the first episode of ROV TV following Supercard of Vegas and Battle for the Belts!
Ring of Vegas (ROV)
ROV TV #151
March 17, Year 4
Sam's Town
Las Vegas, NV
- commentators: Excalibur and Ian Riccaboni
In the Ring: new ROV Champion AJ Styles and new ROV TV Champion Tyler Black- who both became new champions this past weekend at Battle for the Belts- are introduced.
- Accompanied by their fellow VWO member ROC Champion Kevin Steen, Styles and Black appear and brag about their new championships and say the VWO is taking over Ring of Vegas (ROV!)
- Jay Lethal appears and demands a title shot as a result of his ROV/ROM/ROC/ROE battle royal win at Supercard of Vegas. ROV Matchmaker Nigel McGuinness appears and denies Lethal's request saying a title shot was not a stipulation attached to that battle royal as it was not the Casino Royale Rumble. McGuinness says Lethal also needs to focus tonight on his match against Keith Lee who he (Lethal) had to cheat to eliminate in the battle royal at Supercard of Vegas.
Match #1: Lee Moriarty defeated Daniel Garcia
- As this match was starting, Excalibur and Riccaboni reminded everyone that the Pure Championship Tournament is happening later this year.
- Moriarty won via JOINT CUSTODY.
With the approach of baseball's Opening Day, Field of Vegas takes place next month!
Match #2: Leyla Hirsch defeated Serena Deeb
- Hirsch won via a springboard moonsault.
- Afterward, McGuinness appeared and said next week on ROV TV will be the second annual Chick Fight Tournament!
Backstage: MJF, angry at Darby Allin for eliminating him in the battle royal at Supercard of Vegas, says he has set up a match between Allin and Lance Hoyt in 2 weeks on ROV TV!
Match #3: EYFBO defeated Kazarian and Scorpio Sky
- For this match, Christopher Daniels provided guest color commentary where he said he will now be focusing more on singles competition in the future.
- EYFBO won when Angel Ortiz put away Sky following VILLANO KILLAH.
Backstage: ROV Tag Team Champions and ROV 6-Man Tag Team Champions Young Bucks are approached by McGuinness who tells them that they can have two championships but they will be expected to defend both championships in separate matches at premium events going forward starting at Field of Vegas!
Match #4: Jay Lethal defeated Keith Lee (accompanied by Shane Strickland)
- Lethal won again over Lee by cheating as he got the pinfall after Hail to the King while getting away with placing his feet on the ropes for extra leverage.
- Afterward, after Lethal had left, the VWO stormed the ring and took out both Lee and Strickland before again announcing that they now run ROV. But then, "Mr. ROV" Roderick Strong appeared and said he is back and he is challenging his former teammate and recent enemy Styles to a match at Field of Vegas! McGuinness appeared and made the Field of Vegas main event official- Strong vs Styles- in a match between the only 2 two-time ROV Champions!
