Mount Rushmore (Roddy Strong, in particular) looks to be putting the entire roster on notice... Veda Scott is building herself a solid stable... And Cole is really firing on all cylinders since his return...
Looking forward to the Double Down... Fantastic start to a new year in Ring of Vegas!

Ring of Vegas (ROV) Show #44: The Era of Vegas Goes On and On! Sam's Town January 1, Year Three Sam's Town Las Vegas, NV (Second Half of show, First Half is posted above)
Match #6: Tommy End defeated ROV TV Champion Zack Sabre Jr.
- before this match started, Sabre Jr. and End observed the Code of Vegas
- in just his first title defense since winning the ROV TV Championship last month at Last Vegas, Sabre Jr. lost his title when Roderick Strong came out and distracted him and End, apparently unaware of Strong's presence, proceeded to put Sabre Jr. away via Nephilism.
- as a result, Tommy End is the new ROV TV Champion!
Backstage: Interviewed by Evie, McGuinness says he has invited from Championship Wrestling from Vegas the current Vegas Tag Team Champions RockNES Monsters to participate in the Double Down- but, unlike the ROV Tag Team Championship, the Vegas Tag Team Championship will not be on the line in the tournament.
Match #7: Drew Galloway defeated Roderick Strong
- Galloway got some revenge against Strong, who last year caused him to lose in his ROV Championship match against current champion AJ Styles, by getting the sudden pinfall victory after Strong missed a deathjump.
- afterward, a stunned Strong and his fellow Mount Rushmore partners the Young Bucks started attacking Galloway but a steel chair wielding Sabre Jr. made the save. Sabre Jr. then told Galloway he lost a championship tonight and would like to get another one and suggests he and Galloway go after the ROV Tag Team Championship by entering the Double Down together and Galloway agrees.
Match #8: ROV Tag Team Champions American Wolves defeated Young Bucks 2-1.
- before this match started, McGuinness announced that regardless of who leaves as the ROV Tag Team Champions tonight that both of these tag teams will be entrants in the Double Down.
- First Fall: Bucks looked great in this fall which they won when Nick Jackson pinned Eddie Edwards after the INDYTAKER, Bucks up 1-0 and looked like serious threats to end the now over one year reign of the American Wolves.
- Second Fall: a great fall, Edwards pinned Matt Jackson via a tiger suplex to tie it up at 1-1.
- Third/Final Fall: Edwards pinned Nick Jackson via DIE HARD as the Wolves win 2-1 to retain the ROV Tag Team Championship, but will they still be the champions after the Double Down?
Match #9: Diamond Dallas Page defeated Randy Savage in a falls count anywhere match
- this match was a war that spilled out of the ring and throughout the Sam's Town venue and even out into the casino itself! The match ended when DDP gave Savage a DIAMOND CUTTER on top of a blackjack table and caused the table to break. DDP then covered Savage for the pinfall victory.
- afterward, an exhausted DDP and Savage both returned to the ring and DDP held out his hand out of respect for Savage who accepted it. DDP and Savage then stunned everybody by saying they have decided to enter the Double Down together and go after the ROV Tag Team Championship!

The Era of Vegas Goes On and On was a great show from top to bottom. I think my favorite match was the American Wolves over the Young Bucks in the best of three falls match. DDP over Randy Savage was great as well and I am looking forward to them teaming up in the Double Down. I was pulling for Zack Sabre, Jr. to retain the ROV TV title but Tommy End had his number. However it was cool to see Sabre save Drew Galloway from Mt. Rushmore setting them up as a team in the Double Down. I also can't forget Galloway picking up a huge win over Roderick Strong in their match.

Ring of Vegas (ROV) ROV TV Episode #94 January 4th, Year Three Las Vegas, NV
- tonight's commentators: Excalibur and Chuck Taylor
In the Ring: per ROV tradition, whenever a championship changes hands, this show started off with ROV matchmaker Nigel McGuinness introducing a new champion- new ROV TV Champion Tommy End who just 3 days ago won the title from Zack Sabre Jr. at ROV's 2nd anniversary show The Era of Vegas Goes On and On!
- End appears and says he will defend the ROV TV Championship with honor and McGuinness tells him the next two ROV TV Championship matches will be scheduled to take place at the Double Down and at the upcoming Episode #100 of ROV TV- but then Roderick Strong suddenly appears!
- Strong says if it was not for him then End wouldn't be the ROV TV Champion and he demands to wrestle End in the ROV TV Championship match at the Double Down. End, who didn't see Strong's interference at The Era of Vegas Goes On and On!, says he doesn't know what Strong is talking about, however what he did see that night was Strong losing to Drew Galloway at The Era of Vegas Goes On and On! and thus questions if Strong really deserves a title shot.
- Strong responds by saying he guesses he has to knock some sense into End just like he did to Michael Elgin in their steel cage match at Last Vegas and suddenly nails an unsuspecting End with a SICK KICK and leaves him lying in the ring to ruin his formal introduction as a new champion.
Match #1: Paul London and Brian Kendrick defeated Christopher Daniels and Frankie Kazarian
- London pinned Kazarian via SHOOTING STAR PRESS
- afterward, McGuinness announced that both of these two tag teams have been entered into the Double Down!
Backstage: Chis Sabin, who just made his ROV debut at The Ear of Vegas Goes On and On!, approaches Matt Sydal. Sabin congrats Sydal for winning the ROV traditional open the show 4 way elimination match at The Era of Vegas Goes On and On! and suggest they reform their tag team Love Gun and enter the Double Down. Sydal agrees to reform Love Gun, a tag team they have appeared as together in other places, for the Double Down!
Match #2: Lance Hoyt (accompanied by Veda Scott and Tommaso Ciampa) defeated Biff Busick
- Hoyt, who had Veda Scott announced as his new manager at The Era of Vegas Goes On and On!, was also accompanied to the ring for this match by Ciampa who took Veda as his manager at Last Vegas.
- Hoyt won this match via a moonsault.
- afterward, Scott announced for the Double Down she is teaming up and entering "The American Psycho" Lance Hoyt with "The Sicilian Psycopath" Tommaso Ciampa together as The Psychos!
Match #3: Bryan Danielson defeated Joey Ryan (accompanied by Truth Martini and WOV Tag Team Champions the Hoopla Hotties)
- 2 days after losing to another HOT member Adam Cole at The Era of Vegas Goes On and On!, Danielson won a hard fought contest here by rolling up Ryan for the pinfall after a missed deathjump attempt.
- afterward, McGuinness appeared and said, while they won't be an entrant in the Double Down, the Hoopla Hotties (Courtney Rush and Jackie McKay) will defend the WOV Tag Team Championship in a non-tournament match on Night One of the Double Down!
Ring of Vegas (ROV) Show #45: The Double Down (Night One) February 5th, Year Three Sam's Town Las Vegas, NV 8 first round matches in a tournament for the ROV Tag Team Championship! participants: ROV Tag Team Champions American Wolves, Young Bucks, Diamond Dallas Page and Randy Savage, Kings of Wrestling, Vegas Tag Team Champions RockNES Monsters, Inner City Machine Guns, Drew Galloway and Zack Sabre Jr., Premiere Athlete Brand, Paul London and Brian Kendrick, Christopher Daniels and Frankie Kazarian, Love Gun (Chris Sabin and Matt Sydal,) The Psychos (Lance Hoyt and Tommaso Ciampa) and 4 more tag teams TBA 1. Ring of Vegas (ROV) Show #46: The Double Down (Night Two) February 6th, Year Three Sam's Town Las Vegas, NV 8 first round matches in a tournament for the ROV Tag Team Championship! participants: ROV Tag Team Champions American Wolves, Young Bucks, Diamond Dallas Page and Randy Savage, Kings of Wrestling, Vegas Tag Team Champions RockNES Monsters, Inner City Machine Guns, Drew Galloway and Zack Sabre Jr., Premiere Athlete Brand, and 8 more tag teams TBA 1. Double Down quarter-finals match 2. Double Down quarter-finals match 3. Double Down quarter-finals match 4. Double Down quarter-finals match 5. Double Down semi-finals match 6. Double Down semi-finals match 7. Double Down finals match 8. other matches TBA
Match #4: Drew Galloway and Zack Sabre Jr. defeated ROV Champion AJ Styles and Roderick Strong by DQ
- before this match even started, the heat was on as Strong, who cost Sabre Jr. the ROV TV Championship 3 days ago at The Era of Vegas Goes On and On!, entered the ring just to shove Sabre Jr. hard in the chest before fleeing the ring as Sabre Jr. yelled out "you're dead!" toward Strong.
- a tension filled match as both Galloway and Sabre Jr. have issues with Strong, the action often saw Strong tag in whenever Galloway or Sabre Jr. was in trouble but then tag out to Styles as soon as possible whenever Galloway or Sabre Jr. regained the offensive. The end of the match came when Galloway had Styles in trouble but the Young Bucks appeared and made the save for their fellow Mount Rushmore teammates Styles and Strong.
- afterward, all 4 members of Mount Rushmore stood in the ring and bragged that at the Double Down the Young Bucks will win the tournament to become the new ROV Tag Team Champions and if Tommy End is brave enough to give Strong the ROV TV Championship match at the Double Down then at the end of the two day tournament Mount Rushmore will hold all of the gold in Ring of Vegas.
End of Show.

Mount Rushmore made a big statement on this edition of ROV TV and have their sights set on the gold. Roderick Strong really stuck it to Tommy End at the show open so I imagine End will give him the TV title shot just to get him in the ring. I am enjoying the build to Double Down and Hoyt & Ciampa as The Psychos and Sabin & Sydal as Love Gun are great additions to the tournament.
