Uploaded to the Ring of Honor YouTube Channel: Down and Out in Sandy Fork.
Jay Briscoe stalks the farm grounds of Sandy Fork with intense purpose. He checks out buildings and vehicles. “Where you at, Chicken?”Finally, out behind one of the larger chicken coops, Jay comes across his quarry. His brother Mark sits with his back against the wall slumped over with an empty whiskey bottle on the ground at his feet. “There you are! I tell you what, you better not let Big Man catch you back here like this!”Mark looks up, one eye bleary, the other covered with a tattered bandage. “And what are you still wearing that bandage for?! You were supposed to have the doctor clear you a month ago!”Mark looks back down again and fumbles for the bottle on the ground. He tips it and lets it fall back into the dirt when he sees that it is empty. “What is wrong with you?! You better get your head straight, boy! We missed the Cincinnati show because you were nowhere to be found. We have to defend our tag team titles! I had to talk Nigel into putting it off until the TV tapings. If I have to whup your ass into shape I will!”Jay’s intense stare goes unnoticed by Mark, whose head rests on arms crossed over his knees. Jay shakes his head, then stomps off.

Crimson Cross - Strong and Daniels will be part of the main event program for the rest of the 2014 season. (with some other faces thrown in!) bookerbill - AJ Styles has not made the splash that I had anticipated. Loses to Fish and Taven were unexpected but it raised those two up some which works for me.
RING OF HONOR TELEVISION
2014 Season Episode 22 Adam Cole def. TaDarius Thomas by pin TD came out hot but Cole quickly recovered. Cole went for the pin on multiple occasions with TD kicking out. Each time he did so, Adam seemed to get more cross. With a little bit of viciousness, Cole gave his opponent some more punishment before finally putting Thomas away with the Florida Key. AJ Styles promo: “Bobby Fish, last week in Cincinnati, we had our rubber match that was supposed to settle once and for all who the better man was. But you had to push things too far and get yourself disqualified. You just don’t know when to quit, do you? You know, that gives me an idea. I say we go around one more time. And the only way to win is to make the other man quit. You like to talk a lot, Bobby, but I’m going to make sure the last thing that comes out of your mouth are the words ‘I quit’.” Tomasso Ciampa def. BJ Whitmer by pin It looked like BJ was done after an early Project Ciampa but he kicked out. After a big brawl at ringside, Tomasso went for Project Ciampa again but Whitmer still managed to kick out. Incensed, Ciampa gave BJ running knees in the corner then dragged his semi-conscious opponent to the center of the ring for the definitive pin. INSIDE ROH: Death Before Dishonor XII comes to you live from Chicago Ridge, IL with Champions vs. All-Stars! Also we will see the Ring of Honor debut of the Forever Hooligans as they take on the Young Bucks! More big announcements next week! Mike Bennett def. Christopher Daniels by DQ “The Fallen Angel” comes out to a big ovation but is quickly overwhelmed by Bennett with help from Maria. As “The Prodigy” sets up Daniels for his Box Office Smash finisher, Adam Cole runs in and cracks Bennett across the back with a steel chair. The referee calls for the bell as Cole heads back up the ramp grinning. Next: ROH World Tag Team Championship: The Briscoes defend against JCH!

RING OF HONOR TELEVISION
2014 Season Episode 23 Roderick Strong def. Caprice Coleman by submission Strong showed off his “Mr. ROH” plaque, waving it in the face of Coleman. Caprice tried to take it away but Roddy clutched it to himself protectively. Strong was favored but Coleman made him work for the victory. The match ended with a Strong Hold by the ROH World Champion. Mike Bennett came to the ring accompanied by Maria. He had a hard time getting out what he wanted to say because the fans jeered him every time he tried to speak. He was eventually able to deliver his message: he wanted this ‘thing’ with Homicide to end. He requested a match with The Notorious 187 at Death Before Dishonor in a few weeks. And because Adam Cole has made it a habit to get involved as well, he wanted the match to be inside a steel cage. The fans got a laugh out of this and Maria tried convincing him to reconsider. Bennett was resolute and Kevin Kelly commented that Bennett must have a death wish. As Bennett was about to leave, Adam Cole came through the curtain and approached the ring. Bennett and Maria insisted that ROH officials remove Cole. Adam complied and told Bennett the he was “dead” at Death Before Dishonor. Steve Corino def. AJ Styles by pin When Corino came to the ring, he made a move towards the announce position prompting Nigel McGuinness to stand, expecting trouble. Corino backed off and laughed. Steve jumped AJ at the Code of Honor. He used a foreign object and Nigel tried getting the ref’s attention to alert him of the illegal activity. Corino survived a Styles Clash and went on to get the win with an Old School Lariat. INSIDE ROH: This week, more big announcements for Death before Dishonor XII! Bobby Fish and AJ Styles look to settle things in a submission match. Just signed! Mike Bennett and Homicide meet in a Steel Cage! Tune in next week as we begin to announce the participants for Champions vs. All-Stars! ROH WORLD TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP Jay & Mark Briscoe def. Jay Lethal & ACH by pin Jay Briscoe came out fired up while his brother Mark just shuffled to the ring. Jay insisted Mark start the match against Lethal. Jay took advantage of the younger Briscoe’s low energy and Mark hastily tagged out. The Briscoes worked together to keep Lethal down but Mark just appeared to be going through the motions. With Lethal in bad shape, Mark pinned him after a Cut-Throat Driver while Jay blocked ACH from making the save. The convincing win was somewhat overshadowed by Mark Briscoe being out of sorts. Next: Michael Elgin defends the ROH World Television Championship against Matt Taven!

Uploaded to the Ring of Honor YouTube Channel: Kevin Steen has an offer for Nigel McGuinness.
“Nigel, you have to admit, I saved your ass back at Best In The World. Steve Corino and Rhino were going to take you out and I prevented that. I know you already turned me down once but I still want one final match in Ring of Honor. So maybe I can do you a favor if you grant me my wish. You give me Rhino at Death Before Dishonor, and I promise you, it will be the last you ever see of either of us in Ring of Honor.”

RING OF HONOR TELEVISION
2014 Season Episode 24 Rhett Titus def. Bobby Fish by pin Titus blitzed Fish and quickly finished him after a couple of Muff Drivers. Scarlett Bordeaux ran to ringside, excitedly cheering Rhett’s win. Truth Martini followed her out, grabbed her by the wrist and led her to the back. Roderick Strong in-ring promo: "Chris Daniels, I know you haven’t been around here for a while but we have something we call Champions versus All-Stars, and I’m a champion. You might have been an all-star once, Chris, but right now you’re just another guy fighting for a place on the roster. So I don’t know what makes you think you have any claim to being a contender for my ROH World Championship. And as far as ‘Mr. ROH’ goes, that’s me. You’re just ‘Mr. Some Guy Who Used To Wrestle In ROH’." Jimmy Jacobs def. Kyle O'Reilly by pin O’Reilly was aggressive trying to get the early advantage and fell victim to Jacobs' sneaky tactics. A low blow and feet on the ropes resulted in a pin for Jacobs. INSIDE ROH: Next week, Death Before Dishonor XII comes to you live from Chicago Ridge with Champions vs, All-Stars! We can now announce the teams for the big 8-man elimination match. For the Champions: ROH World Champion Roderick Strong will join ROH World Tag Team Champions Jay and Mark Briscoe. For the All-Stars: top contender Jimmy Jacobs will be joined by his JCH rivals Jay Lethal and ACH. The final spot on each team will be filled by the participants of tonight’s main event between Michael Elgin and Matt Taven for the ROH World Television Championship. Also on the card - The Forever Hooligans make their ROH debut against The Young Bucks. AJ Styles and Bobby Fish face off in a submission match, and Mike Bennett steps into a steel cage against Homicide! Plus many more stars of ROH will be on hand! ROH WORLD TELEVISION CHAMPIONSHIP Michael Elgin def. Matt Taven w/Truth Martini by pin Elgin mowed over Taven despite Truth trying to interfere. Uploaded to the Ring of Honor YouTube Channel: Nigel responds to Steen.
“Kevin, I saw your offer and heard what you had to say. While I do appreciate you lending a hand at Best In The World, I must once again decline your request to appear on a Ring of Honor pay-per-view. Not only have ROH and you parted ways but I have no intention of allowing Rhino to appear in an ROH ring. As for Steve Corino, that’s an internal matter that Ring of Honor will handle as deemed appropriate. Best of luck, mate.”

Crimson Cross - I use the YouTube uploads to tell a little more story without bogging down the shows. I'm glad you like them. DEATH BEFORE DISHONOR XII August 30, 2014 Chicago Ridge, IL Forever Hooligans def. The Young Bucks w/Truth Martini by DQ The Hooligans made their ROH debut. The crowd was behind them as they faced the hated House of Truth team. Matt and Nick Jackson really took it to Rocky Romero with double-team combos. Alex Koslov had to make the save after More Bang For Your Buck. Matt missed a jump from the top turnbuckle allowing Romero to tag out. Koslov got the same treatment as the Bucks were on fire. The Bucks were cocky until the Hooligans made their comeback and started dismantling Matt. The Hooligans used Contract Killer to set up the pin but Truth got onto the apron for the distraction. The Hooligans hit a second Contract Killer and this time Truth pulled the ref out of the ring to prevent the three count. At his limit with Truth’s antics, the referee disqualified the Bucks. SUBMISSION MATCHAJ Styles def. Bobby Fish by referee's decision The rivalry between these two opponents was only going to end when one man could make the other quit. Styles was in total control at the start. He tried the Calf Killer but Fish managed to escape. AJ was not above taking a chair to Bobby’s leg. Fish returned the favor later in the match as the two brawled at ringside. AJ used the Styles Clash a few times to weaken Fish and continued to work the Calf Killer until Bobby passed out from the pain. The referee stopped the match and Styles was declared the winner despite Fish never tapping out. After the match, Steve Corino and Rhino appeared, looking to take out AJ. As they gave Styles a beating, BJ Whitmer came out to help but got thumped as well. Nigel McGuinness stood up at the commentator’s position and threw off his jacket. He made the valiant mistake of stepping into the ring outnumbered. Corino and Rhino pounded on him some and Rhino set up to Gore Nigel when Kevin Steen’s music started to play. The crowd popped huge. Steen walked to the ring slowly, a sullen look on his face. Rhino stood, ready for the new arrival as Corino put the boots to Nigel some more. Steen showed no urgency to rescue McGuinness and Corino used the delay to get on the mic and coax Kevin to join them. Steve rubbed it in that Nigel repeatedly denied him a chance for a farewell match and that ROH was p*ssing on his legacy. Steen grabbed the ropes and slowly pulled himself onto the apron and stepped through the ropes. The fans were trying to dissuade Steen from joining Corino and some started a ‘No! No! No!’ chant. Steen asked Corino for the mic and looked down at Nigel: “Nigel, you should have accepted my offer…” Steve laughed and the fans were disheartened until Kevin turned and dropped Corino with a big right and booted Rhino in the gut and tossed him out of the ring. “...you would have saved yourself a lot of trouble. Now, are you going to let me do this or what?!”Nigel was on his knees and looked to the crowd who were in a frenzy. “Aw, what the hell. Kick his ass!”Rhino reentered the ring while Nigel dragged Corino to the floor and the match began. Kevin Steen def. Rhino by pin It was clear from the start that the referee wasn’t even going to try to maintain order in this one. Steen went for an early F-Cinq but Rhino easily kicked out. There was a lot of action outside of the ring that saw Steen come out on top. Rhino took a Package Piledriver and still managed to kick out. The two continued to wage war in and out of the ring until Steen once again used the Package Piledriver. This time the ref’s hand fell three times and Rhino was finished. Corino had to help Rhino leave, escorted by security summoned by McGuinness. Nigel got into the ring, shook Kevin’s hand and raising his arm as the crowd chanted ‘Thank you, Ke-vin!’ STEEL GAGE MATCHMike Bennett def. Homicide Bennett was surprisingly confident entering the cage against the man he claims has been ‘bullying’ him. Mike had a strong start, unleashing a lot of powerful offense against his opponent. Homicide prevented one escape attempt and nearly got out of the cage himself after giving Bennett Da Gringo Killer. Homicide continued to punish Bennett and went to his ghetto fork without fear of reprisale from the official. He sent Bennett face first into the cage a couple of times, bloodying him, and made a move for the cage door. Maria tried holding the door shut from the outside. This seemed to amuse Homicide. That is when Adam Cole came down to the ring and chased Maria away from the cage door. Then Adam pulled it open for Homicide to exit. However, just as Homicide stuck his head between the ropes, Cole slammed the door in his face. The crowd started jeering him and Bennett crawled to the door Cole was now holding open for him. A cheer rose from the crowd as Homicide grabbed the back of Bennett’s trunks at the last moment. Bennett turned back to Homicide and slammed his face into the chain link fencing. It was Homicide’s turn to get color. Bennett tried another escape after a Spear but The Notorious 187 caught him again. The two battled back and forth until Bennett hit the Box Office Smash. This was enough to allow him to escape the cage. Maria raised his hand and helped him to the back as Kevin Kelly railed against what had taken place with Cole’s interference. Cole grinned and leaned into the cage door and said “Who’s the b*tch, now?”Homicide flailed in his direction and Cole took it upon himself to retreat before the man he betrayed recovered enough to come after him. Homicide eventually got out of the cage and went into a fury, kicking and pulling at the barricade, throwing chairs and ring crew in anger. During intermission there was live footage of Jay Briscoe backstage, asking around about the whereabouts of his brother Mark and if anyone had seen him. Introductions were made for the participants in the main event. The Challengers team was led to the ring by Jimmy Jacobs but the tension between him and JCH was unmistakable. Matt Taven and the House of Truth did their own thing parading around the ring. The Champions team entered next and ROH World Champion Roderick Strong made sure his teammates didn’t step past him as he displayed his ‘Mr. ROH’ plaque until ROH World Television Champion Michael Elgin shoved past him. Very conspicuous by his absence was Mark Briscoe. It looked like Jay Briscoe would have to represent the ROH World Tag Team Champions by himself. Roderick Strong seemed unconcerned that a substitution would not be allowed for the missing half of the tag team champions until he heard that if any of the challengers could pin or make him submit they would get a future title shot against him. CHAMPIONS VS. ALL-STARSEight-Man EliminationRoderick Strong, Michael Elgin, & Jay Briscoe vs. Jimmy Jacobs, Jay Lethal, ACH, & Matt Taven w/Truth Martini Strong started out against Jacobs and Jimmy made it clear that he had his eye on the ROH World Championship. Strong throttles Jacobs at first but Jimmy reversed and got a two count before tagging in Taven. Taven instantly went for an Arm Trap Headlock Driver and scored the first pinfall! Truth was ecstatic as his man just earned a future title shot. The dejected Strong headed up the ramp but halted as Christopher Daniels stepped through the curtain. Roddy jumped the guardrail and left through the crowd. Roderick Strong is eliminated.Jay Briscoe entered on fire but Taven reversed him off the ropes and used the Arm Trap Headlock Driver again but it only resulted in a two count. Taven tagged in ACH. Jay and ACH traded until Briscoe tagged in Elgin. Elgin works over ACH getting a couple of near falls then tagged Briscoe back in. ACH fought back but failed to tag out and Briscoe put him down with a Jay Driller. ACH is eliminated. Lethal came in next and Briscoe worked him over some but got careless and fell victim to a roll up reversal by his opponent. Jay Briscoe is eliminated. Elgin was the sole remaining Champion. Lethal took more of a pounding but outmaneuvered his opponent again and got the near fall. Jacobs tagged himself in to Lethal’s displeasure. He took out Elgin with his Railroad Spike and the Champions were soundly defeated. Michael Elgin is eliminated. All-Stars win.Lethal expressed displeasure with how the victory played out but Jacobs just sneered at him with the spike in his mouth and the H.O.T. didn’t care because they had a title opportunity on the horizon. Current Rankings: - Roderick Strong
- Jimmy Jacobs
- Michael Elgin
- Matt Taven
- Jay Lethal
- Mike Bennett
- ACH
- Kyle O'Reilly
- Steve Corino
- Tomasso Ciampa
