Live shows Recap :

ROH Had an incredible weekend of action in the mid-west.
Adam Cole came away with his ROH TV TITLE after 2 title defenses.

Austin Aries made his ROH debut as a member of the House of Truth, winning both matches he had.

The HOT had a overall good weekend, but fell short in capturing the ROH Title as Truth Martini got Roderick Strong a DQ in his Title match with Kevin Steen.

Mikey Whipwreck made his first ROH appearances over this weekend to huge fan reactions.

The Team of the AMERICAN WOLVES won the chance to face S.C.U.M. for the ROH Tag Team Titles in February.

Shelton Benjamin suffered an injury during a tag match in Detroit and will be further examined this week.......It did not look good and first reports are calling it a ACL TEAR.

ROH TV UPDATE :

Rhett Titus comes out and runs down Adam Cole for "taking the Easy way out" during their TV Title match. Demands that the ROH officials give him a rematch....this time with a NO DQ stipulation!!

Nigel McGuinness come out and signs a Tag Team match for the February 16th show in Cincinnati, Ohio. It will be Adam Cole and a partner of his choice vs Rhett Titus and a partner of his choice.
He continues by signing a ROH WORLD TAG TEAM MATCH, it will be the American Wolves vs S.C.U.M on the 16th.
He also announces a triple threat match for the #1 Contenders spot at the ROH WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP.... it will be Michael Elgin vs Austin Aries vs ?

Kevin Steen is out with his S.C.U.M. stablemates......He talks about how the ROH World title will be his for a long time to come....
Steve Corino goes on to say that all the ROH Titles will belong to S.C.U.M!!

Live show Recap :

ROH had a great crowd in Cincinnati for its Live show.........

The Cole-Titus saga continued via tag team action, the action was brutal with both Cole and Titus taking a beating. 2 Cold Scorpio did his best to help Cole but in the end he got counted out of the ring after Joey Ryan knocked him out cold at ring side.

Tag Team Action was a plenty on this night as Masked Mayhem and Strong Style Thugs had one hell of a fight! Homicide and Eddie Kingston would get the win after a hard fought battle that took El Generico and Jigsaw to the limit.

In the #1 Contenders match, The crowd was fully behind the Bryan Danielson as he faced 2 members of the House of Truth..... Danielson was eliminated first by Austin Aries.......but he hung around ring side and actually helped Michael Elgin. Elgin got no help from Truth in this match as he favored Aries, Elgin had enough and knocked Truth Martini out......but Aries used this distraction to get the win and capture a future ROH World Title shot.

The Main Event saw S.C.U.M. face a tough challenge from the American Wolves of Edwards and Richards. The Wolves worked over Corino in this match, but he fought them off and got a pin fall on Edwards to keep the titles. Jimmy Jacobs did not see much action as the Wolves seemed happy with him out of the ring. Steve Corino was about to lose the match when Delirious came out of nowhere to turn the match around for S.C.U.M.

ROH announces a TOP PROSPECTS Tournament. It will feature 18 wrestlers in 3 brackets with each bracket winner getting an ROH Contract, plus ROH will award a Contract to 1 "WildCard" wrestler out of the 3 brackets. Each bracket winner will then have a 3 way elimination match with the winner getting a shot at the ROH TV TITLE.

The Top Prospect bracket matches will be shown on ROH TV and as dark matches at ROH Live shows and IPPV's .

A great tag match here as the Briscoes would work on Davey Richards and keep him in the ring for 90% of the match. It was a good idea but they still had a hard time getting the win. Richards took one hell of a beating but would kick out of each pin attempt or Edwards would jump in to help. The Action went to the floor several times and the fans were going nuts during the entire match. Jay got the pin after hitting a Somersault Plancha .
WINNERS : Briscoes via Somersault Plancha (9 to pin Rolled 5)


FINAL ROH MATCH for JERRY LYNN
JERRY LYNN *** vs BRYAN DANIELSON ****
A great back and forth match that had the fans on their feet. Every time it looked like Lynn would win Danielson would just get a shoulder up and the same with Lynn.......but Lynn would get a surprise win to the fans delight!!
WINNER : Lynn via Roll up off a missed Turnbuckle charge ( 5 to pin Rolled 4)

After the match Jerry Lynn got on the mic and thanked the ROH Wrestlers, Management and Fans for the way he has been treated. He and Danielson shared a Hug in the ring when the DARK MENACE comes to the top of the ramp and starts talking

DM : oh how sweet...... a has been and a never was making out in the ring...
Danielson gets a mic........
BD : This is all about HONOR, something you know nothing about.......

DM : I know all about Honor..... and how to CRUSH it........SHOW THEM GUYS!!
With that Corino, Jacobs, and Delirious come out of the crowd and attack Lynn and Danielson leaving them in a heap near the entrance ramp........


THE COLONY vs S.C.U.M w/ Dark Menace
Fire Ant, Solider Ant & Green Ant vs Steve Corino, Jimmy Jacobs and Delirious
A fast and mostly one sided match, but the Ants did get in a few trio moves that had the crowd cheering, but SCUM had control and got the win after Delirious would catch Fire Ant off guard.
WINNERS : S.C.U.M via Crossbody from the Top Rope (4 to pin Rolled 3)


GRUDGE MATCH
MICHAEL ELGIN ***** vs RHINO ****** w/ Martini
A wild match from the start as it was a fight between these two big men. Elgin got the early advantage and made several pin attempts that Truth would help break up. Rhino would then mount a comeback and would beat the hell out of Elgin but could not get the pin. Elgin withstood the attack and would again turn up the heat. He hit his Finisher and then dared Truth to enter the ring. Martini just backed off as Elgin got the 3 count and win.
WINNER : Elgin via SPINNING SITOUT POWERBOMB (8 to pin Rolled 7)


MAIN EVENT
ROH WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP
AUSTIN ARIES ***** w/ Martini vs (C)KEVIN STEEN w/ Dark Menace
A one sided match that saw Steen take it right to Aries. Steen had several near falls that Martini would help his wrestler get out of. In the end it was Truth Martini that would cause a DQ that finished this match. Truth Jumped on the Apron and would Argue with the referee......but he then tossed his "Book of Truth" into the ring causing the DQ. Even that back fired as Steen caught the book and planted it square over the head of Aries leaving him out cold in the center of the ring.
WINNER : Steen via DQ

"Anniversary" Recap

Rhett Titus has become the new ROH TV Champion, as Adam Cole suffered an undisclosed injury during the match.
Titus had the following comments :
"After chasing Cole down for months when i finally beat him he claims an injury"

Adam Cole could not be reached for comments.

After the attack by S.C.U.M , Brian Danielson has asked for a match with any SCUM Member.

After putting on a great teg match, Davey Richards will miss several weeks after snapping his ankle during the match.

Kevin Steen again defended his ROH WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP this time destroying Austin Aries and Truth Martini.
When asked about the match Steen said :
"It don't matter who they put against me....... I will be your Champion for a LONG , LONG TIME!!"

After we went off air several wrestlers got in to a altercation with members of S.C.U.M. , but at this time its still unclear who was involved.
