Your fed continues to be one of the best ROH feds going. The way you present each show and carry forward storylines is second to none!
Great job on the last card and great build up for the upcoming card in Detroit.
Two thumbs way up!

Steen and Generico Pick Their Poison in Detroit!
During the DVD of Glory By Honor II, Nigel McGuinness announced that Kevin Steen and El Generico would face each other once again at Final Battle, but before that the two will participate in "Pick Your Poison" matches in Detroit.
Now what this means, is that Steen can pick Generico's opponent and Generico can pick Steen's. We've just learned today that the two matches have been set, and both men have picked massive roadblocks for one another.
El Generico picked Michael Elgin as Kevin Steen's opponent. Elgin is currently entangled in a bitter war with Truth Martini and the House of Truth, but has given Generico his word that Steen will have nothing short of a brutal night in Detroit.
Steen had a like minded pick, choosing Rhino for Generico. Steen says that he's paid Rhino to, "Get Generico out of his f--king life for good". Steen also said that since Generico will be dead after Detroit, that he wants a shot at the ROH World Championship at Final Battle.
Who will come out of these Pick Your Poison matches in one piece? Who will enter Final Battle with momentum? We'll find out in Detroit!

Card #19; "Under Attack": Detroit, MI:
[PRESHOW] We see Drake Younger arriving at the arena. He walks by the camera. The van he was in opens, and we see Sami Callihan leave the van with a baseball bat in hand.
1.) Michael Elgin beat Kevin Steen in 12:44 with the Elgin Bomb. [***] 2.) The All Night Express of Rhett Titus and Willie Mack beat Mike Mondo and Jay Lethal in 7:15 when Titus rolled up Mondo after Lethal shoved him. [*3/4] 3.) Bitter Friends, Stiffer Enemies Rematch: The Young Bucks of Nick and Matt Jackson beat Wrestling's Greatest Tag Team of Charlie Haas and Shelton Benjamin in 15:00 with More Bang For Your Buck on Haas. [***]
[BACKSTAGE] Adam Cole talks about his match with Homicide, saying he doesn't fear him. He calls Homicide a common street thug and says he's just as terrible of a wrestler as Eddie Edwards. Edwards approaches Cole and says he's sick of hearing Cole's mouth. Edwards says that he's got the next shot at the ROH Pure Championship at Final Battle.
4.) El Generico beat Rhino via disqualification at 6:18 when Kevin Steen attacked Generico. [**] 5.) TJ Perkins beat KUSHIDA in 8:03 with the Detonation Kick. [**1/4] 6.) Kyle O'Reilly beat Drew Gulak in 3:44 with a Guillotine Choke. [*1/2] 7.) ROH World Tag Team Championship: Laughter7 of Katsuyori Shibata and Kazushi Sakuraba beat Jay and Mark Briscoe (ch) in 9:19 when Shibata used the Penalty Kick on Mark to become the third champions. [****]
[INTERMISSION] Kevin Steen is in the basement of the arena. He says he wants Generico in an Anything Goes match at Final Battle. [INTERMISSION] Jay Lethal and Mike Mondo are brawling as security scrambles to separate the two. [INTERMISSION] Shibata and Sakuraba are shown in the back celebrating with the Japanese press after winning the ROH World Tag Team Championship. [INTERMISSION] Kyle O'Reilly is shown leaving the locker room. O'Reilly stops only to say he's taken out the University City Stretcher and at Final Battle, he's coming for the Samoan Submission Machine. [INTERMISSION] Nigel McGuinness is in his office ready to announce the ROH World Championship match for Final Battle when CZW referee Derek Sabato walks in and hands him an envelope. Sabato says he was given orders from DJ Hyde himself to deliver this challenge to ROH. Sabato leaves as Nigel opens the envelope. We see a clear look of concern on Nigel's face as intermission comes to a close.
8.) ROH Pure Wrestling Championship: Adam Cole with Mia Yim (ch) beat Homicide in 19:40 with the Panama Sunrise. Homicide used all three rope breaks. [***1/2] 9.) Glory By Honor Rematch: Roderick Strong with Truth Martini vs. Bryan Danielson went to a draw at 30:00 when the time limit expired. [***3/4] 10.) ROH World Championship: Davey Richards (ch) beat Drake Younger in 26:11 with the Ankle Lock. [****]
[POST MATCH] Sami Callihan attacks Davey Richards' leg with the baseball bat we saw him carrying earlier. He continues the attack until the Briscoes run in to make the save, but they're caught by DJ Hyde, Masada, Necro Butcher, Danny Havoc, AR Fox, Adam Cole, among other CZW stars. This leads to a huge ROH vs. CZW brawl to end the DVD.

The War Ends in Manhattan!
Last year at Final Battle, ROH held a four corner survival to showcase talent from Chikara, ROH, NWA Hollywood and CZW. We invited Sami Callihan to participate in the match. Despite being vocal about only competing in main event matches, Callihan showed up and dominated the match. Unfortunately, that wasn't the last we would see of Callihan that night.
Callihan lead a surge of CZW wrestlers into the ring after Davey Richards won the ROH World Championship, and with said surge of wrestlers proceeded to lay waste to the Ring of Honor roster. Since then, ROH and CZW have been entangled in a brutal war with one another and it seems the only terms CZW will agree to is that ROH fights their fight: The infamous Cage of Death.
The structure greatly varies from year to year, but one thing is certain: This is the most violent, or should we say Ultraviolent, match in wrestling history. Panes of glass, barbed wire, tables, thumbtacks and the like have all been seen throughout the years in this most gruesome of matches. Reluctantly, ROH has agreed to send five of our best into the cage to end this conflict once and for all.
On our last DVD release, "Under Attack", ROH Match Maker Nigel McGuinness was preparing to announce a blockbuster ROH World Championship match when he was given an envelope from CZW referee Derek Sabato. The letter contained the unthinkable. Nigel had a look of pure shock and horror on his face, and the announcement was made to the roster later that night.
When the locker room was notified of this match, ROH World Champion Davey Richards was the first to throw his name into the hat. Richards is as deeply entrenched in this war as anyone and despite a knee injury suffered at the hands of Sami Callihan, Richards has vowed to end the ROH vs. CZW war at Final Battle. Immediately thereafter, Homicide and The Briscoes gave their word that they would be members two through four for Team ROH. This left only one slot, and the man who would volunteer to be the fifth man would shock the entire wrestling world.
Roderick Strong. Roderick Strong has agreed to stand alongside four men that he dislikes in order to finish this feud once and for all. But on what grounds? Simple, according to Strong: He's had the most success against the CZW wrestlers. Davey, the Briscoes and Homicide lost the Anything Goes match back at Death Before Dishonor II, whereas Roderick defeated Greg Excellent that night. Roderick says this is what makes him the perfect fifth man for Team ROH.
CZW, on the other hand, didn't have to look far for five members. Obviously, the owner of CZW is the first member of the team. With him, he brings the man who started the entire ROH vs. CZW war: Sami Callihan. Also with Hyde comes Drake Younger, a man who specializes in deathmatches. In that same vein, Hyde has also brought Masada. Perhaps most shocking of all, Hyde has opted for a non-deathmatch wrestler in slot number five. Hyde has picked the acrobatic AR Fox as the fifth man for Team CZW.
The sides have been determined, the battle line is drawn. Who will survive this conflict, who will leave Final Battle with the victory? What will happen when ROH enters the Cage of Death?
Card #20: "Final Battle II: Cage of Death": Manhattan, NY (iPPV) Cage of Death: Team ROH of Davey Richards, Homicide, Roderick Strong, Jay and Mark Briscoe vs. Team CZW of Sami Callihan , DJ Hyde , Drake Younger , Masada and AR Fox

Die Hard Gets His Revenge, The Bucks Get a Golden Opportunity, Steen and Generico Look to Settle the Score, Elgin Gets Sid and O'Reilly looks to submit the Samoan Submission Machine at Final Battle!
Arguably the biggest Pure Championship defense to date has been signed for Final Battle...
It was on our second show of the year that Adam Cole turned on his former friend and mentor, "Die Hard" Eddie Edwards. He would leave Edwards laying, and we would not see "Die Hard" again until just a few shows ago. Edwards returned with one goal in mind: Capture the Pure Championship and send Adam Cole packing.
"Adam, you thought you got rid of me but you were wrong", Edwards said in a phone call with ROH. "He's got a lot to answer for in New York and I guarantee all the ROH fans that 'Die Hard' will make sure that this is Adam Cole's Final Battle."
Cole, on the other hand, sees things differently.
"Eddie, you just don't have what it takes to measure up to me. I'm the best wrestler in ROH, and you're going to find that out at Final Battle."
Speaking of long term rivalries, there's perhaps none that runs longer or deeper than El Generico and Kevin Steen's bitter rivalry. These two hate each other and have made it no secret, taking every chance they can to attempt to maim one another. Nigel McGuinness signed this match, a rematch from the first Final Battle, to hopefully settle the score once and for all. It's Steen vs. Generico II in Manhattan!
Truth Martini has spent the better part of this year attempting to take out "Unbreakable" Michael Elgin, hiring giants like Sid Justice and Mike Awesome in hopes that they would accomplish this task. Elgin disposed of Awesome, but is looking to take out the man from West Memphis. Elgin gets his shot at Sid at Final Battle.
Laughter7 of Katsuyori Shibata and Kazushi Sakuraba emerged on the scene as dominant as anyone ever has in Ring of Honor. They decisively beat Wrestling's Greatest Tag Team and The All Night Express en route to challenging the Briscoes for the ROH World Tag Team Championship at "Under Attack". While Dem Boys would put up a fight, the MMA crossovers would ultimately come out on top. At Final Battle, The Young Bucks get their second shot at the ROH World Tag Team Championship against Laughter7. Can the Bucks' high flying style trump the most dominating force in ROH?
Samoa Joe recently signed on as a full time member of the ROH roster and quickly issued an open challenge for Final Battle. A challenge that would be accepted by none other than Kyle O'Reilly. O'Reilly is confident that in Manhattan, he can submit the Samoan Submission Machine and derail any momentum Joe may be attempting to gain.
These are just a few of the huge matches signed for the biggest event in ROH history. Stay tuned for more match announcements as we head towards Final Battle II: Cage of Death!

Several Huge Matches Round Out the Biggest Card in ROH History!
It's just a matter of days away, ROH presents Final Battle II: Cage of Death. In addition to the huge Cage of Death main event that will see the ROH-CZW conflict brought to a very violent, bitter end, we'll see Adam Cole taking on "Die Hard" Eddie Edwards, El Generico and Kevin Steen look to settle the score once and for all and the Young Bucks look to dethrone new Tag Team Champions Laughter7.
But ROH announced the final matches to this huge, historic card just today. First up, The All Night Express will take on The Tribe in a match requested by the Tribe themselves. If you recall back at our debut in California, Rhett Titus engaged in...well, relations with The Tribe's manager Olivia. This doesn't sit well with The Tribe, and they look to gain some retribution in Manhattan.
Also, "American Dragon" Bryan Danielson has been in something of a slump lately in ROH competition. Danielson has said he will become the ROH World Champion, and looks to get back on the winning path in New York as he takes on "The Prodigy" Mike Bennett. This is a first time ever meeting, who will gain the victory in Manhattan?
In addition to those two matches, Jay Lethal will take on Shelton Benjamin in a highly anticipated match up. These two are two of the best athletes in Ring of Honor today. Benjamin's tag partner Charlie Haas was sidelined with an injury after ?Under Attack" in Detroit, can Benjamin take this setback and turn it into a successful singles career in ROH?
The Hammerstein Ballroom is no stranger to Extreme action, and at Final Battle three of the most extreme wrestlers in ROH will do battle in an Extreme Triple Threat Match. It will be Rhino, Steve Corino and Jimmy Jacobs in the same ring---with no rules! Who will leave this match in one piece?
TJ Perkins has been an exciting part of the ROH shows since his debut last year, but he hasn't quite hit his stride as far as picking up big wins goes. TJ looks to change all of that in Manhattan as he takes on NWA Hollywood's Scorpio Sky!
And finally, "Rainmaker" Kazuchika Okada made a huge statement back at Death Before Dishonor II, defeating TJ Perkins in a great contest. Okada has promised that next year will be his year but he will first return to ROH to take on Tommaso Ciampa! This is a big test for both Okada and Ciampa and one would think this will be a huge part in both men's journey to the ROH World Championship.
This is a huge twelve match card that you will not want to miss! Two of the three ROH Championships are at stake, several first time ever dream matches have been signed and the ROH-CZW conflict comes to a bloody, brutal, vile and violent end as ROH presents Final Battle II: Cage of Death!
Card #20: "Final Battle II: Cage of Death": Manhattan, NY (iPPV) Cage of Death: Team ROH of Davey Richards, Homicide, Roderick Strong, Jay and Mark Briscoe vs. Team CZW of Sami Callihan , DJ Hyde , Drake Younger , Masada and AR Fox ROH Pure Wrestling Championship: Adam Cole with Mia Yim (ch) vs. Eddie Edwards Grudge Match: El Generico vs. Kevin Steen ROH World Tag Team Championship: Laughter7 of Katsuyori Shibata and Kazushi Sakuraba (ch) vs. The Young Bucks of Nick and Matt Jackson Mike Bennett with Maria and Brutal Bob vs. Bryan Danielson Kyle O'Reilly vs. Samoa Joe Tommaso Ciampa vs. Kazuchika Okada Michael Elgin vs. Sid Justice with Truth Martini The All Night Express of Rhett Titus and Willie Mack vs. The Tribe of Navajo Warrior and Hawaiian Lion Jay Lethal vs. Shelton Benjamin Extreme Triple Threat Match: Rhino vs. Steve Corino vs. Jimmy Jacobs TJ Perkins vs. Scorpio Sky

Card #20: "Final Battle II: Cage of Death": Manhattan, NY (iPPV)
The show opens with a video showing Davey Richards' ROH World Championship win at Final Battle last year, followed by the attack from CZW. We then see several of the CZW promos promising to end ROH and finally we see the Cage of Death structure. This year's Cage encompasses the ringside area, is roughly 15 feet tall, and is equipped with barbed wire, tables, chairs, ladders, glass and more.
1.) Grudge Match: Kevin Steen beat El Generico in 19:19 with the Package Piledriver. [***1/2] -- A very good opening match that saw these two brawl all around the ringside area. Steen cut a promo before the match saying Nigel denied his request for an anything goes match, so he was going to show the world why he's Mr. Wrestling. Generico started off hot, tossing Steen through the ropes and hitting a big dive but after that, Steen took over and dominated pretty much the rest of the match. Generico attempted a brainbuster on the apron, but Steen got loose and hit the Package Piledriver on the apron to win the match. Generico was helped out by paramedics after the match.
[ROH Year Two Moment] Adam Cole turns on Eddie Edwards and defects to CZW! (Card #12, Hell Freezes Over)
2.) Jay Lethal beat Shelton Benjamin in 7:40 with the Lethal Injection. [**] -- Not a long match, but it was a very good showing for Lethal as he beat one half of a top tag team in decisive fashion. Benjamin, despite arguably being the better athlete, had a lot of trouble trying to do much of anything against Lethal.
3.) The All Night Express of Rhett Titus and Willie Mack beat The Tribe of Navajo Warrior and Hawaiian Lion in 16:15 when Mack used the Chocolate Thunder Bomb on Lion. [***] -- Olivia was at ringside and throughout the match, Titus was making lewd gestures towards her. Every time he did, The Tribe would attack him and throw him around the outside area. This would also nearly cost ANX the match as Hawaiian Lion rolled up Titus while he was focused on Olivia. After the match, Titus picked up Olivia and carried her to the back.
[ROH Year Two Moment] Kevin Steen and El Generico joined forces to rid ROH of Philly's Most Wanted in a Guerrilla Warfare Match! (Card #17, Guerrilla Warfare)
4.) Extreme Triple Threat Match: Rhino beat Steve Corino and Jimmy Jacobs in 9:55 with a Gore through a table to Corino. [**3/4] -- About what you would expect from this kind of a match. There were a lot of chair shots from Jacobs to Rhino and Corino, and as expected Corino bled buckets. Rhino hit Jacobs with a piledriver off the apron through a table, but Corino broke up the pin and the two ECW veterans brawled back into the ring where Rhino would Gore Corino through a table for the win.
[ROH Year Two Moment] Davey Richards defeated Drake Younger in a hard hitting clash for the ROH World Championship! (Card #19, Under Attack)
5.) TJ Perkins beat Scorpio Sky in 6:48 with the Detonation Kick. [**] -- Very fast paced match that ended just as they got going. Perkins, despite having a less than stellar win-loss record, is a huge fan favorite and people just hated Scorpio Sky. It was a really interesting contrast from having the usual "we love everyone" crowd that the show had to this point. Some neat stuff here, Perkins won and announced himself as the first entrant for next year's Survival of the Fittest tournament.
[ROH Year Two Moment] Sid Justice makes his ROH debut, and with help from The House of Truth, gets a less than honorable win against "Unbreakable" Michael Elgin! (Card #14, Bitter Friends, Stiffer Enemies)
6.) Michael Elgin beat Sid Justice with Truth Martini in 13:30 with the Elgin Bomb. [**3/4] -- They beat the crap out of each other here, and it was a very enjoyable match. Martini made his presence known, as usual, but Elgin shut down every attempt at interference. Sid would hit his Powerbomb, but Elgin kicked out at one and rallied his way to the biggest (literally) victory of his ROH career. After the match, he attacked Martini and laid him out with the Elgin Bomb.
[ROH Year Two Moment] "Rainmaker" Kazuchika Okada makes his ROH debut, defeating TJ Perkins in a great match in Toronto! (Card #15, Death Before Dishonor II)
7.) Kazuchika Okada beat Tommaso Ciampa in 14:19 with the Rainmaker. [***] -- Ciampa hasn't been seen in a little while, much less in a high profile match. He put up a more than admirable fight against New Japan's newest top star in the Rainmaker, but Okada proved to be too much. Ciampa kicked out of two Rainmakers before finally falling to a third. Ciampa uncharacteristically offered a handshake to Okada after the match, which Okada laughed off before leaving the ring.
[ROH Year Two Moment] For the first time ever, a no rope Barbed Wire match was contested in a ROH ring as The Briscoes beat DJ Hyde and Masada! (Card #18, Glory By Honor II: War of the Wire)
8.) Mike Bennett with Maria and Brutal Bob vs. Bryan Danielson went to a time limit draw at 20:00. [***1/4] -- Not surprisingly, this was one of the best matches of the night to this point. Bennett shocked the wrestling world as he hung in there with Bryan Danielson for a full twenty minutes. The fans were completely behind Danielson, and every time Danielson would build momentum, they would go insane. Bennett nearly won with the Photo Finish with 7 seconds left. Danielson asked for five more minutes after the match, but Bennett refused.
[ROH Year Two Moment] Laughter7 made their presence known in a big way, demolishing Charlie Haas and Shelton Benjamin in their ROH debut! (Card #16, Honor Takes Center Stage)
9.) ROH World Tag Team Championship: Laughter7 of Katsuyori Shibata and Kazushi Sakuraba (ch) beat The Young Bucks of Nick and Matt Jackson in 5:30 when Shibata used the Penalty Kick on Nick Jackson. [**] -- The Bucks were jumped during their entrance and had literally no chance of survival here. Shibata and Sakuraba dominated the only team in ROH history to receive two title matches, much less in one year's time. The Bucks were both laid out by the Penalty Kick before Shibata pinned Nick to secure Laughter7's first defense.
[ROH Year Two Moment] Samoa Joe and Magnus make their ROH debut against the Briscoes in a Match of the Year Candidate! (Card #14, Bitter Friends, Stiffer Enemies)
10.) Samoa Joe beat Kyle O'Reilly in 17:22 via ref stoppage when O'Reilly passed out in the rear naked choke. [****] -- This was a stiff, strong style match and to this point, was a good candidate for the show stealer. O'Reilly had arguably his best showing to date, nearly submitting the much larger Samoan with a couple of different leg submissions before finally targeting the neck, trying to put Joe out with the Guillotine Choke. When Joe was on offense, O'Reilly took a hell of a beating but refused to quit. Even when locked in the most dangerous submission in all of ROH, Kyle refused to quit, earning both Joe and the fans' respect in the process.
[ROH Year Two Moment] After months on the sidelines, "Die Hard" Eddie Edwards returns to ROH to confront Adam Cole! (Card #16, Honor Takes Center Stage)
11.) ROH Pure Wrestling Championship: Eddie Edwards beat Adam Cole with Mia Yim (ch) in 13:50 with Die Hard to become the third champion. Both men used all three rope breaks. [***1/4] -- A pretty predictable ending, sure, but this was a fantastic wrestling match that played up all of the rules the title has. Edwards forced Cole to use two rope breaks early to escape the Achilles lock, and Cole responded by making Edwards use his rope breaks to escape the figure four. With each only having one rope break, they allowed themselves to get worn down much easier so as to spare that third rope break. Edwards' went first, using the ropes to break a pin following the Florida Key. Cole used his third to escape another Achilles lock. Despite having his legs worked over, Cole still attempted the Panama Sunrise late in the match. Edwards would back body drop Cole off, hit a super kick and catch the champion with Die Hard to win the title.
[ROH Year Two Moment] Following a grueling match with El Generico, Davey Richards is attacked by the CZW Roster and the war was on! (Card #11, The First Anniversary Show)
12.) Cage of Death: Team ROH of Davey Richards, Homicide, Roderick Strong, Jay and Mark Briscoe beat Team CZW of Sami Callihan , DJ Hyde , Drake Younger , Masada and AR Fox at 49:52 when Richards used a shoot kick with a barbed wire wrapped chair on Callihan. [*****] Order of Entrance: - Davey Richards [ROH] and Drake Younger [CZW] start - Roderick Strong [ROH] enters at 5:00 - Masada [CZW] enters at 7:00 - Jay Briscoe [ROH] enters at 9:00 - AR Fox [CZW] enters at 11:00 - Mark Briscoe [ROH] enters at 13:00 - DJ Hyde [CZW] enters at 15:00 - Homicide [ROH] enters at 17:00 - Sami Callihan [CZW] enters at 19:00
This was every bit as violent as you would expect. Younger and Richards teed off on one another from the start, and when Strong entered the match the fans were looking forward to seeing Roddy and Richards co-exist. That lasted all of a minute as Strong hit Richards with a Sick Kick before abandoning him in the middle of the ring. Davey had to last nearly ten minutes on his own before Jay Briscoe came in to even things up. Some of the crazier spots in this match include a powerbomb from the cage to Richards from Masada that sent Davey through a table, and the Briscoes doing a Doomsday Device to DJ Hyde that saw him land, and fall through a pane of glass. As expected, Sami Callihan entered to huge heel heat and made a bee line for Richards. With CZW up 5-4, things weren't looking too good for ROH until Eddie Edwards made his way out and asked to be let in. The American Wolves reunited and took the fight to CZW. The war ended with Edwards placing a barbed wire chair in front of Sami Callihan, and allowing Richards to boot the chair to get the win. The ROH roster celebrated in the ring with Davey as the show came to a close.

ROH's Second Birthday Bash Headlined By the Biggest ROH World Title Match in History!
At the first Final Battle in Manhattan, Davey Richards defeated Roderick Strong in an all time classic match to become the ROH World Champion...
At Final Battle II, Davey Richards and ROH ended the war with CZW in a violent Cage of Death match in New York City. During the match, the unthinkable would happen and put ROH down at a 5-4 disadvantage...
The incident in question would be Roderick Strong turning on Davey Richards early in the match and leaving. Strong touted how great of an addition he would be to team ROH for this match, but it seems his only motive was to get at "The American Wolf". Turns out, he got just what he wanted.
Richards demanded this match with Strong, and as per an agreement Nigel McGuinness made with everyone involved in the ROH side for Cage of Death, Roderick was entitled to a Championship match of his choosing. Therefore, Roderick will get his rematch for the World Championship at the Second Anniversary Show in Rahway!
This is the biggest ROH World Championship match to date, the former World Champion gets a huge rematch with a man who has held the championship for a full year. Who will leave Rahway as Champion?
Card #21: "Second Anniversary Show": Rahway, NJ: Final Battle Rematch for the ROH World Championship: Davey Richards (ch) vs. Roderick Strong with Truth Martini
