*1 - Osirian Portal earn their 1st point.
*2 - Eddie Kingston blasted Brodie Lee right in the face with the Grand Championship belt allowing Arik Cannon to hit the brainbuster for the win.
*3 - Gobblox attacked Ultramantis Black during this match drawing the DQ. Crossbones came out and tossed Ultramantis Black a baseball bat which allowed him to fight off Gobblox.
*4 - Young Bucks earn their 3rd point and can now challenge Fire Ant and Soldier Ant for the belt.
*5 - Chuck Taylor, Icarus and Johnny Gargano are awarded the 2012 King of Trios trophy.
Angle Developments:
After Eddie Kingston cost Brodie Lee his match he went backstage and went on a total tirade. He went off about how Brodie Lee messed with the wrong guy. The kid gloves are off.
Archibald Peck is backstage with Veronica. Peck admits the first leg of the Invitational was a little less than successful but round 2 will see him even his record at 1-1. Just who could it be? We'll just have to find out.
During the F.I.S.T. celebration, Taylor gets on the mic. He makes it clear that he and Gargano want the Osirian Portal at the next show.

Notes:
*1 - Archibald Peck and Veronica come down to the ring. Peck says it's time for the Challenge. Bryan Danielson answered the call to a huge pop from the crowd. After the match, Archibald Peck is 0-2 in the Challenge.
*2 - Incoherence earns their 1st tag team point. Ares and Tim Donst continue the attack on Frightmare and Hallowicked after the bell. Ultramantis Black comes out but this draws out Dr. Cube and Goblox out. All three members of the Spectral Envoy get beaten down.
*3 - Chuck Taylor and Johnny Gargano earn their 2nd tag team point. After the match Taylor and Gargano continue to beatdown the Osirian Portal. Taylor tries to unmask Amasis until Mike Quackenbush and Jigsaw run in for the save.
Angle Developments:
Brodie Lee and Larry Sweeney are backstage. Brodie Lee says that the time for fun and games has ended. On the next show, he gets his shot at the Grand Championship. He's going to destroy Eddie Kingston inside of the ring and bring the belt home.
The BDK enter the ring. Claudio Castagnoli runs down the Chikara roster for not being in the same league as his team. Sure, they've lost some matches here and there but his group has the clear advantage right now. As the year progresses, he expects his team to continue to grab wins and even some belts. Soon, all of the power will reside in his group.
Matt and Nick Jackson are backstage. They've earned their three points and now it's time to cash in. You're looking at the next Campeonatos de Parejas.
Colt Cabana is backstage. He doesn't want Kingston and Lee to have all the fun out there. That's why he's throwing his name in the hat for the Grand Championship. But he also wants Delirious to know that he hasn't forgotten about their last match. They have unfinished business to settle in that ring and there will be a reckoning.

*3 - Green Ant catches Tursas with a flying forearm and then dumps him out of the ring. The Colony and the BDK have a stand off.
*4 - Mike Quackenbush and Jigsaw earn their 2nd tag team point.
*5 - Ares and Delirious hit the ring. It's a three on one beatdown of Hallowicked until Chris Hero shocks the crowd by appearing. He pushes all the members of the BDK off of Hallowicked and asks Claudio if he's lost his mind. Claudio kicks Hero and hits the Ricola Bomb to huge boos from the crowd.
*6 - Larry Sweeney grabs the Grand Championship belt and kisses it. He hands the belt to Brodie Lee and raises his arm in victory. Colt Cabana appears in the entrance way and gently claps his hands. He grabs a mic and tells Lee to enjoy that belt because Colt Cabana is gunning for it now.
Angle Developments:
Ultramantis Black is backstage. He challenges Dr. Cube to a final showdown at the next show. If Cube wins, Black will join his team, if he wins then Goblox has to leave Chikara.
Matt and Nick Jackson are backstage. They're only a day away from their shot at the tag belts. The Colony are going down. That's just a fact of life.
The Batiri are backstage. Kobald laughs about their Double DQ match against the Northstar Express. The Batiri are just getting warmed up in Chikara. There will be a rematch with the Express and they'll learn what the Batiri are all about.
Backstage, Veronica is upset with Archibald Peck for being 0-2 in the challenge. Peck says that it's not his fault that Bryan Danielson answered his challenge last month. He promises that he'll do better as the challenge progresses. There's a long way to go in 2012 and he has plenty of time to put together some wins in the Invitational.
Bryce Remsburg catches up with Bryan Danielson backstage. He asks if Danielson is joining Chikara full time or if last month was just a one time deal. Danielson just laughs and walks away.
