That is awesome, Swarm.
One of my favorite things about Galacticon is seeing how other people play, including how they store cards, count pin tokens, etc. Maybe that can be included as well, as my playing space when I get the chance to play is nothing special, but as people at gcon saw this year, I use bicycle poker chips to count pin tokens and pin saves.. which is not all that interesting either, but probably different than many others. After all, who can forget Gavin Loudspeaker's wonder bread container of Pennies?

He showed it at Galacticon, it's really cool.
Right now I usually just play at my desk...easier to keep the cats away.

I've always wanted to make a "Game Table" or something using bristol board, paper, whatever. I always envisioned it being a top down view of the arena/ring area with "empty spots" for playing cards. Something like this? I play on a small mat made of a kinda of dish-towel like cloth (but nicer) and I'm going to have this image printed on the clothes. It cuts down on all the "noise" the dice make. This way I don't wake up anyone who might be sleeping when I play. that is cool! How do you get it on the cloth? Did you take it to a print shop or t-shirt place and have it transferred on it?

This is WAY past the deadline, but in case Tom ever wants to revisit this idea, or maybe t get the ball rolling for others to share I finally got around to taking a photo of my game area and accessories. There's nothing very special about it as most of my accessories are store bought, but thought the exchange of ideas might give others ideas to work from, as I've gotten many ideas from others too. A list of things I use include: (1) a portable lap desk for when I want to have things spread out on the bed or couch (i.e. not at my desk); (2) I use a set of Bicycle poker chips to count fatigue tokens and pin saves, as a few people from G-Con might remember this past summer; (3) The hard plastic sleeves and the plastic cover for the game charts are pretty popular at most conventions I go to, and I think I got the idea from JED-SE; (4) Really Useful Box is the name of the company that makes the boxes that store my cards. They are a perfect fit for the 6 x 4 hard plastic sleeves. I buy those at Office Depot.

Bask in the awesome. You're welcome. (PS:For the sake of disclosure, it probably took me far longer to set up that shot than the joke was worth. It did help motivate me to clean out my garage a little though, so win/win) Attachments:

I just use this little table or my dining room table when I need more room, like for a battle royal. I like to have the charts lain out at the top, the wrestlers right below, and my notebook to the right. I also use a stopwatch because I like to time my matches and I do set time limits. I just use hash marks in the notebook for fatigue but I did just order the tally sheet. I actually saw a folding table at walmart today that I think I'm going to buy. It's a little bigger than this, it folds up so it can be my designated gaming table, and it's only $15. I just keep my cards and stuff in a little plastic bin Attachments:

Nice Rick Rude action figure, MT! I see you like using the lap desk too. And Jeremy thanks for showing us your setup too, everyone has their quirks with how they play this game no matter how simple or fancy you try to get with it. I remember in high school I used to just play on the floor (red and blue dice make no noise on carpet) and use pennies to count fatigue tokens - which Gavin Loudspeaker still uses at GalactiCon every year.

Chewey,
That's the corner of my garage, and all of that stuff except my cards and lap board were stuff I found in boxes in the garage.
----it's was kind of supposed to be a joke-----sometimes I think people have a hard time figuring out if I'm serious or not (when in doubt, always side with "not").
