• The Colony beat the Lumberjacks and Archibald Peck in a trios match when Fire Ant pinned Brodie Lee after SUPER MEGA ANTAPAULT.

• The Throwbacks battled back after an early pounding to beat Sara Del Ray and Daizee Haze. Dasher Hatfield scored the pin after hitting GRANDSLAM on Daizee.

• Claudio Castagnoli and Ares beat Incoherence when Claudio knocked out Frightmare with Swiss Death.

• Gavin Loudspeaker took center-ring and interviewed Director of Fun Wink Vavasseur. Wink announced the specifics of the 12 LARGE SUMMIT.

“The 12 LARGE SUMMIT will consist of two groups of 6 wrestlers, with all six wrestlers facing off against the competitors in their group, round-robin style,” Wink said. “The wrestler with the best record from Block 1 will face the one with the best record from Block 2 to determine the new CHIKARA GRAND CHAMPION.” Wink said the 12 competitors would be announced next week.

When asked about Delirious’ recent attack on Jigsaw, Wink replied, “We’re looking into that, but we’re not prepared to issue any statements or hand down any penalties right now.”

• Tursas surprised Mike Quackenbush with DIVING CROSS BODY from the middle rope.

• Ultramantis Black and Eddie Kingston beat Pinkie Sanchez and Tim Donst when Black pinned Donst with PRAYING MANTIS BOMB. Despite their best efforts, neither Mantis nor Black was able to exact any revenge on Sanchez as Pinkie did his best to stay out of harm’s way.

• Delirious beat Jigsaw with BIZZARO DRIVER to snap his losing streak against the masked tecnico. Delirious took no chances, however, as he attacked the already-injured Jigsaw on his way to the ring and never relinquished his advantage. After the fall, Delirious rolled out of the ring and returned with table. He set up the table then positioned Jigsaw for a PRAYING MANTIS BOMB. Mike Quackenbush, Ultramantis Black and Eddie Kingston hit the ring before Delirious could pull of the move and sent the insane masked man retreating from the arena.

• Icarus beat Green Ant using BLU-RAY.

• Sara Del Ray and Daizee Haze beat the Colony when Sara forced Red Ant to submit to ROYAL BUTTERFLY.

• Incoherence defeated Team F.I.S.T. when Hallowicked put away Chuck Taylor with a Rydeen Bomb.

• As promised, Wink Vavasseur made his way to the ring and made a major announcement regarding the 12 LARGE SUMMIT. With assistance from Veronica, he unveiled BLOCK 1 of the tournament to be: Jigsaw, Ultramantis Black, Fire Ant, Delirious, Icarus and Pinkie Sanchez.

After giving the crowd a moment to react, Wink announced BLOCK 2. The competitors: Mike Quackenbush, Frightmare, Eddie Kingston, Tursas, Sara Del Ray and Tim Donst.

• Claudio Castagnoli and Ares beat the Throwbacks to earn their third point and the right to challenge the Lumberjacks. Ares scored the win on Dasher Hatfield following TIGER DRIVER.

• Campeonatos de Parejas the Lumberjacks cut a promo in the locker room. Brodie Lee told interviewer Leonard Chikarason he’s been waiting for a shot a Claudio Castagnoli since the formation of BDK and plans to make Claudio pay for not including him in the plans. When asked about whether he would have abandoned Grizzly Redwood had he been invited to join BDK, Lee got irate and threw Chikarason out of the locker room.

“Quit trying to stir up s**t!” Lee yelled as he and Grizzly got rid of Chikarason.

• Mike Quackenbush, Jigsaw, Ultramantis Black and Eddie Kingston shut out the BDK team of Delirious, Tursas, Pinkie Sanchez and Tim Donst. Jigsaw got the first elimination of the match when he pinned hated-rival Delirious with JIG N’ TONIC. Kingston followed that up with a knock-out pin of Sanchez. Quackenbush scored the third fall of the match with QUACKENDRIVER IV on Tim Donst. Kingston finished things off in the fourth fall by pinning Tursas after BACKFIST TO THE FUTURE.

After the match, the four tecnicos celebrated their victory. Claudio Castagnoli emerged from the dressing room.

“Enjoy your moment,” Castagnoli said, “because a run of monumental achievement is on the horizon for BDK. Not only will Ares and I capture the tag team titles next week, but I have just informed CHIKARA officials that I will also be entering the SUMMIT, but I’m not saying who I’m replacing. Enjoy your little victory, because CHIKARA belongs to BDK!”

Great stuff Joe. I was surprised that you excluded Claudio from the 12 Large Summit, but that was a nice twist at the end. Lumberjacks-BDK should be entertaining.
