RING OF HONOR TELEVISION 2014 Season Episode 14 Jay Lethal & ACH def. Rhett Titus & Matt Taven w/Truth Martini by pin Lethal started talking up Scarlett before the match and Titus intervened, competing for her attention. Truth and Taven impatiently told Rhett to get his head in the game. Titus carried his team. When Taven came in he was in constant jeopardy of being pinned. With Rhett back into the match, he turned things around and had ACH in trouble. Taven insisted on tagging back in and he continued to work on ACH but got cocky and let his opponent tag in his partner. Lethal rolled up Taven after a missed charge in the corner and JCH came out with the win. Rhett flirted with Scarlett as Taven picked himself up off the mat. Truth scolded Scarlett and told her to help Seleziya get Taven to the back. Homicide and Adam Cole Promo: “I knew I could make a man out of you, Adam. You’re more aggressive, you’ve done hardcore, you’ve beat Hero, the Young Bucks. I’m proud of you, Holmes. But you still need that big win. You need to take out someone that will earn you respect. “ “Like who?” “Heh, you know what? I want you to go out there next week and call out Michael Elgin. Tell him you want a TV title match and that you’re going to kick his ass. Let everyone know that’s how you do it.”Homicide slaps Cole on the chest and walks off camera leaving Adam with a worried look on his face. Roderick Strong def. Caprice Coleman by pin The ROH World Champion got dropped by an early punching combination from Caprice. Coleman missed a jump from the top rope and Roddy hit him with a Sick Kick for the easy win. INSIDE ROH: Ring of Honor returns to Toronto for Border Wars! Roderick Strong will defend the ROH World Championship against Kyle O’Reilly. Also scheduled, the Briscoe Brothers to take on Taven & Titus in a Proving Ground match! Bobby Fish def. AJ Styles by submission The main event left the crowd stunned as Fish decimated The Phenomenal One. A barrage of kicks, knees, and lariats had AJ reeling. Bobby took AJ to the outside and slammed him into the ring post, drawing blood and shocking ringsiders. Back in the ring, a Fish Hook made Styles tap out. Fish talked major smack to the crowd and asked if they still thought AJ should get a title shot. He mockingly shook the semi-conscious AJ’s hand, then leaned over the announce position and got in matchmaker Nigel McGuinness’ face. “Where's my title shot, mate ? Huh? That’s your contender there? Don’t make me laugh!” Next: Micahel Elgin makes his first defense of the ROH World Television Championship!

RING OF HONOR TELEVISION 2014 Season Episode 15 Kyle O'Reilly def. TaDarius Thomas by submission This match resembled a mixed martial arts competition more than a wrestling match. In the end it was O’Reilly wearing down TD with a Guillotine Choke that resulted in a tap out. Mike Bennett def. Jay Briscoe by DQ Bennett and Briscoe gave the fans a real slobber-knocker. It was a match–up of Mike’s power against Jay’s quickness with neither man able to establish consistent offense. Jay was eventually disqualified for putting Bennett through a table. INSIDE ROH: Next week, Ring of Honor presents Border Wars. Scheduled to appear is ROH World Champion Roderick Strong defending his title. The Briscoe Brothers will be in action, and The Fringe will also be on hand. And just announced: Bobby Fish takes on BJ Whitmer in a grudge match. All of this and much more next week from Toronto! Adam Cole came to the ring very straight-faced and took a serious tone when he got on the mic. “Michael Elgin, you need a challenger for the ROH World Television Championship and I am the man who is going to take that belt off of you tonight.”Elgin came out to a pop from the crowd. He gave Cole a questioning look before heading to the ring. After he stepped through the ropes, Cole got in his face and there was a stare-down that the referee had to separate. ROH WORLD TELEVISION CHAMPIONSHIPMichael Elgin def. Adam Cole by pin Cole threw a lot at Elgin but failed to do any real damage. The TV champ took over on offense and wasted no time putting the challenger away with a Spinning Sit-Out Powerbomb. Next: Border Wars!

BORDER WARS May 31 2014 Toronto, Canada TaDarius Thomas def. Tomasso Ciampa by pin TD dazzled Ciampa with his martial arts and pulled off the win with a Flurry of Capoeira Kicks. Mike Bennett def. Cedric Alexander by pin Alexander put up a good fight but, with the help of Maria, Bennett put Ced away with the Photo Finish. Jimmy Jacobs def. Jay Lethal by submission This wild match saw Jacobs twice use his Railroad Spike and both men battering each other against the timekeeper’s table but it was Jacobs putting Lethal out with The End of Time. Jacobs spit on Lethal after the ref raised his hand. The crowd threw trash at Jimmy as he headed to the back. Adam Cole def. Steve Corino by DQ Corino had Cole hurt right away but was disqualified only minutes into the match as he blasted Cole with a roll of quarters that exploded, showering coins all over the ring. Corino grabbed the mic from Bobby Cruise and told Cole that his buddy Homicide may have toughened him up but hasn’t taught him a thing about playing dirty. ACH def. Michael Elgin by pin ACH had the upset of the night, defeating the ROH World Television Champion in a non-title match. ACH withstood Elgin’s hard-hitting offense and used his amazing athleticism to come out on top with a Big Bang Attack. NO DISQUALIFICATION GRUDGE MATCHBJ Whitmer def. Bobby Fish by pin Fish came out running his mouth at the fans but BJ lit him up right away and had him on the run. Outside of the ring, Fish utilized a chair to take the advantage. Whitmer returned the favor and we had a fight! BJ’s brawling skills were pitted against Bobby’s strong striking. BJ came out on top, wearing Fish down and getting the three-count after a reverse DDT. PROVING GROUND MATCH Rhett Titus & Matt Taven w/Truth Martini def. Jay & Mark Briscoe by pin The team of Taven and Titus received a mixed reaction from the Toronto crowd. While Rhett was cheered, Taven and Truth heard the ire of the fans. Taven hogged the spotlight until the Briscoes started to outshine him. He tagged Rhett in who took a beating from the ROH World Tag Team Champions. With Titus in trouble, Taven and Truth had to combine their efforts to stave off a Briscoes win. The chaos and confusion created by the House of Truth allowed Rhett to tag out and put Taven in position to plant Jay with an Arm Trap Headlock Driver and get the upset win. While Taven celebrated, acting like he won the match all by himself, Scarlett fawned over the battered Titus, visibly displeasing Truth despite his team earning a tag team title shot. After the H.O.T. cleared out, The Fringe attacked. Ciampa tossed Mark out of the ring and they put the boots to Jay. Ciampa held Jay up as Jimmy prepared to spike him. Mark came to his brother’s rescue and Jacobs held Ciampa back, staring at Mark standing over his prone sibling. The Fringe retreated even though they seemed to have the advantage. ROH WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPRoderick Strong(c) def. Kyle O'Reilly by submission The main event was a little short. Strong and O’Reilly slugged it out but Roddy controlled most of the match. Kyle tapped out to the Strong Hold in under ten minutes. When Kyle offered to shake the winner’s hand, Strong took the mic and told him to get out of the ring and that he didn’t have time to shake hands with losers. Strong then went on to say that AJ Styles better be ready at Best In The World because Mr. ROH is ready to scratch another loser off the list. At that moment, very familiar music that has not been heard in ROH for quite some time played and the crowd popped huge as Kevin Steen came through the curtain. Strong looked completely stunned and the Canadian crowd went wild cheering their homegrown favorite. Current Rankings: - Roderick Strong
- Michael Elgin
- ACH
- Jimmy Jacobs
- Jay Lethal
- Kyle O'Reilly
- BJ Whitmer
- Bobby Fish
- AJ Styles
- Mike Bennett

I'm pretty shocked TD won over Ciampa, but that's a cool thing to see a victory like that. I really liked that Roderick Strong retained and I also liked that Whitmer won. Overall another fun event in your Ring of Honor...

Overall another fun event in your Ring of Honor... This is my third attempt at trying to build Ciampa up in this fed and it's not off to a good start. My dice just don't like him I guess. Roddy has been on a pretty impressive run as champion but his biggest test is right around the corner: AJ Styles.

Elgin does the job on his home turf. What is his visa status in your fed. Lol. Looks like his beef with ROH might be a work but who knows. Not sure that upset was as big as TD over Ciampa. Fun event with a number of surprise results. Steen appears at the end to save a less than stellar main event.

Fun event with a number of surprise results. Steen appears at the end to save a less than stellar main event. I would say that TD over Ciampa is the bigger upset on paper but in this fed Ciampa has never impressed whereas Elgin just went through the big feud with Shelton Benjamin and won Ladder War for the TV belt. Losing to the ACH just meant more in this situation I think. It worked out nice that I planned the Steen comeback because that main event was a stinker. Being it was in his home country, the crowd reaction gave the show the 'moment' it needed.

Uploaded to the Ring of Honor YouTube Channel: Kevin Steen: "I know I haven’t been in ROH for a long time now and I didn’t leave on the best of terms. I was essentially fired by the company and, honestly, I can’t really blame them. But I’ve been thinking about it lately, and I know my time in ROH is probably over, but I want to go out on a better note than I did over a year ago. So, Nigel McGuinness, I know you don’t owe me anything, and I know you probably don’t want anything to do with me but I’m going to be at Best In the World in Nashville. And if you let me, I would like to have one final match in ROH. I want to give my fans and my legacy in this company a respectable farewell."

RING OF HONOR TELEVISION 2014 Season Episode 16 Caprice Coleman def. TaDarius Thomas by DQ Caprice and TD put together an exciting match but when Coleman ended up outside of the ring, Steve Corino came out and put the boots to him. TD is disqualified. Corino got in the ring and, as Thomas looks to throw down with him, Steve is joined by Bobby Fish. Corino grabbed a mic and told TD to leave if he knew what was good for him. TD thought twice and retreated. Corino then turned to matchmaker Nigel McGuinness who was ringside commentating. Corino told Nigel that he could put an end this if he would just face him one on one. Fish and Corino went on to make disparaging remarks about the Brit’s courage and heritage, goading Nigel to stand up and take off his jacket. BJ Whitmer came to ringside to hold Nigel back. Nigel later apologized for losing his cool. Mike Bennett def. Kyle O'Reilly by DQ O’Reilly must have still been upset about his poor showing during his recent bid for the ROH World Championship. He came out on fire with several hard kicks on Bennett. An ankle lock had Bennett leave the ring to compose himself but Kyle followed and a brawl ensued at ringside. Kyle had Mike pinned against the barrier, raining kicks down on him. When he wouldn't heed the ref’s warnings, O’Reilly was disqualified. INSIDE ROH: Best In The World comes to you live from Nashville, TN! Roderick Strong defends the ROH World Championship against "The Phenomenal" AJ Styles! Homicide also returns to meet Mike Bennett in singles competition! Stay tuned for more announcements next week! ROH WORLD TELEVISION CHAMPIONSHIPMichael Elgin def. ACH by pin After his recent non-title win against the TV champion, ACH was awarded this title shot. ACH successfully evaded Elgin at first but was soon being leveled by multiple charging lariats. The pair fought outside of the ring where ACH got the upper hand and then almost won with a Big Bang Attack. Staying a step ahead of the champion using his fantastic agility, the challenger almost had Elgin submitting to a scorpion death lock. With the pressure mounting, Elgin overpowered his smaller opponent. ACH actually kicked out of one Spinning Sit-Out Powerbomb but not a second. Afterward, Elgin encouraged the crowd to applaud ACH. Next: ROH World Tag Team Championship! The Briscoe Brothers defend against Matt Taven and Rhett Titus!
