CARD #21 NITE 1 04/12/13

The show starts with Homicide in the ring.
Homicide: Listen up all you gringos! As i said before there seems to be alot going on here in ROH. The Resistance has brought in a gang style of shit. We always had the House of Truth to deal with but The Resistance dont care who they go after. So i will fight fire with fire and make sure my ass is covered. Let me introduce my hombres The Latino Mafia.
On cue three men came out and got in the ring.
Homicide: These three guys are my brothers and we will have each others backs no matter what. For those of you who dont know them they are Rico Dynamite and Tito Escondido the Los Banditos and Nick Madrid. Anybody want a fight the Latino Mafia is here and waiting.
With that all four men leave the ring.

Mike Mondo w/ Truth Martini vs Rhett Titus 9:55
Titus tried to catch Mondo off guard with a hard right hand but Mondo blocked it. A dropkick put Titus on his ass followed by a scoop slam. Mondo now in control landed a corner clothesline, superplex, and buckle bomb to put Titus in big trouble. Mondo then missed a baseball slide giving Rhett the oppurtunity to get something going. Titus unable to capitalize was hit with a forearm and flying elbow drop followed by a Mondo facebuster. Titus was in deep trouble now. A superplex and buckle bomb set up a trip to the floor for Titus who received a shot to the face by Martini with the book as Mondo distracted the ref. Titus now a bloody mess struggled to his feet as Mondo smashed him into the barricade before sending Titus back in the ring. Rhett had no sucess stringing any kind of offense together and soon found himself on the receiving end of another Mondo attack. A No Fear DDT had the end written all over it only to see Titus kick out some how. With Mondo continuing his assualt with his full arsenal of moves it did not look good for Rhett. Two more pin attempts by Mondo did not achieve a victory sending Mondo into a rage. Somehow Titus hit an inverted overdrive and a Muff Driver but did not have enough strength to keep Mondo down. Mondo quickly sent Titus to the floor and followed him out. A brawl broke out with Mondo having the edge due to all the punishment Titus took earlier in the match. What was a great match for Mondo turned to disappointment as a steel chair to Rhett's head was enough to get Mondo dq'd giving Titus the win.

Tommaso Ciampa vs Adam Pearce 2:11
Pearce was making his debute tonite in ROH after leaving NWA Hollywood as the champ. Pearce was all over Ciampa fromvthe start landing punches and a swinging neckbreaker to put Tommaso down. Keeping the attack going with a suplex and spinebuster Ciampa was in big trouble. Two Jumping Piledrivers was not enough to keep Ciampa down. Pearce hit a hangmans neckbreaker then another Jumping Piledriver for a dominating debute victory over Ciampa.

El Generico vs Kyle O'Reilly 10:00
Not a spectacular match by any means. Neither wrestler ever had his opponent in real trouble. The sold out crowd never got into this match. The match went to a time limit draw.

Young Bucks vs WGTT 1:42
The Bucks once again were outmatched against the WGTT. Benjamin got it going with a t-bone suplex and Paydirt but Matt kicked out. Another Paydirt had Matt kick out once again. A double leg spinebuster allowed Haas to tag in and hit Matt with an inverted atomic drop, superplex, and a t-bone suplex that allowed Haas to pin Matt as Shelton took Nick to the floor.

Eddie Edwards vs Mike Bennett w/ Maria 3:57
Edwards was on fire tonite. A lariat and sitout f5 stunned Bennett right off the bat. With Maria screaming on the floor Edwards put Bennett down with a superkick, double knees,another superkick, and a chin checker. Maria sensing Bennett was in a bad dilema distracted Edwards with her best asset. Bennett managed to land a powerslam, and back suplex. Edwards shakes it off and hammered Bennett viscious chops and a missle dropkick. With Bennett in dreamland Edwards hits the Die Hard to put Bennett away.

Homicide vs Adam Cole 2:42
Back and forth action started this match up. Cole gained the edge by hitting a lungblower and corona kick. Fighting back Homicide landed a stf and top rope 187.
Cole manages to pull off a cross body and a flurry of kicks before Homicide turns the tide with another top rope 187 and Da Gringo Killer to pick up a big win over Cole.

MAIN EVENT
Michael Elgin w/ Truth Martini vs Rhino 6:42
The crowd was on fire for this match up. Rhino has wanted Elgin for awhile and finally gets his chance. Elgin grabs control early with a enzuigiri followed by a shoulder block. Rhino shakes it off and surprises Elgin by landing a forearm shiver. A stunned Elgin then got caught by Rhino with a firemans carry cutter and sharpshooter. Keeping the attack going Rhino hits a brutal belly to belly suplex then hit a powerslam. The action then spills to the floor as both men brawl and brutalize each other. Ring posts, steps, and the barricade was all used as the ref let it go. Elgin now with the upper hand sends Rhino back in the ring. A spinning backfist stunned Rhino enough to let Elgin hit a devastating charging lariat almost taking Rhino's head off. With Rhino staggering Elgin smashed Rhino with a flying shoulder block sending Rhino thru the ropes to the floor. As Elgin tried to distract the ref Martini ate a Rhino clothesline on the floor before he could get involved. Elgin now outside hit a powerbomb on the floor and nailed Rhino in the face with a steel chair earning Elgin a dq giving Rhino the win.

McGuinness came out with a mic.
NM: These two warriors just gave us one hell of a match. But since i dont like the way it ended in a disqualification i have an announcement. Tomorrow nite here in Madison Square Gardens Michael Elgin and Rhino will meet again in the squared circle. To make sure there is a clear cut winner it will be a no dq match.

The sold out crowd erupted into a frenzy chanting RHINO...RHINO...RHINO...as the show ended.

Joey Ryan vs Davey Richards 3:06
Ryan tried to start quick but Richards was ready and blocked his attempted knee. Richards then went on the attack landing a running lariat. With Ryan stunned Richards attacked with a double knee backbreaker and folding powerbomb. Ryan was now in deep trouble. A double stomp and multiple suplexes had Richards in command of the match. After a shoot kick Richards was confident maybe to much. Ryan shaking off the earlier assualt caught Richards off guard with his pumphandle exploder and spear. A spinebuster then completely turned the tide to Ryan. After a well timed pedigree Ryan landed his Walk Off only to see Richards withstand the move. After an attempted spear missed with Ryan crashing into the turnbuckle Richards hit a superplex and folding powerbomb. Again Ryan was down and in trouble. Richards then hit another superplex then tossed Ryan to the floor. Ryan was ready for Richards to come out and sent Richards head first to the ring post. Once back in the ring Richards was sent to the ropes only to nail Ryan with a brutal clothesline. Ryan then rolled out to the floor. Richards seeing an opportunity hit a suicide dive sending Ryan into the barricade head first. Richards quickly sent Ryan into the ring and covered him for a 1-2-3.

C&C Wrestle Factory vs The Tribe 4:21
The Navajo Warrior started off against Cedric Alexander. With a size advantage the Warrior devastated Alexander with a samoan drop, flying bear, and nav-a-lanche. The Hawaiian Lion now tagged in kept Alexander down landing two snap belly to belly suplexes. A saito suplex followed by a devastating volcano bomb had Alexander writhing in pain. The Warrior back in sent Alexander thru the ropes to the floor crashing hard to the floor. With the ref occupied by the Lion Coleman helped Alexander with a quick double team powerbomb sending the Warrior bouncing offvthe concrete. Now back in the ring Coleman the legal man hit a running high knee in the corner and an asai moonsault. After a few tags by both teams Coleman was nailed with the Reservation Devastation and was pinned by Navajo Warrior.

Bryan Danielson w/ Truth Martini vs Willie Mack 2:02
The match started out slow with both feeling out their opponent. Danielson then gained the upper hand with a beautiful roundhouse kick. Then mma strikes and a yakuza kick sent Mack reeling. As Mack regained his bearings he attacked with a t-bone suplex and sit out spinebuster. A standing moonsault and frog splash had Danielson ripe for the picking. A Chocolate Thunder Bomb was not enough to put away Danielson. As the tide turned Danielson's quest for victory was halted when the ref caught Martini clubbing Mack with his book disqualifing Danielson.

Phillys Most Wanted vs Briscoe Brothers 0:23
Over before it started after a running clothesline Mark caught Blk Jeez with his Red Neck Kung-fu for an unbelieveable 1-2-3- victory.

TELEVISION CHAMPIONSHIP
Jay Lethal(c) vs Roderick Strong w/ Truth Martini 1:44
Lethal had no answers for Strong tonite. Strong completely dominated the match hitting Lethal with everything under the sun. A well timed Death By Roderick gave Strong a huge victory. NEW TELEVISION CHAMPION RODERICK STRONG.

Steve Corino vs Masada 3:55
Masada was on the attack first. Wasting no time Masada landed a butterfly suplex, running boot, and powerbomb. Corino blocked an attempted suplex and turned the tide catching Masada with an old school kick. Masada quickly regained the advantage and sent the action to the floor. This brought out Joker who helped Masada double team Corino making the ref dq Masada giving the match to Corino. Jimmy Jacobs back from injury came running out with a baseball bat chasing away the two Resistance members.

NO DISQUALIFICATION MATCH
Michael Elgin w/ Truth Martini vs Rhino 2:04
Both combatants traded blows in the early onset. With neither gaining a significant edge on the other Martini to insert himself in the match as Elgin distracted the ref. Rhino caught Truth with a Gore then turned his attention to Elgin hitting back to back Gores for the win. Elgin was helped to the back by medical staff.

MAIN EVENT
NON TITLE
Kevin Steen(c) vs Sami Callihan 0:25
Steen was pissed at the start. Callihan was caught with a wicked superkick sending him to the floor. Steen was a madman causing the ref to call for the bell before it got out of hand giving Callihan a dq win.
As Steen was still attacking Callihan, out came Masada and Philly Most Wanted. With four Resistance members now taking it to Steen you had SCUM running out to help their leader. All the sudden from the back came DJ Hyde, Drake Younger, and Danny Havoc. As Younger stopped in the walk way guarding the entrance Havoc and Hyde helped in the assault on Steen and SCUM. The Briscoe Brothers and Latino Mafia then came out rushing the ring. As they approached Younger ripped off his shirt displaying a ROH t-shirt underneath. He joined in against the Resistance in what turned out to be a 10 on 6 free for all. Security rushed to ringside to try and seperste the brawl as the shows ends.
