It is now time for the start of Boiling Point- an appropriate name for a show here in Las Vegas where it has been up to 117 degrees the past few days.
Pre Show In the Ring: ROV matchmaker Nigel McGuinness told the audience that prior to the start of Boiling Point there would be 3 Pre Show matches mostly involving non-ROV talent who may be considered for a ROV contract.
Pre Show Match #1: Bobby Fish defeated BJ Whitmer
- Whitmer was in control for most of this match but Fish pulled out the victory via Fish Out of Water.
Pre Show Match #2: Matt Taven defeated QT Marshall
- good match with both participants scoring at least 4 pin/submission attempts and with the offense spaced pretty evenly throughout. Taven wins via ARM TRAP HEADLOCK DRIVER
Pre Show Match #3: ACH and TaDarius Thomas defeated C&C Wrestle Factory
- another good match, ACH and Thomas scored the impressive victory over a signed ROV tag team when ACH pinned Cedric Alexander via BIG BANG ATTACK
End of Pre Show. Boiling Point is next.

Ring of Vegas (ROV) Show #14: Boiling Point August 3rd, Year One Sam's Town Las Vegas, NV (First Half of show)
Match #1: Kevin Steen and El Generico defeated the Young Bucks
- upset at being ambushed in the ring on ROV TV to set up this match, Steen and Generico attacked the Bucks before the introductions were even finished to get Boiling Point off to a sizzling start
- Steen and Generico got the victory when Generico pinned Matt Jackson after a SPIKE BRAINBUSTER
Match #2: Mikey O'Shea (accompanied by Percy Pringle III) defeated Nick Madrid
- Madrid got off to a good start but O'Shea got the convincing victory after an IRISH CAR BOMB
Match #3: Willie Mack defeated James "Main Event" Morgan
- Mack got another quick victory over Morgan via a CHOCOLATE THUNDER BOMB
Match #4: Johnny Goodtime defeated Johnny Yuma
- for this matchup between two former tag team partners who they have faced before in tag matches in the SoCal area, PPrAy sat at ringside and enjoyed watching Yuma and Goodtime fight each other
- Goodtime go the win via Space Conflict from Beyond Pluto
- afterward, PPrAy entered the ring and attacked Goodtime. Yuma then seemed to go to the aid of Goodtime by fighting off both Pretty Peter Avalon and Ray Rosas and then came face to face with Goodtime. After staring at each other in confusion for a few seconds, Yuma and Goodtime once again started to fight each other and brawl to the back as PPrAy laughed hysterically.
Match #5: Bryan Danielson defeated Ryan Taylor
- Taylor, the SoCal Kid, put up a great effort scoring multiple pin/submission attempts against Danielson and surviving many submission attempts by Danielson until finally tapping out to CATTLE MUTILATION
{Promoter's Note: Ryan Taylor's PIN went all the way up to 10 before he finally lost the match}
- afterward, Danielson grabbed the microphone and put over Taylor by congratulating his performance/effort tonight and thanking him for the great match.
Intermission. Second Half posted next.

Promoter's Note: Ryan Taylor's PIN went all the way up to 10 before he finally lost the match Whoa! What a spirited effort from Ryan Taylor! A performance like that will surely do his ROV career no harm at all.

Ring of Vegas (ROV) Show #14: Boiling Point August 3rd, Year One Sam's Town Las Vegas, NV (Second Half of show, First Half is posted above)
Match #6: Rhino defeated Michael Elgin (accompanied by Truth Martini and the Hoopla Hotties) by DQ
- an awesome match to start off the second half but with an inconclusive finish. Rhino and Elgin were at war with each other in this contest due to Rhino's recent problems with his fellow House of Truth members. The match ended when the action spilled out of the ring and Elgin was DQd for hitting Rhino on the head with the Book of Truth. Martini afterward tried to talk to Rhino only to get chased to the back as it appears the issues between Rhino and the rest of the House of Truth are not yet over.
Match #7: ROV TV Champion Adam Pearce (accompanied by Truth Martini) defeated Davey Richards (accompanied by Eddie Edwards
- in a match of the year candidate, Rchards had Pearce in serious trouble and seemed poised to capture the ROV TV Championship until suddenly Pearce reversed a folding powerbomb and countered with a swinging neckbreaker and then his JUMPING PILEDRIVER to escape with his title.
{Promoter's Note: Pearce's PIN went all the way to 12 in this match but Richards was unable to score 1 more pin or submission- via his ANKLE LOCK finisher- that would have at that point automatically won the match and the ROV TV Championship for himself}
Match #8: ROV Tag Team Champions the Briscoes defeated Natural Selection (accompanied by Percy Pringle III and Mikey O'Shea)
- First Fall: a great fall which further made Boiling Point a must see show on either DVD or streaming, Briscoes won when Jay Briscoe pinned Brian Cage after a JAY DRILLER
- Second Fall: another overall evenly matched fall won, despite attempted interference against them by Wrestling's Greatest Tag Team- who also interfered against the Briscoes in their title defense against Future Shock at High Rollers back in June, by the Briscoes when Mark Briscoe pinned Shaun Ricker following DUAL SUPERKICKS
Match #9: ROV Champion Roderick Strong (accompanied by Truth Martini and the Hoopla Hotties) defeated Scorpio Sky (accompanied by 2 Cold Scorpio)
- Strong avenged his non-title loss to Sky last month at Planet Hollywood by making him tap out to the STRONG HOLD to retain the ROV CHampionship.
Match #10: Wrestling's Greatest Tag Team defeated Future Shock in a steel cage match
- this match, to end the feud between Future Shock and WGTT, was the first-ever steel cage match in ROV History!
- this match ended when Charlie Haas pinned a heavily bleeding Adam Cole after a superkick into German suplex performed in tandem with Shelton Benjamin.
- after being announced as the winners, WGTT were confronted by an angry Briscoes who said after WGTT (who have a title shot against the Briscoes at Debauchery Before Dishonor) tried to cause the Briscoes to lose the ROV Tag Team Championship both tonight in their match against Natural Selection and back in June in their match against Future Shock they (Briscoes) do not want to wait until Debauchery Before Dishonor to settle the score with WGTT and instead will do so tonight as WGTT is currently just where the Briscoes want them- trapped inside a cage! But, as the Briscoes rush forward and enter the steel cage door, Benjamin and Haas cowardly climb over the top of the cage to escape. As the Briscoes stand alone inside the steel cage and are cheered by the fans, Boiling Point comes to an end.
End of Show. See you in 2 days for the 30th episode of ROV TV!

Solid event in Boiling Point and Adam Pearce surviving that defense is stellar and Roderick Strong retaining is a bit of a shame. Too bad Nick Madrid lost his match versus Mikey O'Shea...

Boiling Point was a great show, Vegas, and I am looking forward to the DVD. The finish of the main event was great with Mark & Jay Briscoe trying to corner the WGTT in the cage. I was hoping for Davey Richards to beat Adam Pearce but give Pearce credit for surving a very close call. I was also hoping for Scorpio Sky to pull it out but Roderick Strong came away with a nice win. Danielson-Taylor sounded great and I imagine Taylor has a great future in ROV based on that performance.

Ring of Vegas (ROV) ROV TV, Episode #30 August 5th, Year One Las Vegas, NV
In the Ring: ROV matchmaker Nigel McGuinness
- McGuinness says congrats to the various ROV champions all of whom managed to retain their titles two days ago at Boiling Point but now it is time to determine who will next challenge for Roderick Strong's ROV Championship at Debauchery Before Dishonor.
- McGuinness says Strong's next title defense will come against one of 3 different wrestlers who he will introduce now:
- first, the wrestler who most recently lost to Strong but still has a .500 record against him- Scorpio Sky (2 Cold Scorpio accompanies Sky to the ring)
- second, a wrestler who has been on a roll lately with 2 very impressively quick victories at both Planet Hollywood and Boiling Point- Willie Mack
- third, the wrestler who very nearly won the ROV TV championship in a classic match at Boiling Point- Davey Richards (Eddie Edwards accompanies Richards to the ring)
- in addition, Nigel says all 3 of these wrestlers (Sky, Mack, and Richards) will be the first 3 wrestlers announced as competitors in next month's Survival of the Sinners with the winner of that 12 man competition challenging for the ROV Championship at Glory by Vegas!
- Nigel finishes by saying that next week on ROV TV in the main event Sky, Mack, and Richards will wrestle in a triple threat with the winner receiving a title shot at Debauchery Before Dishonor!
Match #1: Ryan Taylor defeated Cedric the Hitman
- previously having trouble making it on ROV TV, following his unsuccessful but highly impressive match against Bryan Danielson at Boiling Point, Taylor 2 days later received the first match on the following episode of ROV TV
- Taylor followed his Boiling Point match vs Danielson by winning this match convincingly after 2 consecutive PERFECT CIRCLES.
- afterward, Taylor said he hopes to get one of the other 9 spots in Survival of the Sinners.
Backstage: Veda Scott interviewing Bryan Danielson
- Scott asks Danieslon if he is disappointed not being included in the main event next week to determine the next challenger for the ROV Championship at Debauchery Before Dishonor and also asks if he expects to be included in Survival of the Sinners. Danielson surprises Veda by saying no to both questions and then says next week on ROV TV he is wrestling ROV's newest signing and afterward in the ring he will be making an important announcement regarding his ROV future.
- Danielson then turns to walk away as Veda tries to ask who is ROV's newest signing and what is this upcoming announcement by Danielson?
Match #2: Pretty Peter Avalon (accompanied by Ray Rosas) defeated Johnny Yuma
- thanks to a distraction from Rosas, Avalon won via MARTI-KNEES
- afterward, Rosas entered the ring to join Avalon in double teaming Yuma until Johnny Goodtime surprised everyone by running out to Yuma's aid to chase off PPrAy. But then Yuma and Goodtime stared at each other in the ring and started to brawl with each other all the way to the back as it appears that while they have common enemies they are not friends with each other like they were when they wrestled in some areas of SoCal.
Backstage: McGuinness says based off his impressive showing in the Pre Show 2 days ago at Boiling Point, the newest ROV signing is- ACH!
- McGuinness introduces ACH who makes his ROV debut next week on ROV TV in a match against Bryan Danielson!
Match #3: Kevin Steen, El Generico, and Nick Madrid defeated the Young Bucks and Mikey O'Shea
- Steen and Generico teamed up with Madrid against their respective Boiling Point opponents 2 days ago the Bucks and O'Shea.
- a good match that ended when Generico pinned O'Shea via a SPIKE BRAINBUSTER
Backstage: as Rhino is seen walking away after just talking to McGuinness about something on his way to the ring for tonight's main event, McGuinness turns to address Wrestling's Greatest Tag Team
- McGuinness tells WGTT that while indeed their match for the ROV Tag Team Championship is not until Debauchery Before Dishonor, he understands why the Briscoes tried to get their hands on WGTT (who have tried unsuccessfully to cost the Briscoes their belts at both High Rollers and at Boiling Point by interfering in their title defenses against Future Shock and Natural Selection respectfully) after Boiling Point ended. and McGuinness says while WGTT may have temporarily escaped the Briscoes by climbing out of the steel cage after defeating Future Shock while the Briscoes were entering the cage, the Briscoes will not have to wait until Debauchery Before Dishonor to get their hands on WGTT as they will be wrestling WGTT in singles matches on ROV TV starting next week! WGTT try to complain but to no avail as McGuinness walks away from them.
Show #15: Debauchery Before Dishonor (an IPPV) promo Saturday August 31, Year One 1. ROV Tag Team Champions the Briscoes vs Wrestling's Greatest Tag Team 2. more matches TBA
Show #16: Survival of the Sinners promo Saturday September 14, Year One available on VOD the next day participants: Scorpio Sky, Willie Mack, Davey Richards and 9 more TBA matchups and more TBA
Show #17: Glory by Vegas (an IPPV) promo Saturday October 5, Year One 1. Survival of the Sinners winner challenges for the ROV Champion 2. more matches TBA
Match #4: Michael Elgin (accompanied by Truth Martini and the Hoopla Hotties) defeated Rhino
- Martini accompanied Elgin but not Rhino to the ring for this match
- a great TV main event set up after Rhino defeated Elgin by DQ 2 days ago at Boiling Point. Elgin won this matchup via a stalling vertical suplex that involved Martini taking advantage of the no DQ rules by blatantly smacking Rhino in the head with the Book of Truth while Elgin held Rhino in the suplex position all in plain sight of the referee who due to the rules stipulation of this matchup had no choice but to make the resulting 3 count and award the match to Elgin.
- afterward, Martini told a still downed Rhino that he is fired from the House of Truth and since he (Martini) inserted an exclusivity clause in Rhino's contract that means Rhino is also fired from Ring of Vegas! as an angry recovering Rhino chases a scared Martini to the back, this show comes to an end.
End of Show. See you next week for the next episode of ROV TV!
