had been filled out (which set I wanted, the address, etc) but was obviously never sent in. The ad was basically a little chunk of the box art of the intro set.
Weird to think I could have been introduced to the game way back then.= had that just been sent in with payment.
