As expected, the confrontation between Steenerico and the Unbreakable F'n Machines seemed pretty brutal... And Martini's house cleaning session leads to the question - Who will appear in the NEW House of Truth?
Excellent show! Looking forward to what happens next...

ROH TV #85 February 7, 2015 Amsoil Arena, Duluth MN
War Machine vs The Briscoes Perfect choice for an opener. These four men just beat the ever loving crap out of each other and we enjoyed every minute of it. Nobody held anything back in this match. Jay and Hanson beat each other down, as did Mark and Rowe. Row even managed to survive DOUBLE FOOTBALL TACKLE, until Jay and Hanson took over again. They laid into each other until Jay got control and really took it to Hanson. JAY DRILLER after JAY DRILLER were hit, but Hanson kicked out everytime. Finally Mark got the tag and he too ran wild on Hanson for a bit longer before making the tag to Jay and together they planted Hanson into the mat with DOUBLE FOOTBALL TACKLE and picked up the victory.
Chris Hero vs Mike Bennett w/Maria Wow talk about an upset! Hero controlled Bennett for about a minute before Mike thumbed Hero in the eyes and went to work. 2 Prodigy Piledrivers and a back suplex were just a setup for what Bennett had next. With Hero totally out on his feet Bennett finally ended things with a BOX OFFICE SMASH and got the upset win!
Austin Aries vs AJ Styles This was also a fairly quick match. Aries and Styles know each other well from the previous time in ROH, but on this night it was Aries that dominated Styles. AJ seemed off his game tonight and Aries took full advantage of that. AJ did kick out of 2 BRAINBUSTERS, but was no match for a final 450 SPLASH.
Cedric Alexander vs Michael Elgin Elgin was in no mood to mess around. Alexander however had other ideas and for the first part of the match had control of Elgin. Whatever Elgin tried Cedric countered, and Elgin got more and more upset everytime. Eventually Cedric threw Elgin outside and followed him out which was a mistake. Elgin hit Cedric low and planted him through a nearby table with a powerbomb, getting DQed in the process.
We will see you next week for more action!

Surprised that The Prodigy pulled off the upset over Hero... Not good for The Knockout Artist... Impressive job by Aries, gaining a decisive win over Styles...
And when Elgin's in a bad mood, he should not be messed with... Alexander gets the win, but at what cost?

ROH TV #86 February 14, 2015 Amsoil Arena, Duluth MN
The Young Bucks vs Adrenaline RUSH ROH has been informed that The Bucks will be heading to Japan for a tour and this will be their last match for a couple of months. They were looking to go out on a high note. Instead this turned into a short losing effort for Nick and Matt. Matt and TD started off and Matt was in control for about a minute before Thomas made his comeback and launched into his kicks and punches. After a nasty headbutt in the corner TD went for the pin but Matt kicked out, so Thomas tagged in ACH who quickly locked Matt in a spinning cloverleaf. Nick had the presence of mind to make the save before Matt tapped out. While the ref was getting Nick out of the ring ACH and TD hit Matt with a series of tandem kicks and then ACH went for the pin. This time Nick couldnt get in for the save and Matt ate the pinfall.
Mike Bennett w/Maria vs Cedric Alexander We have also been informed that Mike Bennett will be entering the G1 Climax Tournament. When the fans heard this they cheered mostly for the fact that Bennett would be gone for awhile. This turned out to be a great match. Both men countered everything the other threw at each other for a good portion of the match. Bennett was also resilient as when Cedric did take over he hit multiple LUMBAR CHECKS and Bennett kicked out every time. Finally though Mike got control of the match and went to work. He would hit BOX OFFICE SMASH after BOX OFFICE SMASH and Alexander got his shoulders up every time. Frustrated Bennett made a mistake and Cedric took over until Maria hopped up on the apron to distract Cedric. It worked as Bennett took over again, and nailed a PHOTO FINISH. Again Cedric kicked out so Bennett lined him up and planted Alexander into the mat with one final BOX OFFICE SMASH and got the win.
Matt Sydal vs Ethan Page Both men were looking to get a shot at Jay Lethal and his TV Title. In what was a good high flying vs ground and pound match Sydal and Page took it to each other. Page controlled for a bit then Sydal would take over the match, wash rinse repeat. Page did somehow manage to kick out of 2 SHOOTING STAR PRESSES, which upset Matt to no end. That was what Ethan needed to make his comeback. however it was very short lived as Sydal went right back to work and hit Page with everything in his playbook. With Page finally down and out Matt went to the top once again and landed a beautiful SHOOTING STAR PRESS that finally got the win.
Matt Taven vs Kevin Steen Poor Matt Taven. He lasted all of 2 minutes against Steen. Kevin brutalized Taven right from the start. When Steen went to the top and came off with a high angle senton bomb, Taven tried a springboard cross body. Both men crashed and burned, but Steen was the first to get up in a hurry and flattened Taven into the mat with an F_CINQ to pick up the fast victory.
We will see you next week for more action!
*ROH Newswire ROH has been told that Matt Taven will also be leaving for Japan and joining Mike Bennett in the G1 Climax Tournament. We wish both men good luck in the Tournament as well as The Young Bucks good luck on their tour.

Very funny line about the fans cheering for Mike Bennett because he would be gone... Gotta wonder... What kind of changes will take place with Bennett, Matt Taven and The Young Bucks while they're on tour... Really enjoyed Sydal's victory and I'm looking forward to him getting his shot at Lethal... Great stuff!

ROH TV #87 February 21, 2015 Amsoil Arena, Duluth MN
We start ROH TV off with Jay Lethal coming to the ring. He doesnt look very happy as he ignores the fans.
JL: "Matt Sydal, you won your match last week, and somehow you think that makes you a contender for MY TV Title? Well that is fine, just like everybody else I have taken out, I will do the same to you Sydal. Come Super Card of Honor I will still be the TV Champion!"
Forever Hooligans vs The Age of The Fall The ROH champs were finally able to make an appearance and they faced the challenge of Forever Hooligans. They all went back and forth for the entire match. Toward the end Jimmy made a crucial mistake and that allowed Koslov to make a quick comeback and he promptly nailed Jacobs with CONTRACT KILLER to pick up the victory.
Chris Hero vs Tommaso Ciampa Hero was coming off his surprising loss to Mike Bennett 2 weeks ago and Ciampa was just looking for another win. What happened was Hero destroyed Ciampa. Everything Ciampa tried Hero countered and then Hero finally got total control and would not let Ciampa forget it. After awhile Ciampa was on wobbly legs so Hero teed up and nailed Ciampa with the DEATHBLOW to pick up a much needed victory.
Ethan Page vs Jay Lethal Just for grins and giggles Lethal took on Page this week to show Sydal just how things are done. Poor Ethan Page never stood a chance. Jay battered Ethan all over the ring and never let up. Page would get in one move here and there but it wasnt enough to stop Lethal. Eventually Lethal was tired of playing with his food and locked Page in the KOJI CLUTCH. Page fought for a minute then when Lethal cinched it in Page was tapping like mad.
El Generico vs Michael Elgin This week El Generico was the unfortunate victim of Michael Elgin. Generico did start off the match in control and almost had Elgin beat twice, but that just angered the big man and after a well placed low kick Elgin finally went to work. He methodically picked Generico apart, and Generico had no place to go. After whopping Generico around Elgin smashed him into the turnbuckle with a Buckle Bomb and finally ended things with a mighty AVALANCHE ELGIN BOMB.
Following the match as Elgin was happy with himself Kevin Steen came out mic in hand. "Hey look everybody, this is what happens when Elgin gets angry. You wont like Elgin when he is angry because then ELGIN SMASH!" The fans laughed at this, which really angered Elgin enough that he picked up a downed El Generico and planted him into the mat with an ELGIN BOMB. KS: "Oh that is cute Elgin, you destroy my partner and then get angry when I make fun of you so you try and injure him? Well next week you will see what happens when I destroy your partner Brian Cage!" Super Card of Honor cannot get here fast enough!"
We will see you next week!

ROH TV #88 February 28, 2015 Amsoil Arena, Duluth MN
The Second City Saints vs Bad Influence This was a fairly quick match. For the first few minutes Colt was dominated by Bad Influence. Then Cabana made his comeback and right away tagged Punk in. Punk went to work on Kaz like there was no tomorrow and slapped and kicked the crap out of him. After a nasty Pepsi Twist Kaz was ripe for the pickings. Punk dragged Kaz over to the corner and assended the ropes with Kaz in toe, before setting up and hitting the PEPSI PLUNGE. Colt cut Daniels off as Punk made the cover and got the three.
Claudio Castagnoli vs Delirious It was the power of Claudio vs the unpredictablity of Delirious. They both pounded on each other for awhile, then Delirious took over and blasted Castagnoli with everything he had. Not even a Bizzaro Driver would keep Claudio down for the count. Upset now Delirious tossed Claudio outside and went on the attack. In no time flat Delirious had a chair in hand and was blasting Claudio with it drawing the DQ in the process.
Mike Mondo vs Matt Sydal Matt was not messing around here tonight. He took it to Mondo straight away and never let Mondo get a lick of offense in. In under 2 minutes Mondo was flat on his back on the mat and Sydal was coming off the top with a SHOOTING SYDAL PRESS and getting the win.
Brian Cage vs Kevin Steen As Steen was making his way to the ring Elgin jumped him from behind! Officials rushed out and managed to get him to the back but the damage was already done. Still willing to go, Steen tried his best to destroy Cage. The earlier beating was just too much and Cage picked Steen apart piece by piece. Steen tried a couple of comebacks but it was all for naught, and in short order Cage hit WEAPON X and got the pinfall on the ROH Champion! Following the match Elgin hit the ring and together Cage and Elgin continued the beating on Steen. One more WEAPON X was just a set up for Elgin to nail Steen with an ELGIN BOMB and the Unbreakable F'N Machines stood tall as ROH TV came to a close.
We will see you all next week!

A pair of excellent shows, as you lead us toward Super Card of Honor... And a whole lot going on to build up to the big event...
Really like the conflict between Steen and Elgin... The ring is bound to explode when those two clash... Really impressed with how you're writing Jay Lethal as well... His appearances really pop!
My favorite moments of course are getting to see CM Punk in action... This is perhaps the only fed on the boards where I can see this happen... So thank you for that...
Awesome stuff!

I am really digging the feud between Steen and Elgin myself. If it wasnt for Steen kicking Adam Cole out of ROH this would have turned out much different than what I am doing now. I also plan on doing more with Jay Lethal too, similar to what ROH is doing IRL, it just depends on the outcome of Steen and Elgin. I am happy that you love seeing Punk in action. I will try and get him more TV time. As always thanks for the comments!

ROH TV #89 March 7, 2015 Amsoil Arena, Duluth MN
The Age of the Fall come down to the ring to start off ROH TV.
TB: "We are back tonight to issue an open challenge! Whichever team thinks they can beat us tonight or impresses us enough we will grant you a title shot at Super Card of Honor!" JJ: "So come on out here and take the beating you deserve!"
After a minute or two the music of War Machine hits and Hanson and Rowe hit the ring to see what they can do!
War Machine vs The Age of The Fall With Black and Jacobs away dealing with CZW business they havent been around much, and tonight showed again. War Machine picked Black apart to start the match. Tyler could offer nothing but token offense here and there until he finally made a tag to Jacobs. Jimmy ran wild on Hanson for a cup of coffee before Hanson got himself back into the match and made the tag to Rowe. Ray Rowe then beat on Jacobs unmercifully and put Jimmy down hard with a stalling suplex. Before Black had a chance to react and make a save Rowe was getting the pinfall victory. It appears now that War Machine will go to Super Card of Honor and get their title shot!
Rhett Titus vs Jay Lethal Lethal had a somewhat more difficult time handing Titus than he did Page. Titus surprised Lethal at first by taking it too him. Jay was on the back foot and Titus tried to press his advantage. That proved fatal as Lethal found a window and jumped through it taking Titus out. Lethal was all over Titus after that and quickly took him out of the match for good with a LETHAL INJECTION.
Nigel catches up with Kevin Steen in the back. NM: "Kevin, I know that you want to pay Elgin back for what he and Cage did to you last week, but I am strongly advising against that. El Generico is already out injured for a few more weeks, so you have no backup. Your revenge will have to wait until Super Card of Honor." KS: "Sure Nigel, whatever you say, I MIGHT bide my time for the next 3 weeks, but dont quote me on that."
Cedric Alexander vs CM Punk This was a really good match. Cedric and Punk did everything to counter one another and neither man could get a clear advantage. At one point Punk tried to finish Alexander off with a PEPSI PLUNGE but Cedric just got the shoulder up. Then Cedric took over and never looked back. He went on a finisher spree with a couple LUMBAR CHECKS and KICK 2 KILL PART II twice. Punk kicked out every time. Cedric set Punk up one more time and nailed another LUMBAR CHECK that this time got the three.
Jay Briscoe vs Michael Elgin This match ended really quick. Jay dominated Elgin from the very beginning. Elgin was constantly looking over his shoulder looking for Steen who never showed up. Jay continued to pound away on Elgin, then threw him outside. Once Jay followed him out, Elgin woke up and the brawl began. The ref was wise enough not to get between the men and elected to throw the match out. Briscoe and Elgin continued to fight when suddenly from behind came Kevin Steen! He plowed into Elgin giving Jay the assist. Pretty soon it was 2 on one and Steen got Elgin back in the ring. When Brian Cage came out to help his partner Briscoe cut him off at the pass. Getting payback for last week, Steen set Elgin up and drilled him into the mat with a PACKAGE PILEDRIVER and stood over his fallen opponent while the fans cheered!
We will see you all again next week for more action!
