Backstage: Christopher Daniels is with Matt Sydal. Daniels says he was hoping to team with Scorpio Sky at the Doible Down but Sky has still not recovered from that postmatch attack upon him by Jay Lethal at The Era of Vegas Goes On, and On, and On, and On! - Tonight was the monthly title defense for the ROV TV Championship since Moxley is teaming with Eddie Kingston in the Double Down and thus unable to defend the ROV TV Championship this weekend.

Backstage: AJ Styles says when he first returned to ROV after being violently kicked out of the VWO his first target was to win the ROV 6-Man Tag Team Championship with his friends Anderson and Gallows but after two failed attempts it is now time to start giving receipts to the VWO. Styles challenges any member of the VWO to a match this weekend at the Double Down!

- Corino says he is assigning Castagnoli the match against Styles at the Double Down!
