Wow! I am impressed with most of the artwork.. I really like the Pit Viper and Executioner artwork. Vanity and Killer Queen really catch the essence of the two characters. The art for Death Knight is an improvement. I never cared for the original Death Knight artwork. The new artwork for Massif does not appeal to me.

Wow if I started playing with the Daryl Banks color era, I would have a hard time understanding why the awesome looking Death Knight lost so many matches! He may be the best one Banks has done yet of the originals.

I like all of them except Massif. Death Knight looks great, Pit Viper is amazing, Execution is spectacular, and Vanity and KQ are good. Massif does not convey any of the character of the original and I just generally don't like the drawing. I'm a huge fan of Banks' work as I've stated time and again. I was a fan of his work when he was drawing Green Lantern in the early 90s and it was like a dream that he came on board for COTG. HOWEVER, that does not keep me from disliking that Massif drawing a great deal.

Well, let me tell you it is way cool!
BTW, the wife thinks Death Knight looks more bad-ass now too...not that his original art wasn't bad-ass!

I have to agree with MT, I'm not a huge fan of the new Massif. I really liked the original art better, something about this one just irks me. Maybe it's the angle of looking up at him.
I love Pit Viper, Executioner, and Death Knight. I like the Vanity and Killer Queen but the new color cards really emphasized to me that they pretty much have the same gimmick.
