Match #1: Roderick Strong defeated Tommaso Ciampa in a qualifying match for next week's triple threat #1 contender's elimination match

- Still on strike from the House of Truth and thus without Truth Martini and the Hoopla Hotties in his corner, Strong nevertheless prevailed. Ciampa controlled most of the match until Strong got his feet up to block a deathjump from Ciampa. Strong then placed a grimacing Ciampa in the STRONG HOLD and got the victory.

- as a result, Strong gains a spot in the triple threat #1 contender's elimination match next week on ROV TV

Backstage: Kevin Steen, still mad at getting his head shaved at Border Wars, challenges Brutus Beefcake to a match next week on ROV TV!

Match #2: AR Fox defeated Austin Aries (accompanied by Larry Dallas and Su Yung in a qualifying match for next week's triple threat #1 contender's elimination match

- a great match, Fox won via LO MEIN PAIN and thus earned a spot in the triple threat #1 contender's elimination match next week on ROV TV

Backstage: MsChif is approached by Joey Ryan

-Joey Ryan: "MsChif, are you wearing space pants?"

- MsChif: "No, why did you think I might be wearing space pants?"

- Joey Ryan: "Because your pants make your a*s look out of this world."

- suddenly, Joey Ryan is confronted by Michael Elgin who is going out with MsChif.

- Elgin says he heard Ryan bragging to Evie that he can defeat him (Elgin) in a match and challenges Ryan to prove it in 2 weeks on ROV TV!

Match #3: Michael Elgin (accompanied by MsChif) defeated Johnny Gargano in a qualifying match for next week's triple threat #1 contender's elimination match

- Elgin joined his enemy Strong and Fox in winning a spot in next week's triple threat elimination match via his SPINNING SIT-OUT POWERBOMB.

I like the buildup for Elgin vs. Ryan. Space pants, that was a classic! Elgin will first have to deal with Strong and Fox in the three way which should be a good one. The lineup for DBD is looking solid.

Match #1: Davey Richards defeated Christopher Daniels and Rocky Romero

- 2 weeks after Richards defeated Frankie Kazarian and Alex Koslov and 1 week after Eddie Edwards defeated Daniels and Romero on ROV TV, Richards defeated both Daniels and Romero by making Daniels tap out to his ANKLE LOCK

- the American Wolves are now 3-0 in these triple threat matches involving them and single members of Daniels/Kazarian and Forever Hooligans, but will they also be successful when they defend the ROV Tag Team Championship against both of these tag teams in an elimination match at Debauchery Before Dishonor?

Backstage: Truth Martini with Adam Cole.

- Martini again points out to Cole how he has guided House of Truth members to the ROV Championship, ROV TV Championship, and now most recently the WOV Tag Team Championship with the Hoopla Hotties. Martini brags that the House of Truth could justifiably be called the House of Champions and again asks Cole if he wants to join the HOT but Cole does not commit to Martini's pitch.

Match #2: Austin Aries (accompanied by Larry Dallas and Su Yung) defeated Tommaso Ciampa and Johnny Gargano in an elimination #1 contender's ROV TV Championship match

- Ciampa pinned Gargano via PROJECT CIAMPA after repeated running knees in corner

- Aries pinned Ciampa via Heat Seeking Missile

- as a result, Aries gets the ROV TV Championship match at Debauchery Before Dishonor- but he will be challenging ROV TV Champion Anthony Nese who is also managed by Dallas.

Backstage: Joey Ryan assures his manager Truth Martini that he will have no problem defeating former fellow HOT member Michael Elgin next week on ROV TV.

Match #3: Kevin Steen (accompanied by vOodOo kAos) defeated Brutus Beefcake (accompanied by El Generico)

- Steen avenged getting his head shaved by Beefcake at Border Wars by winning this match via an F-CINQ. Afterward, Steen informed his enemy Generico that he has arranged for another match against each other at Debauchery Before Dishonor- but this time it will be a ladder match!

Congrats on reaching 7000 posts and also fifty pages for ROV. An awesome fed for sure and one of my favorites to follow. ROV TV #80 was solid and I liked Elgin topping Strong and Fox in the main event to get the title shot against AJ Styles at DBD. It will be interesting to see how Elgin does against Joey Ryan in their upcoming grudge match. Steen vs. Generico in a Ladder Match, sign me up for that one! Great stuff as always Vegas.
