one day after the current ROV Champion was drafted to Ring of England- filsingergames.proboards.com/thread/19288/ring-england?page=3, the next episode of ROV TV!Ring of Vegas (ROV)ROV TV Episode #115
June 3rd, Year Three
Las Vegas, NV- commentators: Excalibur and Ian Riccaboni. Riccaboni comments that Excalibur is really tired after commenting for Ring of Canada in Toronto on Saturday, for Ring of England in London yesterday/Sunday, and now back here for Ring of Vegas in Las Vegas today.
Match #1: Jonathan Gresham defeated PJ Black- Excalibur and Riccaboni noted that this match represented Black's debut on ROV TV as ROV seeks to replenish some of its roster spots following the drafts picks selected by Ring of Canada (ROC) and Ring of England (ROE.)
- Gresham won via his OCTOPUS STRETCH
Backstage: ROV matchmaker Nigel McGuinness is with ROV 6 Man Tag Team Champions Kenny King and Rhett Titus. McGuinness tells King and Titus that since their fellow ROV 6 Man Tag Team Champion Ausin Aries just got drafted to Ring of Canada he has no choice but to vacate the ROV 6 Man Tag Team Championship and new champions will be determined at High Rollers in a match between SCU (who Aries and ANX defeated in the ROV 6 Man Tag Team Championship Tournament Finals) and the Kingdom as Vinny Marseglia and TK O'Ryan were the finalists in Tag Wars 2 weeks ago.
- Titus tells McGuinness he and King should at least have the right to compete against the Kingdom to be in that match at High Rollers and if they win then they can select a 3rd partner to compete against SCU at High Rollers to regain the ROV 6 Man Tag Team Championship.
- McGuinness agrees with Titus and makes the matchup of ANX vs the Kingdom next week on ROV TV for a spot in the ROV 6 Man Tag Team Championship match at High Rollers. King however argues with Titus and says they should not be giving up the ROV 6 Man Tag Team Championship at all as they have not been beaten for the title and walks out alone slamming the door behnd him.
Match #2: Jay White defeated Silas Young (accompanied by The Bouncers)- Young appeared to have this match won but then his enemy Dalton Castle (who Young attacked backstage last week on ROV TV) appeared and distracted him. Young ordered the Bouncers to chase off Castle but this incident allowed White to recover and he proceedd to win this match via his signature flatliner and deadlift German combo.
- Young looked furious afterward about losing this match.
In the Ring: McGuinness
- McGuinness says he is here now to address ROV Champion Adam Cole being drafted yeterday by Ring of England (ROE) and ROE's followup announcement that the ROV Championship will be defended next month at their Show #3.
- McGuinness says that before that next ROE show happens that the ROV PPV High Rollers is scheduled for the end of this month and he already took precautions by booking an ROV Championship match at High Rollers so if Cole does not defend the ROV Championship at High Rollers then he will contractually forfeit the ROV Championship!
- McGuinness says Cole's opponents at High Rollers will be:
- Bryan Danielson, since Cole cheated to retain against Danielson at Tag Wars
- Jerry Lynn, since Cole made Lynn a part of his matchup against Danielson at Tag Wars by attacking Lynn at the commentary table to distract Danielson
- and himself, Nigel McGuinness! McGuinness explains, while Ring of England is from his country of origin, professionally he serves the interest of Ring of Vegas and if Cole wants to take away the ROV Championship to England he will first have to get past him (McGuinness) personally at High Rollers!
Match #3: ROV Tag Team Champion Paul London (accompanied by ROV Tag Team Champion Brian Kendrick) defeated RUSH (accompanied by Bandido) - weeks before The Hooligans defend the ROV Tag Team Championship against RUSH and Bandido (the winners of this year's Tag Wars) at High Rollers, RUSH controlled the majority of this match but London managed a key reversal and hit his SHOOTING STAR PRESS for the victory
- afterward, Kendrick told RUSH they have a match against each other next week on ROV TV!
Backstage: El Generico, who yesterday just got drafted to Ring of Canada, approaches Jay Lethal who he competed with as 2 Macho Black Guys at Tag Wars. El Generico asks Lethal if he will be his opponent for his (Generico's) final ROV match at High Rollers and Lethal agrees.
Match #4: Marty Scurll defeated EVOLVEGAS Champion Drew Galloway in a non-title match- despite Galloway getting off to a quick start {due to a roll on the back of ring announcer Bobby Cruise's card for grudge matches,} this match went back and forth but Scurll won after getting away with a LOW BLOW on one of his enemies in The Summit.
- as a result, per match stipulation, Scurll receives a ROV TV Championship match against his enemy AJ Styles at High Rollers!
- afterward, Galloway's fellow members in The Summit (Styles and Roderick Strong) arrived to attack Scurll whose fellow Villain Enterpsie members (PCO and Brody King) arrived to back up Scurll. All 6 men brawled throughout the venue at Sam's Town until McGuinnessa arrived and said, in additon to Scurll challenging Styles for the ROV TV Championship at High Rollers, PCO and King will take on Strong and Galloway at High Rollers and to prevent yet another venue wide brawl between Villain Enterprises and the Summit it will be a steel cage match!
