RING OF HONOR TELEVISION 2013 Season Episode 15 The show opens with ROH World Tag Team Champions, Wrestling's Greatest Tag Team, and the number one contenders, the Young Bucks, in the ring. Introductions are made for this singles match between Shelton Benjamin and Matt Jackson. Before the match can start, matchmaker Nigel McGuinness intercedes: "Excuse me one moment gentlemen. Seeing as this is a one on one match, I'm going to ask Charlie Haas and Nick Jackson to leave the ring area. I don't want a repeat of what happened last week." Haas is angry but Nick nods his head and leaves. Haas is finally coaxed to the back by some referees. Shelton Benjamin def. Matt Jackson by pin Jackson jumps Shelton during the Code of Honor and has him stunned, getting a couple of early pin attempts. The two men exchange offense but eventually Benjamin starts battering Matt. Three consecutive turnbuckle powerbombs followed by a tombstone piledriver and Shelton gets the win. Adam Cole def. Michael Elgin by pin Elgin overpowers Cole early and hits him with a series of high impact moves. Cole turns things around after superplexing Elgin who was going for a deathjump. Elgin never gets back into the match and Cole utilizes the Florida Key for the huge win. Veda Scott interviews ROH World Heavyweight Champion Cedric Alexander. Cedric addresses Rhino's comments from last week: "Rhino, you say you're the true world champion in ROH? As far as I'm concerned, since I beat the man you never could, that makes me the top champion around here." ROH WORLD TELEVISION CHAMPIONSHIPRhino(c) def. Jay Lethal by pin Lethal began the match on fire but could not keep Rhino down. After Lethal missed an elbow from the top rope, it was all Rhino. Lethal survived two Gores but eventually the third one got him. Next week: ROH World Champion, Cedric Alexander, faces Roderick Strong in a non-title bout. And the Briscoes take on the House of Truth.

Some excellent action here for sure. Solid booking on each show. Interview segments are top notch and Alexander on top is great to see. It cannot possibly last long but it is fun when the dice shake things up every once in a while

Thanks for the comments bookerbill. I wish Cedric at least had a finisher so he would have a chance of holding onto it for a defense or two.

RING OF HONOR TELEVISION 2013 Season Episode 16 The Briscoe Brothers def. Mike Mondo & Kyle O'Reilly w/Truth Martini by pin The Briscoes smack O'Reilly around for a bit until he can tag in Mondo. Fearless charges Jay who ducks out of the way and is kung fu chopped by Mark from the corner. Jay rolls up Mondo for the three count. Martini complains to the ref and O'Reilly gives Mondo the business for losing the match. Mike Bennett def. Caprice Coleman by pin Coleman weathers a beating to turn the match into an even contest. Brutal Bob slugs Caprice while Maria distracted the ref, setting up the Prodigy for the Box Office Smash. The Young Bucks are interviewed by Veda Scott. Since Wrestling's Greatest Tag Team can't seem to finish a match without being disqualified, the Bucks want their upcoming title shot to be no disqualification. Roderick Strong def. Cedric Alexander by pin Roddy executes a series of backbreakers and applies the Strong Hold, defeating the ROH World Heavyweight Champion in a matter of minutes. This was a non-title bout but Roddy says he will see Alexander next week in Pittsburgh for the real deal. Next week: DVD taping from Pittsburgh PA.

Steel Town Beatdown May 25 2013 Pittsburgh PA Rhett Titus def. Mike Mondo w/Truth Martini by DQ This hard-fought match came to an end when Mondo, ignoring warnings from the referee, superplexed Titus through a ringside table and was disqualified. Mike Bennett def. Caprice Coleman by pin The Prodigy dominated this match and put Coleman away with the Photo Finish. Jay Lethal def. Eddie Edwards by pin This match was surprisingly one sided as Lethal controlled most of the match with a lot of big moves. Die Hard was pinned after a dragon suplex. Davey Richards def. Michael Elgin by DQ The American Wolf started off by really taking it to Elgin. But proving himself 'Unbreakable', Elgin took his turn smashing Richards. The match spilled out of the ring and Elgin was disqualified when he shoved the ref who was trying to break them up. Tomasso Ciampa w/Truth Martini def. El Generico by pin Ciampa overcame an early advantage by Generico with the help of Martini. Generico was pinned after Project Ciampa. Adam Cole def. Rhino by pin Cole got the upset win against the ROH Television Champion in this non-title bout. Cole used his speed to outmaneuver Rhino and pin him after a superkick. Rhino refused the Code of Honor after the match. ROH World Championship Roderick Strong def. Cedric Alexander by pin Strong easily defeated Alexander to become the new ROH champion. Strong started the match by kicking Cedric in the face and putting him in the Strong Hold. When Cedric wouldn't submit, Strong released the hold, scooped Alexander up and delivered a Tombstone Piledriver for the win. Strong unceremoniously takes the belt from referee Todd Sinclair and leaves the ring as if it were his to begin with. ROH World Tag Team Championship No Disqualification Wrestling's Greatest Tag Team def. The Young Bucks by pin Charlie Haas and Matt Jackson start the match. At the lock up, Haas sandbags Jackson. He kicks Matt hard in the back and T-Bone suplexes him and cinches in a cradle. Referee Paul Turner starts to make the count and pauses before three as he looks to the ringside officials but has no choice but to make the final slap on the mat. Benjamin grabs the belts from the officials table and WGTT hurriedly leave the ring area. The Bucks look confused and the fans are left not knowing what just happened. Current Rankings:Singles: 1. Rhino refused the Code of Honor after the match. Looking forward to seeing Cole receive an opportunity to take the ROH Television Championship from Rhino down the line.

RING OF HONOR TELEVISION 2013 Season Episode 17 The show opens with Nigel McGuinness in the ring to address the incident that occurred at the end of the house show last week in Pittsburgh. He explains that sometimes wrestlers go into business for themselves and that Charlie Haas did just that in the main event last week. When they sacrifice the good of the company to satisfy their own ego, it cannot go unanswered. Charlie is officially fired from the company and Wrestling's Greatest Tag Team are stripped of the ROH World Tag Team Championship. He then calls Shelton Benjamin to the ring and says he can keep his job if he returns the title belts to him right now. Shelton comes down to the ring with the belts and explains that it was all Charlie and that he shouldn't have gone along with it. Nigel says he is suspending him. Shelton accepts his punishment and we go to commercial. FOUR CORNER SURVIVALMike Bennett def. Eddie Edwards, Rhett Titus, and Caprice Coleman Edwards spent most of the time in the ring getting some near falls against Coleman but it was Bennett who got the win over Eddie with the Box Office Smash. Davey Richards def. El Generico by pin At first this match went back and forth with neither man getting a solid advantage. Then they pulled out the stops and it became a hard hitting affair which turned into a lot of brawling at ringside. Richards finally gets the pin after an Alarm Clock. There is hesitation on both men's parts but they obey the Code of Honor. Adam Cole gives a promo about his Television title shot next week against Rhino. He says history will repeat itself and he will beat him like he did last week. Tomasso Ciampa w/Truth Martini def. Cedric Alexander by pin Ciampa quickly took control of this match and picked up the win after a top rope cross body. Next week: Rhino vs. Adam Cole for the ROH Television Championship.

Next week: Rhino vs. Adam Cole for the ROH Television Championship. Nice. This is the one I've been waiting for. Can Rhino find an answer to Cole's speed advantage and down the challenger or will we see the TV strap transferred to a new owner...

RING OF HONOR TELEVISION 2013 Season Episode 18 Roderick Strong def. Kyle O'Reilly w/Truth Martini by pin The new ROH World Champion faces the House of Truth member. O'Reilly gets the early advantage but Roddy quickly turns it around and puts a beating on his young opponent. After Martini distracts the referee a couple of times, Strong clobbers him. This gives O'Reilly the chance to get an advantage but it is short lived and he is put down with a Sick Kick. Jay Lethal def. Michael Elgin by pin Jay Lethal is on fire as Elgin gets no offense in. After several near falls, the Lethal Injection finishes Elgin. Inside Ring of Honor features Kevin Kelly discussing the tag team title situation. After stripping the championship from Wrestling's Greatest Tag Team, Nigel McGuinness has ruled that at Best In The World on June 30th, the Briscoes will face the Young Bucks to determine the new champions. ROH WORLD TELEVISION CHAMPIONSHIPRhino(c) def. Adam Cole by DQ The Code of Honor is forgotten as fists start flying. Cole soon finds himself being mauled by the TV champion. Rhino hurls him out of the ring and in an act of self-preservation, Cole defends himself with a steel chair and is disqualified. The fight continues after the bell and the men have to be separated by security. We haven't seen the last of this rivalry... Next week: Tomasso Ciampa takes on Davey Richards with number one contender implications.
