ROV matchmaker Nigel McGuinness has declared that the next WOV Tag Team Championship match involving current champions Hoopla Hotties (Jessie McKay and Courtney Rush) will be moved to Night 2 of the Double Down.
Thus in addition to the 4 quarter-finals, 2 semi-finals, and 1 finals matchup of the Double Down tag team tournament in which the ROV Tag Team Championship is defended throughout, Night 2 of the Double Down will also include 3 other title matches: a WOV Tag Team Championship match, a ROV TV Championship match, and a ROV Championship match!

- Love Gun got the victory over The Psychos when Matt Sydal put away Ciampa via Aftershock.
Backstage: Young Bucks approach ROV Tag Team Champions American Wolves
- the Bucks remind the Wolves that although they did lose the last two falls to them at The Era of Vegas Goes On and On, they did win the first fall of that match and, unlike a typical tag team championship match in the Vegas Universe where it is usually best 2 out of 3 falls, in the Double Down tournament all matches are only 1 fall even with the matches involving the ROV Tag Team Championship. The Young Bucks then told the Wolves they will again prove they can defeat them in 1 fall next week on ROV TV as they have a match scheduled against each other!
Match #3: Vegas Tag Team Champions RockNES Monsters defeated Kings of Wrestling (accompanied by Sara Del Rey) by DQ
- in another matchup involving two tag teams already announced for the Double Down, the KOW were DQd when Chris Hero was caught using his loaded elbow pad

- in this matchup of two of the tag teams participating in the Double Down, the PAB was DQd when the action spilled out of the ring and So Cal Val hit Kendrick with a steel chair
- as the referee awarded the match to London and Kendrick via DQ, Excalibur and Taylor comment that in the Double Down that a tag team will get eliminated if it gets DQd or counted out but they also wonder aloud what if this happens in a match involving the ROV Tag Team Champions since the ROV Tag Team Championship will be on the entire line throughout the entire tournament.
Backstage: ROV matchmaker Nigel McGuinness tells Bryan Danielson, Adam Cole, and El Generico they will have a triple threat match against each other on Night One of the Double Down with the winner getting a ROV Championship match against current champion AJ Styles on Night Two of the Double Down. Cole complains that since he has already defeated Danielson earlier this month at The Era of Vegas Goes On and On! and also defeated El Generico last week on ROV TV he should not have to defeat both of them again now at the same time in a triple threat match to get a deserved ROV Championship match, but Cole's complaint goes to no avail.

- Excalibur and Taylor point out that if the Wolves just lose 1 match in the Double Down, just as they lost tonight's match, they will lose the ROV Tag Team Championship. as Excalibur and Taylor wonder aloud how the Young Bucks will do at the Double Down, tonight's show comes to an end.
ROV TV never disappoints and the build to the Double Down has been exceptional. I am really looking forward to that event and who Johnny Gargano will be bringing in as his partner. It was very cool to see the Young Bucks hand the American Wolves a loss in non-title action thus putting pressure on the Wolves in the upcoming tournament. I also like the momentum building for Adam Cole and look forward to what he will do in the future in ROV.

McGuinness agrees to give End a match against Strong but refuses to award Strong his desired title shot based on his actions. Instead, McGuinness says next week on ROV TV it will be End vs Strong in a non-title Gambling Grounds match- if Strong wins he gets a title shot against End at the Double Down, but if Strong loses then he will not receive a ROV TV Championship match during End's current reign!

McGuinness says he has thus decided that in the Double Down all matches involving the ROV Tag Team Champions will be tornado matches!
