Awesome pic and love the description given along with it. It's a perfect summation of what COTG/LOW experience is (especially to new players).
Had some great discussion about the ROH game in Jamestown and I'm really looking forward to all the teasers and more amazing artwork from Werner!
WOOOOOOOO!!

Steen is definitely looking awesome. It should be a blowaway set.

Glad everyone likes the controversial art. This is just an example of what you can expect in the ROH set. We're going to try things never attempted before, because well, they're only in one place -- my head. My plan is to give you guys the baddest games on the planet. Art so sick you're not sure what you're looking at. That's the goal.
Yes, this is his card art. It's the only card in the set who will look like this (grey scale, blood, extreme up close). No one else in the set will have any of those things, let alone all 3. The idea was to create a "MONOLITH" look, where you can throw STEEN out on a table with 50 other cards and he'll stand out as someone special. I think Werner pulled it off. They say 230+ likes and 50 + comments left in 24 hours on Facebook is pretty good. So it's a start. I think the more Werner is inspired, the better work he wails out. I think he's feeling pretty good right now. Peace.

Pretty psyched for the set Swarm. Really appreciate all the hard work that is being put into it. Looking forward to seeing who makes the cut. Peace!

I do not yet know enough about ROH to understand why the art is controversial. It is very eye-catching and pleasing. I also do not know enough about ROH to understand if it fits him.
but I will make every attempt to learn, especially as more names are released for this set.

I don't get why it's controversial really, however I'd say that Steen looking pissed off while blood flows down his face fits him quite well.

I wonder if this is just teaser art, cover art or if it is actually his card art. It would certainly be unconventional card art as is. Unconventional is the better word, used here by Pikemojo. The grey scale with color is unique to every other card in the ROH set. You won't see any others like it. The Steen card is just the first of many "unconventional" styles of art you'll get in this set. The creative juices are over-flowing, and all of them are spilling over into this set. Keep your peeled for more, sooner than later.

ROH teaser # 2 and many more after that coming soon. Now that Werner is done with NWA and CZW we are working full throttle on ROH.
Here's something to chew on - MAJOR name added to the set recently (who wasn't in the original plans). I'm talking, BIG name guy. LOW big...Muahahahaha! The drama builds!
