American Wolves vs. ReDRagon at High Rollers, awesome. The Wolves suffering the upset loss to the Best Friends on episode #69 could affect them going into the big title match. I'm also really looking forward to AJ styles going against Roderick Strong for the ROV title.

with just 5 days to go until High Rollers, it is now time for this week's edition of ROVTV!
Ring of Vegas (ROV) ROV TV Episode #70 June 23rd, Year Two Las Vegas, NV
Match #1: Inner City Machine Guns defeated Sleazy Truth (accompanied by Truth Martini and the Hoopla Hotties,) Adrenaline Rush, and T and T in an elimination tag match.
- the winner of this match, involving the 4 tag teams who lost in the first round of the ROV Tag Team Championship #1 contender's tournament, got the last spot in the 4 way tag elimination #1 contender's match at High Rollers involving the 3 tag teams that lost in either the semi-finals or finals of the tournament
- Adrenaline Rush was eliminated when Ryan Taylor pinned TaDarius Thomas via PERFECT CIRCLE and ACH failed to make the pin save in time
- Sleazy Truth was eliminated when Ryan Taylor pinned Matt Taven via a deathjump. At this point, Ryan Taylor was clearly on fire and the crowd responded with loud repeated chants of "Ryan Taylor!"
- as this match started to resume, under directions from Martini, Joey Ryan gave a still dazed Taven a WALK-OFF and then along with Martini and the Hoopla Hotties proceeded to abandon Taven in the ring alone
- T and T was eliminated when Rich Swann pinned Ryan Taylor via his CHICKEN FRIED DRIVER
-as a result, ICMGs win this match to join the Young Bucks, Best Friends, and C&C Wrestle Factory in the 4 way tag elimination #1 contender's match at High Rollers!
Backstage: Veda Scott asks Martini about what just happened in the ring with Taven. Martini responds it is his vision that the House of Truth will soon hold all of the gold in ROV which, in addition to ROV Champion Roderick Strong retaining over AJ Styles at High Rollers and ROV TV Champion Michael Elgin retaining over Anthony Nese at High Rollers, required the Sleazy Truth to win the #1 tag team contender's spot at High Rollers which will not happen now as a result of their loss in the opening match tonight. Martini continues by saying that since Taven suffered the pinfall loss tonight then he is clearly the weak link in the HOT and thus Taven's services are no longer needed. Martini then leaves followed by Joey Ryan and the Hoopla Hotties.
Match #2: Trent Barreta (accompanied by Chuck Taylor) defeated ROV Tag Team Champion Eddie Edwards (accompanied by Davey Richards)
- this match was requested by Edwards after he suffered the pinfall loss to Barreta in a rare tag team defeat for the American Wolves in a non-title match against Best Friends last week on ROV TV
- for this match, reDRagon, who last week on ROV TV won the finals of the ROV Tag Team Championship #1 contender's tournament to win a ROV Tag Team Championship match against their enemies the Wolves at High Rollers, provided guest commentary
- this match ended when, due to interference from redDRagon, who left the commentary table to distract Edwards and Richards, Barreta pinned Edwards via CRADLE BELLY-TO-BELLY SUPLEX.
- with Edwards losing tonight and with their tag loss last week, will this current lack of momentum by the American Wolves play a role when they defend the ROV Tag Team Championship against reDRagon this weekend at High Rollers?
Backstage: an angry TaDarius Thomas once again blames their recent problems such as losing tonight's opening match on ACH and tells him they as Adrenaline Rush are through as a tag team.
Match #3: Adam Cole and Anthony Nese (accompanied by Larry Dallas and Su Yung) defeated ROV Champion Roderick Strong and ROV TV Champion Michal Elgin (both accompanied by Truth Martini and the Hoopla Hotties)
- before this match started, Johnny Gargano appeared to tell Cole he is accepting Cole's previously issued open challenge for a match at High Rollers!
- this was a great match which ended when Strong and Elgin due to miscommunication bumped into each other and Nese then pinned a distracted Elgin (who Nese is challenging for the ROV TV Championship at High Rollers) via his REVERSE PILEDRIVER
- afterward, an angry Strong and Elgin exchanged words and shoves in the center of the ring before Martini got between them to act as the peacemaker as the HOT- which already kicked out Taven earlier tonight- tries to stop from imploding on the eve of title defense by Strong and Elgin this weekend at High Rollers.
Backstage: ROV matchmaker Nigel McGuinness asks David Marquez if he has decided on a CWFV match to add to High Rollers and Marquez says yes- Vegas Champion Adam Pearce and Vegas Tag Team Champion RockNES Monsters vs Willie Mack and the Tribe!
Show #32: High Rollers June 28th Sam's Town Las Vegas, Nv 1. AJ Styles vs ROV Champion Roderick Strong 2. "The Macho Man" Randy Savage vs The Greatest Man That Ever Lived" Austin Aries 3. El Generico vs Kevin Steen in a chain match 4. Anthony Nese vs ROV TV Champion Michael Elgin 5. ROV Tag Team Champions American Wolves vs reDRagon 6. Vegas Champion Adam Pearce and Vegas Tag Team Champions RockNES Monsters vs Willie Mack and the Tribe 7. Tommaso Ciampa vs Chris Hero 8. Adam Cole vs Johnny Gargano 9. Best Friends vs Young Bucks vs C&C Wrestle Factory vs Inner City Machine Guns in an elimination tag #1 contender's match more matches TBA
Match #4: Kevin Steen (accompanied by vOodOo kAos) defeated El Generico
- in this grudge and tune up match to their chain match against each other at High Rollers, Steen won via his PACKAGE PILEDRIVER
- afterward, Steen and kAos attempted to take out Generico with Steen's chain but AR Fox, Tommaso Ciampa, and C&C Wrestle Factory made the save.
End of Show. See you this weekend for High Rollers!

It's now time for High Rollers!
Ring of Vegas (ROV) Show #32: High Rollers June 28th, Year Two Sam's Town Las Vegas, NV (First Half of show)
Preshow Match: AR Fox defeated ACH
- this match ended when TaDarius Thomas, ACH's former tag team partner, suddenly appeared at ringside and distracted ACH leading to Fox winning via LO MEIN PAIN
Match #1: Young Bucks defeated Best Friends, C&C Wrestle Factory, and Inner City Machine Guns in an elimination tag #1 contender's match
- this match featured 4 tag teams recently eliminated from the ROV Tag Team Championship #1 Contender's Tournament who either made it to the semi-finals or who (ICMGs) won the 4 way elimination tag match involving the 4 first round losers of the tournament
- ICMGs eliminated when Chuck Taylor pinned Ricochet after a springboard moonsault
- C&C Wrestle Factory eliminated when Trent Baretta pinned Cedric Alexander via CRADLE BELLY-TO-BACK DRIVER
- Best Friends eliminated when Matt Jackson pinned Taylor after MORE BANG FOR YOUR BUCK
- as a result, the Young Bucks get a future ROV Tag Team Championship match!
Match #2: Johnny Gargano defeated Adam Cole
- Gargano won via GARGANO ESCAPE
- Cole, who had issued an open challenge that Gargano answered after he (Cole) lost a ROV TV Championship #1 contender's match to Anthony Nese on ROV TV, continued to look frustrated after losing this match too
Match #3: Willie Mack and the Tribe defeated Vegas Champion Adam Pearce and Vegas Tag Team Champions RockNES Monsters
-this was a matchup of two six man tag teams who had previously teamed up together two days ago in the first stage of the annual PP3 Cup ultimately won by Adam Pearce (who is also the current California Cup Champion in Lachikaras Vegas)
- this match ended when Navajo Warrior pinned Johnny Yuma after RESERVATION DEVESTATION
Match #4: ROV TV Champion Michael Elgin (accompanied by Truth Martini) defeated Anthony Nese (accompanied by Larry Dallas and Su Yung)
- this was the best match of the night so far which almost saw Elgin lose the ROV TV Championship when his fellow House of Truth member ROV Champion Roderick Strong (who Elgin has had recent issues with) suddenly appeared to offer mock encouragement to Elgin. Despite the unhelpful appearance from Strong, Elgin proceeded to win via his SINNING SIT-OUT POWERBOMB to retain the ROV TV Championship.
Match #5: El Generico defeated Kevin Steen (accompanied by vOodOo kAos) in a chain match
- despite Steen previously winning the right in getting to pick the stipulation for this grudge match, Generico prevailed by wrapping the chain around Steen's neck and then hitting him with the BRAINBUSTAAAHHH!!!
Intermission. Second Half posted next.

Ring of Vegas (ROV) Show #32: High Rollers June 28th, Year Two Sam's Town Las Vegas, NV (Second Half of show, First Half is posted above)
Match #6: Chris Hero defeated Tommaso Ciampa (accompanied by ROV matchmaker Nigel McGuinness) by DQ
- for this match, McGuinness accompanied his former enemy (and his opponent at last year's High Rollers) Ciampa against his current enemy Hero
- this heated match ended when the action spilled out of the ring where Ciampa was DQd for smashing Hero in the head with a steel chair despite McGuinness trying to prevent Ciamapa from hitting Hero with the chair
Match #7: Joey Ryan (accompanied by Truth Martini and the Hoopla Hotties) defeated Matt Taven
- in this matchup of former Sleazy Truth tag team partners, Ryan won via a spinebuster
In the Ring: Gavin Loudspeaker
- Loudspeaker reminds everyone that this year's annual Casino Royale Rumble will take place on Monday July 7th on ROV TV Episode #72!
Match #8: ROV Tag Team Champions American Wolves defeated reDRagon 2-0
- First Fall: Davey Richards made Bobby Fish tap out to his ANKLE LOCK. Wolves up 1-0.
- Second Fall: Eddie Edwards pinned Kyle O'Reilly via a tiger suplex. Wolves win 2-0 and are once again victorious against their rivals reDRagon.
Match #9: Randy "Macho Man" Savage defeated Austin Aries
- Savage won via his FLYING ELBOW DROP
- afterward, Savage told the fans he will see them at this year's Debauchery Before Dishonor!
Match #10: AJ Styles defeated ROV Champion Roderick Strong (accompanied by Truth Martini and the Hoopla Hotties)
- this match marked the ROV debut for Styles based on his renown for his time in Vegas Nonstop Action (VNA) as consistent with the theme established last year for High Rollers.
[Promoter's Note: Despite its attempts, Vegas Nonstop Action (VNA) is of course NOT part of the Vegas Universe.]
- perhaps in retaliation at Strong's blatant attempt to interfere in his own title defense earlier tonight (see First Half results,) Elgin appeared to offer mock encouragement to Strong leading to Martini and the Hotties guiding Elgin to the back and thus leaving nobody at ringside in Strong's corner.
- an epic match, Styles won via his STYLES CLASH.
- as a result, Styles wins the ROV Championship becoming just the 4th person (Castagnoli, Strong- twice, and Pearce) to hold the title!
End of Show.

High Rollers was a great show, Vegas, and it was cool to see AJ Styles win the ROV title from Roderick Strong in the main event. That was an interesting twist with Strong losing his corner support during the match. I'm looking forward to the return of Randy Savage as his match with Austin Aries was great I'm sure. American Wolves over reDRagon and El Generico over Kevin Steen were also highlights for me.

McGuinness also explains that if a current champion, however, wins the Casino Royale Rumble then he will not have to defend his title this month.
- McGuinness announces the 1st person for the rumble-new ROV Champion AJ Styles!
- in addition to Styles, McGuinness says all other current ROV and CWFH champions will be in the rumble which thus includes the American Wolves, Michael Elgin, Adam Pearce, and the RockNES Monsters.
- McGuinness announces last year's winner, Roderick Strong, will also be in the rumble
- in addition to Strong, McGuinness says all other wrestlers who fought but lost in title matches at High Rollers will be in the rumble and this thus includes Anthony Nese and reDRagon
- McGuinness then announced that, since he won King of the Ring of Vegas earlier this year, he is announcing himself as an entrant in the rumble!
- McGuinness then announced that all the wrestlers who also won matches at High Rollers this past weekend will be in the rumble which thus includes Chris Hero, El Generico, Johnny Gargano, Willie Mack, the Tribe, Joey Ryan, and the Young Bucks.
- McGuinness says that since one High Rollers winner, Randy Savage, is not contracted to appear again for ROV until Debauchery Before Dishonor, his spot by default goes to his High Rollers opponent Austin Aries
- McGuinness says that leaves 5 open ROV spots for the rumble which will go to the winners of tonight's matches with the final match again being a last chance battle royal involving all ROV wrestlers not yet entered into the rumble and the winner gets the last ROV spot in the Casino Royale Rumble!
- McGuinness then formally introduces new ROV Champion AJ Styles!
- Styles says he will defend the ROV Championship with honor and that 2 other former VNA veterans will be joining him at Souled Out- Bad Influence!

Backstage: an angry Roderick Strong tells Michael Elgin he blames him (Elgin) for losing the ROV Championship to Styles at High Rollers. Elgin responds that he only did to Strong what Strong tried to do to him (Elgin) in his match against Nese earlier in the night but that at least he managed to retain his title (the ROV TV Championship.) Truth Martini again jumps between Strong and Elgin to prevent them from fighting each other as Strong threatens to quit the House of Truth!
Match #2: Kevin Steen (accompanied by vOodOo kAos) defeated Tommaso Ciampa in a Casino Royale Rumble qualifying match
- Steen won via an F-CINQ to advance to the rumble while Ciampa has to try again in the last chance battle royal
Backstage: Hero tells his enemy McGuinness that his (McGuinness's) "hired gun" Ciampa knew he was beaten at High Rollers and thus opted for the coward's way out by hitting him with that chair to get DQd. Hero points out it now looks unlikely Ciampa will be in the Casino Royale Rumble but he is glad McGuinness decided to enter himself so he (Hero) can take pleasure in throwing him out over the top rope.
Match #3: Best Friends defeated Inner City Machine Guns in a Casino Royale Rumble qualifying match
- this match ended when Chuck Taylor pinned Rich Swann after AWFUL WAFFLE. Taylor and Trent Baretta thus advance to the Casino Royale Rumble.

High Rollers was a good show Vegas. Styles looks to be a run and could be hard to beat. Looking forward to Elgin v Strong down the road. Generico pulls out the win. Loved the commentary on Styles history. Unless they get a TV deal soon there could be more VNA talent coming your way.
