ROV returns 1 week following the epic Battle of Las Vegas!
Ring of Vegas (ROV) ROV TV Episode #106 April 1st, Year Three Las Vegas, NV
- commentators: Excalibur and Steve Corino
In the Ring: ROV matchmaker Nigel McGuinness
- McGuinness announces that there is going to be a new championship in Ring of Vegas- the ROV 6 Man Tag Team Championship and the tournament for this championship will begin at Double or Nothing!
- McGuinness says that Roppongi Vice, who won tha tag tournament at the Battle of Las Vegas, have decided to use their title shot over in the new ROV affiliate Ring of England so to determine which tag team gets the ROV Tag Team Championship match at Double or Nothing against the current champions Christopher Daniels and Frankie Kazarian he is making tonight's two tag team matches the first round of a #1 contender's tag team tournament!
- McGuinness introduces the Battle of Las Vegas singles winner ROV TV Champion Roderick Strong.
- Strong appears and calls himself "Mr. ROV" and brags about his accomplishments in ROV- the current TV Champion, the winner of the Battle of Las Vegas, the winner of Survival of the Sinners, the winner of the Casino Royale Rumble, the only wrestler to hold the ROV Championship twice and soon after Double or Nothing the only wrestler to hold the ROV Championship three times.
- Strong then complains to McGuinness about having to defend his ROV TV Championship against ROV Champion Adam Cole at Double or Nothing in a match for both titles as he said winning the Battle of Las Vegas means he won a title shot and not have to defend his current title in the same match.
- McGuinness tells Strong that he won a ROV Championship match but not necessarily the next ROV Championship match and that the ROV TV Championship will be defended at the next PPV so if Strong wants the chance to become the first-ever 3 time ROV Champion later this month then the ROV TV Championship must be defended as part of the process. McGuinness says in the future though whoever walks away with both titles at Double or Nothing will be defending both titles in separate matches on future monthly PPVs.
- Strong arrogantly agrees to the double or nothing title stipulation at Double or Nothing.
Match #1: Jay White defeated Flip Gordon
- before this match, which marked the ROV debuts for both White and Gordon, the Code of Vegas was observed
- White won via his KIWI KRUSHER
- afterward, McGuinness appeared and said he is looking to give this recent influx in new talent an immediate opportunity so at Double or Nothing White and Gordon will be 2 of the 4 participants in the Vegas traditional opening 4 way elimination match with the winner receiving a #1 contender's match for the ROV TV Championship!
Backstage: Marty Scurll is approached by one of his enemies AJ Styles.
- Styles tells Scurll that all his (Scurll's) friends in Euro Trash have left to go to either Ring of England or EVOLVEGAS and now he (Scurll) is all alone while he still has Roderick Strong left from Mount Rushmore even though the Young Bucks left for Ring of England.
- Scurll says he will find new friends but then suddenly gets jumped from behind by Strong who along with Styles gives Scurll a 2 on 1 beat down as it appears elements from the Euro Trash/Mount Rushmore feud persist despite most of the members of the two sides having departed Ring of Vegas.
Match #2: Hooligans defeated Love Gun in a ROV Tag Team Championship #1 Contender's first round match.
- a great match, Hooligans won when Pau London pinned Matt Sydal via a SHOOTING STAR PRESS as they look for a chance to regain the ROV Tag Team Championship
Backstage: Austin Aries and the All Night Express say they are the first entrants in the upcoming ROV 6 Man Tag Team Championship Tournament which begins at Double or Nothing!
Match #3: Pretty Boy Killers defeated American Wolves in a ROV Tag Team Championship #1 Contender's first round match.
- this match marked the ROV debut for the PBK
- the PBK won when Shane Taylor pinned Eddie Edwards via SENMETSU and thus got an impressive debut victory over the longest reinging ROV Tag Team Champions in the American Wolves
- as the PBK get their hands raised in victory, Excalibur and Corino remark that next week on ROV TV the PBK will certainly have the size advantage again when they wrestle the Hooligans for a ROV Tag Team Championship match at Double or Nothing.
Show #54: Double or Nothing April 27, Year 3 Sam's Town Las Vegas, NV 1. ROV TV Champion Roderick Strong vs ROV Champion Adam Cole (winner gets both championships) 2. winner of Hooligans/PBK vs ROV Tag Team Champions Christopher Daniels and Frankie Kazarian 3. Jay White vs Flip Gordon vs TBa vs TBA (Vegas traditional opening 4 way eliminaton match) 5. more matches TBA
Match #4: Jay Lethal defeated Bryan Danielson
- this match marked the ROV return of Lethal who had previously departed to wrestle in VNA.
- Lethal looked impressive and he defeated Danielson, who was one of the 3 finalists in the Battle of Las Vegas, via his LETHAL INJECTION.
- afterward, Lethal got on the microphone to thank Danielson for the match and say he is glad to be back in ROV.
End of Show.

Double Or Nothing is shaping up to be one helluva show... Hoping London and THE Brian Kendrick manage to capture some gold... And of course, I'm really looking forward to the Villain vs the Phenomenal One... Fun times!

Good to see ROV back up and running and I loved seeing "The Villain" get that non-title win over Roderick Strong. That was a cheap shot attack by AJ Styles afterward but it adds heat to Double or Nothing that is for sure.
