{Promoter's Note: This is my 995th consecutive day for posting fed results on this board.}
Ring of Vegas (ROV) ROV TV #173 August 25, Year 4 Sam's Town Las Vegas, NV
- commentators: Ian Riccaboni and Todd Keneley
Match #1: Chuck Taylor (accompanied by Beretta) defeated Keith Lee (accompanied by Shane Strickland) by DQ
- This match came to an end when the action spilled out side of the ring where Taylor inadvertently bumped into Strickland who responded by giving Taylor a JML DRIVER on the floor to draw the DQ.
Backstage: ROV Matchmaker Excalibur is with Bryan Danielson. Excalibur tells Danielson he has been in contact with the VWA and, after current VWA Champion Nigel McGuinness caused Danielson to lose his match last week against Tyler Black and since Danielson has recently defeated McGuinness at both High Rollers and at Tag Wars, the VWA has agreed to sanction a VWA Championship match between McGuinness and Danielson at Debauchery Before Dishonor!
Match #2: Roderick Strong defeated Eddie Kingston
- This grudge match between these two enemies was partly set up as a result of what happened in the main event last week on ROV TV where Kingston prevented Strong's attempt at interfering on behalf of his (Strong's) VWO teammate Tyler Black in Black's match against Danielson.
- Strong won via his STRONGHOLD.
- Afterward, a defeated Kingston admitted that tonight Strong was the better man and pointed out that Strong now has a 2-1 lead in their current feud as he (Kingston) defeated Strong at Double or Nothing but now has lost to Strong both in their last man standing match at High Rollers and in tonight's match. Kingston thus says he wants to defeat String not just once but twice and challenges Strong to a Best 2 out of 3 Falls match at Debauchery Before Dishonor. Strong scoffs but accepts Kingston's challenge!
Backstage: ROV Matchmaker Excalibur tells VWO leader Steve Corino that he canβt force Corino- also the Ring of Canada (ROC) General Manager- to grant PAC a title shot against the VWO's ROC Champion Kevin Steen but, since bot PAC and Steen are also on the ROV roster, he can and will book another non-title match between PAC and Steen at Debauchery Before Dishonor and perhaps this will help PAC earn his desired ROC Championship match sooner rather than later!
Match #3: Briscoes defeated VLW Tag Team Champions Motor City Machine Guns in a ROV Tag Team Championship #1 Contenders match
- The Briscoes, who have now gone 4-0 on ROV TV since the World Series of Vegas, won when Mark Briscoe pinned Alex Shelley via FROGGY BOW.
- As a result, the Briscoes have earned a match against the Young Bucks for the ROV Tag Team Championship at Debauchery Before Dishonor!
Ring of Vegas (ROV) Debauchery Before Dishonor September 5, Year 4 Sam's Town Las Vegas, Nevada 1. Tyler Black vs ROV Champion AJ Styles 2. Bryan Danielson vs VWA Champion Nigel McGuinness 3. Briscoes vs ROV Tag Team Champions Young Bucks 4. Christopher Daniels vs ROV TV Champion Jon Moxley 5. PAC vs ROC Champion Kevin Steen (non-title) 6. Eddie Kingston vs Roderick Strong (Best 2 out of 3 Falls) 7. Lee Moriarty vs Pure Champion Jonathan Gresham 10. Big Swole and Kris Statlander vs WOV Tag Team Champions Twisted Sisterz 11. more matches TBA
Match #4: ROV TV Champion Jon Moxley and Christopher Daniels defeated the VWO's ROV Champion and VLW Champion AJ Styles and Tyler Black
- Moxley and Daniels, who are fighting each other for Moxley's ROV TV Championship at Debauchery Before Dishonor, proved to have better chemistry in this match than VWO teammates Styles and Black, who are fighting each other for Styles's ROV Championship at Debauchery Before Dishonor when Moxley put away his enemy and former Shield tag team partner Black via One Hotter as Styles- who believes Black let him get fatigues in the King of the Ring of Vegas Finals before Black won the tournament to earn a ROV Championship match, stood on the apron and watched without making an attempted pin save.
- Afterward, Steve Corino had to arrive to settle down an irate Black as tonight's show came to an end.
End of Show.
