As of January 1, 2012, CHIKARA Pro Wrestling will now have a weight limit in order to be on the CHIKARA roster. Wrestlers must weigh the minimum of 150 pounds to the maximum weight of 260 pounds in order to be on the CHIKARA Pro Wrestling roster. With that said, Next Item... 2) The following 8 wrestlers have been released by CHIKARA Pro Wrestling due to weight restrictions: - CLINCH (w/Larry Sweeney) - ENDGAME (w/She Devil) - HIJACK (w/Avarice) - PENDRAGON (w/Avarice) - THE ROAD WARRIORS (Animal & Hawk) (w/Paul Ellering) - (CHIKARA Universal Tag Team Champions) STRONG and TURSAS (w/Larry Sweeney) 3) The CHIKARA Universal Tag Team Championship are now vacant and will be decided this Friday night, January 6, 2012 in Union City, NJ in a (10-Team) Battle Royal. 4) CHIKARA Pro Wrestling will have no more than 24 venues in the promotion. 2) The following 8 wrestlers have signed with CHIKARA Pro Wrestling : - AIDEN CROSS - BISHOP HELL (w/The Dark Menace) - BRYAN DANIELSON - COVEN BLACK (w/The Dark Menace) - LA VUELTA - NEGRO MORTE - TANAH - THE BETRAYER (w/The Dark Menace) Attachments:

TAURAN pinned OPHIDIAN with the Victory Star Drop.
TANAH pinned KOBALD with the High Fly Low.
(CHIKARA Universal TV Championship = No Disqualification Match)
ICARUS pinned STAR WARRIOR with the Blu-Ray to win the title for the sixth time.
EDDIE KINGSTON pinned NEGRO MORTE with the Backfist To The Future.
TIM DONST defeated BRYAN DANIELSON by disqualification when DANIELSON delivered a piledriver on DONST on the concrete floor.

I basically ran out of creative juices, which brings to my CHIKARA Newswire. 2) January, 2012 = Guilty As Charged and the February PPV were both cancelled. Like I said at 7:54pm tonight, this is a big announcement that will change the face of CHIKARA Pro Wrestling forever. and here it is :

From this point on, the promotion will be NWA CHIKARA. The new thread will be Superstar Jimi C's NWA CHIKARA. We will be making announcement on that thread in the upcoming days on what wrestlers will be signed and what championships the wrestlers be going for, as well as the touring schedule in NWA CHIKARA.
