It is now time for the final episode of ROV TV before ROV's 2nd anniversary show The Era of Vegas Continues this weeeknd!
Ring of Vegas (ROV) ROV TV Episode #49 January 20th, Year Two Las Vegas, NV
In the Ring: ROV matchmaker Nigel McGuinness formally introduces new ROV TV Champion Willie Mack who won the title from Scorpio Sky at Last Vegas!
- after congratulating Willie on his title defense Nigel informs him he (Willie) will not be defending the ROV TV Championship this Friday at ROV's 2nd anniversary show The Era of Vegas Continues but instead will be defending the ROV TV Championship on the 2 hour special ROV TV #50 next week against the winner of a battle royal at The Era of Vegas Continues!
Match #1: PPrAy (accompanied by Johnny Yuma) defeated Sleazy Goodtime (accompanied by Matt Taven, Truth Martini, and the Hoopla Hotties)
- 4 days before they along with Yuma take on their enemies the House of Truth's Sleazy Goodtime and Taven in a 6 man tag elimination match at The Era of Vegas Continues, PPrAy got the victory tonight when Ray Rosas pinned Joey Ryan after ROSAS R RED
Backstage: Young Bucks walk by Los Banditos who laugh and mock their pre-match posing routine. The Bucks then confront the Banditos who inform them they have a tag match against each other at The Era of Vegas Continues!
Match #2: Shaun Ricker (accompanied by Brian Cage, Percy Pringle III, and Mikey O'Shea) defeated Davey Richards (accompanied by Eddie Edwards)

- along with Cage's victory over Eddie last week on ROV TV, Natural Selection has 2 singles victories in 2 weeks over the ROV Tag Team Champions American Wolves. Will these two recent victories by Cage and Ricker translate into a tag team victory over the Wolves to become the new ROV Tag Team Champions at The Era of Vegas Continues this Friday?
Backstage: Adam Cole tells Nigel how upset he is that his former Future Shock tag team partner and now enemy Kyle O'Reilly last week on ROV TV cost him a ROV Championship match at The Era pf Vegas Continues. Nigle says he can not change the referee's ruling but he can grant Cole another match against Kyle at The Era of Vegas Continues and Cole gladly accepts this offer.
On Tap with James Morgan:
James "Main Event" Morgan says at The Era of Vegas Continues he will win the battle royal for a ROV TV Championship match against current champion Willie Mack next week on ROV TV #50. Morgan then said he has been informed that all of the other participants in the battle royal need to come to the ring and soon the ring is filled with:
James "Main Event" Morgan Mikey O'Shea ACH Ryan Taylor Terex Cedric Alexander Caprice Coleman Pinky Manimal Hobo Cedric the Hitman Nick Madrid Tadarius Thomas
- the ROV TV announcers then wonder aloud which of these 13 men will win the battle royal at The Era of Vegas Continues for a ROV TV championship match next week on ROV TV #50
Match #3: The Scorpios and the Tribe defeated the Briscoes and Kevin Steen and El Generico
- this match featured the Scorpios and the Tribe teaming up against their upcoming respective opponents the Briscoes and Steen and Generico at The Era of Vegas Continues.

Match #4: ROV Champion Roderick Strong and Michael Elgin (both accompanied by Truth Martini and the Hoopla Hotties) defeated Adam Pearce and Rob Van Dam
- this match pitted Strong and Elgin against their upcoming respective opponents Pearce and RVD at The Era of Vegas Continues
- this match ended when Strong pinned Pearce via End of Heartache after Martini hit Pearce with the Book of Truth. THE ROV TV announcers wonder aloud, will the result in 4 days at The Era of Vegas Continues be the same as tonight and the same as at Last Vegas with Roderick picking up a victory over Pearce and thus retaining the ROV Championship?

It's great to see ROV back. I'm looking forward to the two hour show #50, especially Pearce & Van Dam vs. Strong & Taven. The Era of Vegas Continues was a solid show all round and once again Roderick Strong comes out on top. He is really having a great run as champion. It was great to see The Tribe over Steen & Generico and the American Wolves vs. Natural Selection was an epic battle.

Finally, during the breaks as I watch the Seahawks-Colts, it is time for the start of the 2 hour special of ROV TV #50!
Ring of Vegas (ROV) ROV TV Episode #50 January 27th, Year Two Las Vegas, NV (First Half of show
In the Ring: ROV matchmaker Nigel McGuinness thanks all the ROV fans for allowing them through their support to reach tonight the milestone of 50 episodes of ROV TV and says Show #21 (currently unnamed) will take place at the end of February with Shows #22-25 all in March being the second annual King of the Ring of Vegas!
Match #1: PPrAy (accompanied by Johnny Yuma) defeated Sleazy Goodtime (accompanied by Truth Martini and the Hoopla Hotties) by DQ
- in another match in the ongoing feud between Yuma and PPrAy against Sleazy Goodtime, this match ended in DQ when Sleazy Goodtime's fellow House of Truth member Michael Elgin suddenly appeared and took out Pretty Peter Avalon as he was brawling with Johnny Goodtime. As Ray Rosas and Yuma helped Avalon to the back, Elgin stayed in the ring for his match scheduled next.
Match #2: Michael Elgin (accompanied by Truth Martini and the Hoopla Hotties) defeated Nick Madrid
- Madrid got in some great offense early including an impressive Northern Lights suplex against Elgin. However, Elfin, coming off an impressive victory over Rob Van Dam at The Era of Vegas Continues, battled back to win via his SPINNING SIT-OUT POWERBOMB.
- afterward, Martini declared that Elgin with his recent winning streak should get a ROV TV Championship match and is thus putting the winner of tonight's ROV TV Championship match between ROV TV Champion Willie Mack and Terex on notice.
Backstage: Veda Scott is interviewing someone who looks familiar but not a regular in Ring of Vegas
- Scott: "I have been told you have something to say. Who are you and what do you have to say?"
- interviewee: "My name is R.D. Evans and I have been retained as legal counsel for the House of Truth. And my job is to ensure that Nigel McGuinness and other ROV officials do not abuse their authority in any way against the interests of the House of Truth and to make sure, as they say here in Las Vegas, the House always wins."
Match #3: ACH and Ryan Taylor defeated Los Banditos
- a really good match that ended with the Banditos in control until suddenly the Young Bucks (who lost to the Banditos at The Era of Vegas Continues) suddenly appeared and got away with giving Tito Escondido stereo superkicks (Early Onset Alzheimers) and Ryan Taylor (who did not notice the Bucks interfering) proceeded to hit a downed Escondido with PERFECT CIRCLE for the victory.
- as they get their hands raised in victory, the ROV TV announcers wonder aloud whether ACH and Ryan Taylor will be teaming up again in the future?
Backstage: C&C Wrestle Factory wish the Scorpios good luck in their match coming up next
Match #4: Adam Cole and the Scorpios defeated Kyle O'Reilly and the Young Bucks
- this 6 man tag match ended when Cole (who defeated his current enemy and former Future Shock tag team partner Kyle O'Reilly at both Last Vegas and at The Era of Vegas Continues) again picked up a victory over O'Reilly as he got the win for his team by pinning O'Reilly with the FLORIDA KEY.
End of First Half. Second Half posted later (either tonight after football or tomorrow after work.)

Ring of Vegas (ROV) ROV TV Episode #50 January 27th, Year Two Las Vegas, NV (Second Half of show, First Half is posted above)
Match #5: Natural Selection (accompanied by Percy Pringle III and Mikey O'Shea) defeated ROV Tag Team Champions American Wolves in a non-title match)
- this non-title match ended when Brian Cage (who was blamed by Shaun Ricker for getting Natural Selection DQd and possibly costing them the ROV Tag Team Championship last weekend at The Era of Vegas Continues) scored the victory for Natural Selection by pinning Davey Richards via WEAPON X.
- afterward, it appeared Richards was injured and he had to be helped to the back by Edwards
- also afterward, Pringle III said as far as he is concerned tonight's victory over the ROV Tag Team Champions earns Natural Selection another ROV Tag Team Championship match
On Tap with James Morgan: James "Main Event" Morgan with ROV matchmaker Nigel McGuinness
- McGuinness says he has some information about the upcoming second annual King of the Ring of Vegas:
- first the month of March will be tournament month in Vegas with Combat Vegas Wrestling having its annual Best of the Best tournament followed by Lachikaras Vegas having its annual King of Trios tournament followed by Ring of Vegas having its annual King of the Ring of Vegas tournament.
- McGuinness then gives the breakdown of the second annual King of the Ring of Vegas tournament:
64 wrestlers: 42 ROV participants, 11 Lachikaras Vegas participants, and 11 Combat Vegas Wrestling participants
- McGuinness finishes by saying the participants and more information for the second annual King of the Ring of Vegas will be announced in the coming weeks
Match #6: Briscoes defeated Kevin Steen and El Generico
- this match ended when Mark Briscoe pinned a surprised Steen with a small package after rebounding off the ropes of which he was thrown into by Steen
- afterward, Steen (who previously blamed Generico for their recent tag losses to Natural Selection and The Tribe at Last Vegas and The Era of Vegas Continues respectively) again blamed Generico for them losing this tag match even though Steen was pinned in all 3 of these matches and despite Generico making a pin save for Steen earlier in this match
Backstage: McGuinness runs into the House of Truth's Truth Martini, ROV Champion Roderick Strong, Matt Taven, Hoopla Hotties Jessie McKay and Courtney Rush, and new House of Truth counselor R.D. Evans on their way to the ring for the next match
- McGuinness says he is not happy how Strong retained the ROV Championship against Adam Pearce thanks to interference from Michael Elgin at The Era of Vegas Continues and says, if Pearce is able to pin Strong in tonight's tag match or unless Strong manages to pin Pearce in tonight's tag match, he is considering giving Pearce another ROV Championship match against Strong at the February show- but this time inside a steel cage to prevent more outside interference from House of Truth members!
Match #7: ROV Champion Roderick Strong and Matt Taven (both accompanied by Truth Martini, R.D. Evans, and Hoopla Hotties Jessie McKay and Courtney Rush) defeated Adam Pearce and Rob Van Dam
- during this match, whenever Pearce and Strong were in the ring together, Pearce battered Strong around the ring and Strong made desperation tags to Taven. The end came when Taven got away with giving RVD an ARM TRAP HEADLOCK DRIVER right on top of the Book of Truth and then tagged in Strong who immediately managed to force a stunned RVD into tapping out to the STRONG HOLD
- afterward the ROV TV announcers wondered aloud what this result means for a possible Pearce-Strong ROV Championship match inside a steel cage as Pearce was unable to pin Strong but at the same time Strong was unable to pin Pearce.
Backstage: Hobo and Manimal walk up to the Tribe
- Hobo says neither one of their two tag teams got a match tonight so he is challenging the Tribe to a tag match next week on ROV TV #51!
Match #8: ROV TV Champion Willie Mack defeated Terex
- ROV TV #50 concluded with this ROV TV Championship match
- Mack retained when he pinned Terex after an MDX.
End of Show
