In the Crowd: as Intermission came to an end, Bobby Heenan, Nick Bockwinkel (both from Beverly Hills,) and Masked Superstar II (from Los Angeles) suddenly entered the building and took 3 front row seats as the fan finding himself having to sit behind the Masked Superstar II decides to move to another seat. Did the Heenan Family get their preferential seating by enlisting in the CHIKARMY?

Match #5: Soldier Ant and Green Ant defeated Sara Del Rey and Daizee Haze

- Hailing from Martinez in the nearby Bay Area, Del Rey got one of the loudest ovations of the night from most of the Sacramento crowd except for Heenan who during the match yelled at her and Haze saying "Hey bimbos, when you are done you can serve us our drinks." Del Rey responded by walking over and slapping Heenan in the face.

- at another point in the match when Green Ant was lying down on the mat, Heenan heckled him by chanting, to the sound of the Pink Panther song, "Dead ant, dead ant, dead ant, dead ant, dead ant, dead ant, dead ant, dead ant!"

- Del Rey and Haze put up a good competitive fight and made the Ants survive a total of 5 pin/submission attempts, but the Colony prevailed when Green Ant pinned Haze following ANTS GO MARCHING.

Match #6: Chuck Taylor defeated Claudio Castagnoli, Delirious, UltraMantis Black, and Jigsaw in a fatal five way elimination match to win Block B of the Big 12.

- Taylor pinned UltraMantis via OMEGA DRIVER
- Taylor pinned Jigsaw via OMEGA DRIVER
- Delirious pinned Castagnoli via leaping lariat after Eddie Kingston arrived at ringside and distracted his enemy Castagnoli
- Taylor, thanks to interference from an interfering Pinkie Sanchez distracting his (Sanchez's) enemy Delirious, pinned Delirious via the OMEGA DRIVER.

- Taylor wins Block B and will compete against the winner of Block A at Los Awesomios!

Match #7: Tursas defeated Icarus

- during this match, Tursas stood right next to where the Masked Superstar II was sitting at ringside and the two stared at each other through their masks but didn't attack each other

- a great match won by Tursas via Black Hole Slam.

- will Tursas also be victorious against Bruiser Brody in their no DQ match at Los Awesomios?

In the Ring: Brutus Beefcake, who had been at a side table signing autographs and taking pictures, from nearby San Francisco entered the ring to say he is bringing Greg Valentine down from Seattle and they have agreed to a special appearance for CHIKARA Pacific at Los Awesomios in a tag match against Incoherence!

Match #8: Mike Quackenbush defeated Eddie Kingston, Brodie Lee, and Fire Ant in a fatal fourway elimination match to win Block A of the Big 12.

- during this match from his front row seat, Heenan was also heckling Lee by chanting "BIG BOOT small brain, BIG BOOT small brain, BIG BOOT small brain" which clearly annoyed Lee and led to him yelling at Heenan, Bockwinkel, and the Masked Superstar II.

- Kingston pinned Fire Ant via BACKFIST TO THE FUTURE

- Quackenbush pinned Kingston via a deathjump after Castagnoli interfered to cost his enemy Kingston the match. Kingston and Castagnoli then brawled to the back.

- Masked Superstar II got away with getting out of his front row seat and smashing Lee from behind and Quackenbush, unaware of Masked Superstar II's involvement, then hit QUACKENDRIVER III to win Block A of the Big 12!

- as a result the first champion of CHIKARA Pacific will be decided at Los Awesomios in a match between Quackenbush and Taylor!

- Director of Fun Mr. Vega then arrived and said the Heenan Family received their front row tickets as comps tonight for agreeing to participate in Los Awesomios and these will be their opponents:

Masked Superstar II will wrestle Brodie Lee!

Heenan will wrestle Sara Del Rey!
(not realizing he was agreeing to also wrestle, Heenan started to protest but to no avail)

Bockwinkel will wrestle Mr. Vega!

Backstage: Tom Donst, who along with Eddie Kingston is one half of the current holders of the Campeonatos de Parejas, approaches his challengers tonight the Throwbacks.

Donst (to the Throwbacks): "Woo Woo Woo. I hope you guys are ready for tonight because, as they say at Jack in the Box, you either go big- or you go home."

Sugar Dunkerton: "Maybe you should be asking that question to your partner Eddie Kingston. It seems he might be focused too much instead on his other match tonight against Claudio Castagnoli."

Donst: "Nah, Eddie is my Broski of the Day. He'll be ready because he knows you either go big- or you go home."

Donst; " And remember, if you guys lose you go back down from 3 points to zero points. So you either go big or....."

Dunkerton (interrupting Donst:) "Or you go home, we know."

Dasher Hatfield: "We are going home. But we are going home with the Campeonatos de Parejas and then on Election Day all the boys will vote for Sugar and Dasher."

Donst: "Whatever. You either go big- or you go home. Sugar and Dasher, you two take care and spike your hair. Woo Woo Woo. You know it."

Match #1: The Colony defeated Jigsaw, UltraMantis Black, and Archibald Peck (accompanied by Veronica) in a trios match

- Los Awesomios started with a trios match

- a great opening match that saw the Colony with their greater experience working together as a trios team get the victory as the dysfunctional combo of Jigsaw, Uktramantis, and Peck suffered the loss when Fire Ant pinned Peck after the ANT HILL.

- afterward an angry UltraMantis attacked Jigsaw from behind

Match #2: Incoherence defeated the Dream Team in a Special Attraction match

- Greg Valentine and Brutus Beefcake put up a great fight against Hallowicked and Frightmare but lost when Frightmare put Beefcake away via FRIGHT CRUSHER.

In the Ring: Ares with Director of Fun Mr. Vega

- Mr. Vega says he has decided to add a bonus match for Los Awesomios. This bonus match will be between Ares and CHIKARA Pacific's newest wrestler- Ophidian!

Match #3: Ophidian defeated Ares by DQ

- Ophidian's debut match in CHIKARA Pacific ended in a DQ when the action spilled outisde of the ring where the referee caught Ares giving a low blow to Ophidian which is always an automatic DQ in CHIKARA Pacific.

Match #4: The Throwbacks defeated Eddie Kingston and Tim Donst for the Campeonatos de Parejas.

First Fall: Throwbacks won by DQ when the referee saw Kingston accidentally hit Dunkerton on the head with a steel chair outside of the ring when Kingston was actually trying to hit his enemy Castagnoli instead who came out to taunt Kingston. Throwbacks up 1-0.

Second Fall: Kingston and Donst rebounded and won the fall when Kingston pinned Dunkerton via BACKFIST TO THE FUTURE. It's tied 1-1.

Third/Final Fall: Throwbacks win the deciding fall to capture the Campeonatos de Parejas from Kingston and Donst when Hatfield pinned Donst via GRANDSLAM DUNK! Throwbacks win 2-1!

- afterward Kingston and Donst exchanged some words

End of First Third. Second Third will be posted next after First Intermission (note: since the Awesomios cards such as Los Awesomios traditionally have more matches than the typical CHIKARA Pacific show, there is both a First Intermission and a Second Intermission.

Match #5: Icarus and Johnny Gargano defeated the Young Bucks in a special attraction match

- the Young Bucks received the loudest and longest ovation from the home town LA crowd so far, but they lost when Icarus put Nick Jackson away via WINGS OF ICARUS. Will their F.I.S.T. teammate Chuck Taylor also win tonight in his Big 12 Finals against Mike Quackenbush to become the first CHIKARA Pacific Champion and make it a sweep for F.I.S.T. at Los Awesomios?

Match #6: Bruiser Brody defeated Tursas in a no DQ special attraction grudge match

- in a great and competitive big man match, Brody finally got revenge on Tursas for the attack upon him at Albuquerque Anarchy and got the pinfall victory via a one hand body slam.

Match #7: Delirious defeated Pinkie Sanchez in a feud-ending chain match

- despite Sanchez's sneak attack upon Delirious to start the match, Delirious won this match and thus this feud when he made Sanchez submit to the Cobra Stretch while using the chain to dramatically increase the pressure.

Match #8: Masked Superstar II (managed by Bobby Heenan) defeated Brodie Lee in a special attraction match

- despite appearing in his home town of LA and being accompanied by his manager Heenan from nearby Beverly Hills, the crowd was overwhelmingly in favor of Lee for this match. However the Masked Superstar II got the victory via his BACKBREAKER.

Match #9: Sara Del Rey (accompanied by Daizee Haze) defeated Bobby Heenan in a special attraction match

- early in the match, Nick Bockwinkel and Masked Superstar II came out and to be in Heenan's corner and Masked Superstar II reached through the ropes to trip Del Rey

- In response, Director of Fun Mr. Vega arrived and ordered both Bockwinkel and Masked Superstar II to the back. As he departed, Bockwinkel exchanged some words with his opponent later tonight Mr. Vega.

- Del Rey, who along with Haze endured some sexist remarks directed to them by Heenan at Card 14's Sactown Smackdown, got the win when Heenan rolled out of the ring only to be tossed back in by Haze toward Del Rey who proceeded to win via the ROYAL BUTTERFLY.

Match #10: Claudio Castagnoli defeated Eddie Kingston in a grudge match

- this long-awaited grudge match finally took place here at Los Awesomios

- this match ended with Kingston in control until Castagnoli surprised him with Swiss Death to take control of the match. A couple of moves later Castagnoli got the pinfall victory via a RICOLA BOMB.

Match #11: Nick Bockwinkel defeated Director of Fun Mr. Vega in a special attraction match

- Heenan, apparently still recovering from his loss to Del Rey, was noticeably absent from Bockwinkel's corner.

- Mr. Vega put up a good fight (Bockwinkel got 3 tokens added to his PIN rating) but Bockwinkel, from nearby Beverly Hills, got the win via the BOCKWINKEL SLEEPER.

Match #12, Big 12 Finals: Mike Quackenbush defeated Chuck Taylor to become the first CHIKARA Pacific Champion

- Taylor put up a good fight by surviving 5 pin attempts, but Quackenbush got the victory via QUACKENDRIVER II to become the first ever CHIKARA Pacific Champion!

- Los Awesomios concluded with Jigsaw and Eddie Kingston coming to the ring to congratulate Quackenbush and wrap the CHIKARA Pacific Championship around Quackendriver's waist.

Promoter's Note:

With the conclusion of Card #15 Los Awesomios, I am putting CHIKARA Pacific on hold. I am going to try to finish playing out (1 month of game time to go) Year Four and Year 3 of my LOW fed and LOTF fed respectively and then try to get get caught up in my GWF fed by Glalactical in late October. But when I return to this fed, CHIKARA Pacific will later resume where it left off at beginning with Card #16.
