the final episode of ROV TV before this weekend's Debauchery Before Dishonor:
Ring of Vegas (ROV) ROV TV Episode #131 September 23rd, Year Three Sam's Town Las Vegas, NV
- commentators: Excalibur and Ian Riccaboni
Match #1: Alexander Hammerstone defeated Sammy Guevara
- a good match between 2 of the participants in the upcoming New Talent Tournament, Hammerstone won after a stalling superplex to improve his record to 2-0 in ROV
- afterward, Hammerstone got challenged by Killer Kross- another New Talent Tournament participant- to a match this weekend at Debauchery Before Dishonor in what will be Kross's ROV in-ring debut!
Commentary Table: Excalibur and Riccaboni say they have been given the final 8 names/participants to announce for the upcoming New Talent Tournament: "Filthy" Tom Lawlor, Mance Warner, Brian Pillman Jr., Robbie Eagles, Josh Briggs, Anthony Greene, Curt Stallion, and Wheeler Yuta!
Match #2: Josh "The Goods" Woods defeated Caprice Coleman
- during this match, Excalibur and Riccaboni remarked that both Woods and Coleman are joining Flip Gordon and Scorpio Sky in the Vegas Traditional Opening 4 Way Elimination match this weekend at Debauchery Before Dishonor.
- Woods won via SEISMIC TOSS
Backstage: Coast 2 Coast are informed by ROV Matchmaker Nigel McGuinness that they will take on Cheeseburger and Will Ferrara on the preshow at Debauchery Before Dishonor.
Match #3: Brody King defeated ROV Tag Team Champion Bandido and Roderick Strong
- 4 days before RUSH and Bandido defend the ROV Tag Team Championship against AJ Styles/Roderick Strong and PCO/Brody King in a 3 way tag elimination match, this was a really good match won by King when he pinned Bandido via the GONZO BOMB.
- as King got his hand raised in victory, Excalibur and Riccaboni wondered aloud if the same result might happen this weekend at Debauchery Before Dishonor leading to Brody King and PCO becoming the new ROV Tag Team Champions?
Debauchery Before Dishonor Ring of Vegas (ROV) September 27, Year Three Sam's Town Las Vegas, Nevada 1. ROV Champion Bryan Danielson vs "The Villain" Marry Scurll (ladder match) 2. ROV TV Champion Jeff Cobb vs Kenny King 3. ROV Tag Team Champions RUSH and Bandido vs AJ Styles and Roderick Strong vs PCO and Brody King (elimination tag) 4. Silas Young and the Bouncers vs ROV 6 Man Tag Team Champions The Kingdom 5. Tessa Blanchard vs WOV Champion Cheerleader Melissa 6. Tracy Williams and Mark Haskins vs Briscoes 7. Jay Lethal vs Jonathan Gresham 8. Jay White vs Punishment Martinez 9. Killer Kross vs Alexander Hammerstone (New Talent Tournament Showcase match) 10. Flip Gordon vs Scorpio Sky vs Josh "The Goods" Woods vs Caprice Coleman (Vegas Traditional Opening 4 Way Elimination match) Preshow: Coast 2 Coast vs Cheeseburger and Will Ferrara
New Talent Tournament Ring of Vegas (ROV) October 4-5 participants: "Filthy" Tom Lawlor, Mance Warner, Brian Pillman Jr., Robbie Eagles, Josh Briggs, Anthony Greene, Curt Stallion, Wheeler Yuta, Alexander Hammerstone, Killer Kross, Sammy Guevara, Eli Everfly, Luchasaurus, Shane Taylor, Sonny King, and "Man Scout" Jake Manning
Match #4: ROV Champion Bryan Danielson and ROV TV Champion Jeff Cobb defeated "The Villain" Marty Scurll and Kenny King by DQ
- 4 days before Danielson defends the ROV Championship and Cobb defends the ROV TV Championship against Scurll and King respectively at Debauchery Before Dishonor, this match ended in a DQ when Scurll was disqualified for smashing Danielson with his umbrella. But, as Excalibur and Riccaboni point out, Scurll is likely sending a message to Danielson about what to expect this weekend in their ladder match for the ROV Championship at Debauchery Before Dishonor as there will be no DQs in that match and Scurll can thus use his umbrella as a weapon all he wants.
End of Show. See you Friday for Debauchery Before Dishonor!
