ROH TV #100 June 13, 2015 Amsoil Arena, Duluth MN
Welcome to ROH TV episode 100! Tonight is Championship night as all titles are defended so we are wasting no more time!
ROH World Tag Team Title Match Steenerico vs The Age of The Fall(c) w/Truth Martini What everybody thought would be a competitive match turned into a 5 minute squash. Generico and Black started off and right away Black took it to Generico. After blasting El Generico with a superkick Black went for the pin, but Generico kicked out. Jimmy then tagged in and continued the assault. Generico survived an END OF TIME but that was just a distraction for Jacobs to nail El Generico in the face with RAILROAD SPIKE. The ref never saw it as Generico went down in a heap and Jimmy went for the pin. Tyler cut Steen off as the ref counted the three and The Age continue their title reign!
ROH World TV Title Match Mike Mondo vs Jay Lethal(c) w/Truth Martini This was a match the fans came to see! Mondo did his best to take Lethal out and finally wrest the TV Title from him, but Lethal was just that much better. They battled back and forth for quite awhile until Mondo took over and was close to the win after a Mondo Facebuster, but Jay got the shoulder up. Then after a double clothesline Lethal fired up and went on the offensive. Move after move was hit. Jay locked Mike in a KOJI CLUTCH but Mondo was too close to the ropes and grabbed them. Jay then fired off a Lethal Combination and then for good measure finished things off with a LETHAL INJECTION that got the pinfall and and keeps the TV Title with The House.
ROH World Heavyweight Title Match CM Punk vs Michael Elgin(c) What a great match! Punk made the most of this opportunity and really laid into Elgin. Elgin of course would overpower Punk and get himself back into the match. The guys then traded moves back and forth for the rest of the match, before Elgin took total control with a stalling vertical suplex. That set up an ELGIN BOMB and Punk was just a stain on the mat after that as Elgin got the win, and Punk once again came up short.
Thank you for joining us we will see you next week!
ROH.com special web matches
Top Prospect Tournament Round 1 Donovan Dijak vs Excalibur The first part of the match was all Excalibur. He threw everything he had at Dijak, and Donovan had no answer. Then just as things looked bleak for Dijak he used his power to out muscle Excalibur and finally control the match. Donovan just blasted Excalibur with everything from then on, and when a bunch of side elbows in the corner knocked Excalibur loopy Dijak ended things with FEAST YOUR EYES and picked up the victory. Donovan Dijak advances in the tournament.
Top Prospect Tournament Round 1 Moose w/ Stokley Hathaway vs Steve O'Reno What started out a good match had a very bad ending. Moose used his power game early and dominated O'Reno. Then Steve turned things around and took it to Moose. After 8 minutes of back and forth both men started brawling around the ring. The ref tried to get between them and get things back on track, but Moose was having none of that and just back handed the ref right out of the way. That earned him the DQ and Steve O'Reno is moving on in the tournament. That however did not stop either man from continuing the fight as officials had to come out and separate the two.

ROH TV #101 June 20, 2015 Amsoil Arena, Duluth MN
We are one week from Best in The World! Tonight will be the semi finals and finals of the Top Prospect Tournament, with the winner going on to Best in The World to face Jay Lethal for the TV Title! Time to hit the ring!
Top Prospect Tournament Semi Final Match Dalton Castle vs Steve O'Reno This opening match ended in rather quick fashion. Castle had O'Renos number right from the beginning. Nothing Steve did seemed to work as Dalton stopped him at every turn. Once Castle got going he never stopped, and planted O'Reno into the mat with a beautiful DEADLIFT GERMAN SUPLEX. Steve just got the shoulder up so Dalton set up and again nailed the move. Once again O'Reno kicked out. Castle was getting upset but calmed himself and waited for O'Reno to get to his feet. Dalton once again hooked O'Reno around the waist and hit a pefect DEADLIFT GERMAN SUPLEX. This time O'Reno did not kick out and Dalton Castle goes on to the finals.
Following the match as O'Reno was getting to his feet he was suddenly taken right out of his boots courtesy of a SPEAR from Moose! Stokely Hathaway directed traffic as Moose continued his assault until Ricky Starks of all people hit the ring to help his Inspire Pro teammate! Having done enough damage Moose and Stokely bailed and smiled at their handiwork.
Top Prospect Tournament Semi Final Match Zack Sabre Jr. vs Donovan Dijak Another dominating match. Poor Sabre fell victim to the power of Dijak. In 4 short minutes Donovan overpowered Zack and beat him down, before finishing Sabre off with FEAST YOUR EYES. Later on tonight Donovan Dijak will meet Dalton Castle in the finals!
Before the next match Steenerico came out for some mic time. Steen: "So last week was not a good week for Generico and myself. We got our butts handed too us by the champs. Now since I have fallen out of the World Title picture temporarily, well El Generico and I want another shot at Tyler Black and Jimmy Jacobs! We have worked too hard to just be cast aside like nothing! So boys, next week at Best in The World, we want another shot! If you dont accept our challenge then we will be forced to make you!"
Steenerico vs BJ Whitmer and Adam Page Steenerico was on a mission tonight and they proved that they should not be taken lightly. All Adam Page could do was watch as his partner was picked apart piece by piece. Page did try to help Whitmer out a couple of times but he was cut off at every turn. El Generico was almost DQed at one point for blasting Whitmer with a chair, but Steen got in the way of the ref just in time. From there it was clean up time for Kevin. He picked BJ apart and when he was satisfied with his work went to the top and nailed a perfect 450 splash to pick up the victory.
Next up to come to the ring was Michael Elgin. He seemed to be in a pretty good mood even for the Champ. ME: "Well as I predicted I sent CM Punk packing last week and am still standing as YOUR ROH World Champion! My only issue is that I will be taking the night off for Best in The World as I dont have an opponent to destroy. That is unless one of the morons in the back has the guts to step up and face me. I am putting out an open challenge, for anybody that thinks they are the Best in The World and can defeat me for MY Title! I will see you next week maybe, but as for tonight I am giving myself a little tune up match. Enjoy the carnage!"
Cheeseburger vs Michael Elgin Cheeseburger is a graduate of the ROH Dojo and looks like a skinny little kid compared to Elgin. Well Michael Elgin had a very enjoyable time playing with his food. Poor Cheeseburger took one heck of a beating, but always managed to stay in the match. At one point Burger got Elgin outside the ring and rammed his face into a table. All that did was anger Big Mike who planted a knee into the gut of Cheeseburger and threw him back into the ring to continue the brutal beating. Elgin did have the match won with a mighty ELGIN BOMB but at the last second picked Cheeseburger up to the rage of the fans. Not caring in the least Michael destroyed what was left of Cheeseburger before finally getting him on the ground and locking in a crossface submission. Again just as Burger was about to tap Elgin let go of the hold which enraged the fans even more and insighted the ref. Elgin just shrugged and picked Cheeseburger up and crushed him in the corner with a Buckle Bomb, and then ended things with a pinfall.
Top Prospect Tournament Finals Match Dalton Castle vs Donovan Dijak What everybody thought would be a great finals match turned into a quick squash. Castle tried the approach of his predecessors and went power for power with Dijak. That did not work in the least as Dijak just overpowered Castle and beat him into the ground. Then Dijak got a running start and turned Castle inside out with a lariat that in 3 minutes was enough for the pinfall. Donovan Dijak is the 2015 Top Prospect Winner and will face Jay Lethal next week!
We will see you next week at Best in The World!

Great job by Donovan Dijak, winning the Top Prospect Tournament... Can he capitalize on the opportunity when he faces Lethal for the TV title?
Elgin's victory came as no surprise... Also cool to see El Generico and Kevin Steen together and taking care of business...
Fun stuff, as always!

Best in The World June 27, 2015 TERMINAL 5, New York, NY
Welcome to Best in The World! Tonight promises to be a great night of action in the Big Apple! Enough talking, lets get to the action!
Mark Briscoe vs Tommaso Ciampa What a great way to kick off Best in The World. Mr. Caveman himself Chicken Mark Briscoe vs the unpredictable Tommaso Ciampa. Both men went at it from bell to bell and left nothing to chance. It was really back and forth the whole match until Mark finally got some control and went all Redneck on Ciampa. A little Kung Fu here, a little Kung Fu there, and Briscoe was rolling. Mark even hit Tommaso with three FROGGY BOWS, but Ciampa would not stay down. Then Ciampa took over the match at the end and went on a tear. When Ciampa was in his zone no amount of Redneck Kung Fu was keeping him from winning. After a brutal 13 minute match Ciampa got Briscoe into position and destroyed him with PROJECT CIAMPA to pick up the hard fought win.
Moose and Stokely Hathaway vs Steve O'Reno and Ricky Starks This match came about because of the actions of Moose during the Top Prospect Tournament. Stokely acted all big and bad by wanting to start the match, and he promptly got his butt kicked. In short order Steve O'Reno hit Hathaway with a LOU THESZ SPECIAL and went for the pin. Moose was right there to break up the pin but O'Reno and Starks continued their beating of Stokely. Stokely did finally manage to tag in Moose, and Moose went to work taking Starks apart. O'Reno was also not immune to the power and destruction of Moose. Once Hathaway was satisfied that his opponents were down he tagged back in and did his own damage. That did not last long however as O'Reno regained control and went to work on Stokely again. Eventually toward the end of the match O'Reno tossed Hathaway outside the ring, and after thinking about things, Stokely called Moose over and together they left ringside taking the countout loss. The fans were not happy with the result but what can you do.
Women of Honor Match Veda Scott vs Sara Del Rey The women finally get back in on the action as Veda takes on the Queen of Wrestling. Both women went back and forth for the entire match never letting the other get a clear advantage. Veda did her best to take Sara down and vis versa. Eventually Scott got control of the match and never looked back. She pounded away on Del Rey and did whatever it took to gain the victory. After a bit more action Veda nailed Sara with a FLEX EXPRESS and got the victory.
ROH World Tag Team Title Match Steenerico vs The Age of The Fall(c) w/Truth Martini Wow what a match! Steen and Generico were not going to get destroyed tonight! They did everything in their power to finally take the titles from the champs. In the middle of the match Steen had Jacobs down and out after an F-CINQ but Truth Martini of course stuck his nose in things and distracted everybody. Once El Generico tagged in he went to work though. He hit Jimmy with everything in his arsenal but still Jacobs would not stay down. Then Tyler got the tag and inflicted his own damage on Generico. Kevin Steen finally got a tag and he went wild for a bit until Black got the advantage and nailed a perfect PHOENIX SPLASH. Steen was just able to kick out though so Black got into position and nailed Steen with Paroxysm. Before El Generico could react Steen was staring at the lights as Black got the three count. The Age of the Fall have now entered month 13 as World Tag Team Champions!
Donovan Dijak came out to the ring for his TV Title match with Jay Lethal. Before the match could get under way Truth Martini had a mic. TM: "Donovan Dijak, I have watched you very closely throughout the entire Top Prospect Tournament, and I did say that I was looking to add a new Prince to my house. What I saw in you was amazing, and I think that we could do great things together. One day I will lead you to the TV Title, but tonight is not that night. So Donovan, I am offering you a spot in the House of Truth! All you have to do is lay down and let Jay Lethal pin you."
ROH World TV Title Match Donovan Dijak vs Jay Lethal(c) w/Truth Martini The Bell rang and Dijak thought about Martinis offer for a few seconds, while Truth stood there with his hand out smiling. After a bit of indecision Donovan finally shook Truths hand and smiled himself as the fans booed this new development. Dijak then did the right thing and laid down. Jay simply put his food on Dijaks chest as the ref counted the three.
DC: "No, no no, I will not allow this!" From out of the back comes Dalton Castle! DC: "Donovan Dijak, what is wrong with you? You pass up a great opportunity to join with them? Well then as the runner up of the Top Prospect Tournament I am hereby challenging you Jay Lethal to a TV Title match!" JL: "Excuse me? What makes you think that you can just come out here and challenge me to a match after I just wrestled? Runner up or not Castle, you are not getting a match with me tonight!" DC: "I am the peacock of ROH, but you sir, appear to be the chicken! Are you afraid I am going to take your little title from you?" JL: "Jay Lethal is afraid of nothing! Fine you want your match, let's get going!"
ROH World TV Title Match Dalton Castle vs Jay Lethal(c) w/Truth Martini and Donovan Dijak Well this didnt take long. As soon as the bell rang Lethal nailed Castle with a low blow and tossed him outside. Castle tried a small comeback and even planted Lethal with a DEADLIFT GERMAN SUPLEX but Lethal had plenty to kick out. Castle then went to the top, but Jay met him up there and threw Dalton right off and into the middle of the ring. From there it was academic as Jay hit his great LETHAL INJECTION and that garnered the three count. The HOT still has two thirds of the titles and gained a new member.
Ahead of his World Title open challenge Michal Elgin comes to the ring. ME: "Well it is Best in The World and time for the World Title match. I have been walking around the back all day and nobody would even look at me, so I know for a fact that not one person back there has the guts to accept my open challenge. Ref you might as well just declare me the winner!"
But no, Jay Briscoe is coming to the ring to accept Elgin's open challenge!
ROH World Heavyweight Title Match Jay Briscoe vs Michael Elgin(c) This was a pretty good match. Both men went back and forth and hit each other with everything. Elgin did manage to hit Jay with an ELGIN BOMB, but it was too early in the match and Briscoe kicked out. Then Jay went to work. He blasted Elgin with everything he could think of, including 2 early JAY DRILLERS, but Elgin got out. Then on a third JAY DRILLER Briscoe had the pin, but Elgin reversed it and hooked the pants of Briscoe to steal the three count! Elgin right away got out of the ring and retreated up the ramp with a smile on his face and his title intact.
Thank you for joining us we will see you next week for ROH TV!

Jay Briscoe really brought the fight to the champ, but Elgin still isn't ready to surrender that prize...
Cool to see Dijak join the House of Truth... Was hoping for Dalton Castle to take that TV title away from Lethal...
Age of the Fall are having a helluva run with the tag straps... Who's left?
Exciting show from start to finish... Nice work!

ROH TV #102 July 4, 2015 Amsoil Arena, Duluth MN
ROH TV is on the air! Tonight we have fallout from Best in the World and work our way towards Death Before Dishonor, so lets get to it!
Michael Elgin started off ROH TV by coming down to the ring, all smiles and still holding the ROH World Heavyweight Title.
ME: "Ahh yes, I said I would go to Best in The World Champion, and I did, I also said I would walk out Champion and of course I did! Jay Briscoe was no match for me, and I proved that last week! Now maybe I should take a cue from Roderick Strong, not to give him any credit or anything, but maybe I should bring out a bingo tumbler and pick my next opponent, what do you people think?" The crowd boos at this, as it has already been done, and want to see Elgin with an actual challenge. Then the music of Nigel McGuinness hits and he comes out to the ring. NM: "Now hold on just a second Elgin, you know and all these people know that you took the cheap way out last week against Jay Briscoe because you were afraid to lose your title! Well that will not happen again, because I have searched all over the world to find a challenger for you, and it just so happens that I found one, and signed him to an ROH contract. I will be taking this man under my wing, and at Death Before Dishonor you will defend your World Title against my new protege TIMOTHY THATCHER!"
The crowd goes nuts as Thatcher comes to the ring while inside the ring Elgin is pacing back and forth with an angry look on his face. ME: "What do you think you are doing Nigel! You cant just bring somebody in and call them number one contender to MY Title!" NM: "Michael Elgin, I am the official matchmaker and Authority of ROH, so I can and I did!" TT: "Dont worry Michael when I beat you for the World Heavyweight Title, I will only make it hurt for a minute!" ME: "No, I will not stand for this Nigel, I will go to the ROH Board and have you removed for abusing your power!" NM: "I have done no such thing Elgin, in fact signing Timothy and naming him number one contender has been perfectly legal, but dont think I am just handing him a title shot, because he will be in action, as will you. Leading up to Death Before Dishonor you both will have matches, and I cant wait to see them, good luck gentlemen!" Both Nigel and Timothy Thatcher left the ring all smiles as Elgin threw a fit inside the ring.
Mark Briscoe vs Ethan Page Not a bad opening match. Mark did his best to unbalance Page with Redneck Kung Fu, but it was not to be. Ethan Page just ran wild on Briscoe and would not let up. Mark did what he could to retaliate but Page turned him away. A couple of minutes later Mark was a victim of THE SPINNING DWAYNE and that netted Page the victory.
Following the match Mark was still down and Page took advantage by continuing his assault. From the back a man came running out and hit the ring. Page backed off for a minute then smiled as his partner Josh Alexander joined in on the beating. The crowd booed until finally Jay hit the ring to save his brother as Page and Alexander bailed, pleased with their handy work.
Moose w/Stokely Hathaway vs Cheeseburger Cheeseburger did not last long in this match at all. Moose started by trying a kneelift, but Burger countered and tried a double jump cross body. Moose countered that by destroying Cheeseburger with a lariat, then setting himself up in the corner. As Burger struggled to his feet Moose tore Cheeseburger in half with a SPEAR and got the easy three.
As Moose was celebrating his win yet another Inspire Pro member hit the ring and attacked. This time it was Lance Hoyt! Stokely saw him coming however and got Moose out of the ring in the nick of time. Hoyt grabbed a mic as Moose retreated up the aisle. LH: "So Moose, you like to pick on people smaller than you huh? Well Ricky and Steve are my boys, and they never got the resolution they wanted, so now it is my turn! You get to deal with The Psycho this tine around!"
The Hooligans vs Bad Influence These two teams put on an icredible match! The flying around of London and Kendrick vs the ground and pound of Bad Influence. Both teams battled each other back and forth, until finally Hooligans got control of the match and they just outdid Daniels and Kaz. In the end it was London and Kaz hitting each other with everything they could, until London hit a leg sweep DDT. With Kaz in position London went to the top and landed a picture perfect SHOOTING STAR PRESS, which was enough to pick up the win.
Chris Hero vs Timothy Thatcher Elgin had joined commentary for this match to scout Thatcher out. Thatcher tried his hardest to take Hero out while Hero was trying to do the same. It ended up being Hero controlling a majority of the match. Timothy would try and make a comeback but Hero would cut him off again and again. When Thatcher finally did get his bearings and went on a tear is when Elgin struck. As Thatcher was setting up Hero for his THATCHER STRETCH the ref was paying attention to Hero, Elgin blasted Thatcher in the back of the head with his title belt and left ringside. Hero got back to his feet not noticing at all but he did see Thatcher out on his feet, so thinking fast Hero nailed Thatcher with CYCLONE KILL and got the three count.
We will see you all next week for more ROH TV!
