Hear, hear! Strong work by JMello in putting together a fine day. The MMA match was sweet- about the only (*&^&(^ match I won all day! Ventross, Pendragon, Euritar, The Crusher all managed to get beaten by inferior opponents. But hey, losing at CotG is still a better day than most anything else I can think of with my free time.
Since G-Con is still 9 months away, we're hoping to do something in the spring. We talked about heading down to McKinney's place in Cincinnati, or even making a road trip to Chicago to meet the G-Corn crew midway. I would find that trip to be exciting, especially if we planned it around an ROH show or another event.

Sounds like a fun time. Sometime I might have to try this one out myself, as it's only a little further than GCon for me and I know the route on I-70 well, having to travel that way to visit my in-laws in the midwest.
Nice job, Shylock! Show 'em what the POW's made of!

T.K. actually won the POW/MMA Tournament, Shylock won the final 32 man Combination Tournament with relative ease until the last match against Havoc. (Who escaped a FALLOUT +6 TWICE) Instead of WHILE ROME BURNS for Nero he now has the WHIP CREAM SLAP (0) because it just "sounds cooler" Finally, Indigo defeated Cypher in a wild MMA match with a HUGE comeback TKO victory. POW got a LOT of attention at OhioCon!! |

As did A.C.E. and Legends, we covered the whole spectrum. Kris, Trent won the A.C.E. tournament with Shepard and now loves the character and I told he was probably gone next set. Trent " What?!......... That guy is totally badass! What's he thinking? If he does then I'm going to Galacticon and Whip Cream Smacking his dumb butt (he used a few more colorful adjectives that I can't say here). Beware Mr. :-Xsk............think wisely. |
