Moose continues to do his job and Lethal gets the win over Rowe as a result... Affluence stays on top by remaining calm and in control at all times... It's going to take quite the calamity to knock this group off its game...
Truly enjoying Sabin's storyline and can't wait to see where it takes him... Awesome work!

I have to agree with Pariah in that the Chris Sabin storyline is great, there is no telling what he might do. I am looking forward to the reveal of Jay Lethal's opponent and I am pulling for ACH who has been put through hell by Affluence. I also can't wait for the return of the "Caveman" Mark Briscoe. Great action here as always.

Pariah - He probably won't get the credit from Affluence but Moose is the reason they are in the position they're in. cruefan68 - Nigel is close to a decision on Lethal's next challenger. The reveal will be on episode 12. ACH has to be considered a contender but we will have to wait and see. Chris Sabin's intentions become clearer this episode. Or maybe more obscured... Thanks for following along, guys!
RING OF HONOR TELEVISION
2016 Season Episode 11 Christopher Daniels def. Hanson by pin Chris Sabin joined Kevin Kelly again this week on commentary. Christopher Daniels paused at the commentary position and greeted Sabin and appeared to whisper something to him. Kevin Kelly remarked to Sabin that it seemed like the two of them were being chummy lately. Sabin replied that it was just professional courtesy and mutual respect. Kevin was dubious. “The Fallen Angel” attacked at the Code of Honor, getting the jump on his opponent. The ill-gotten advantage didn’t last long as Hanson began bashing Daniels all over the ring. Daniels turned things around and had an effective roll against the bigger man including a near fall following a reverse STO. Hanson returned fire and was beating Daniels down. At one point, as Hanson made a pin attempt, Sabin threw a plastic cup in the ring, presumably to distract the referee. Kevin Kelly asked him what he was doing and just said “It slipped”. Hanson caught a knee as he charged into the corner and Daniels delivered a Death Valley Driver for the pin. Daniels high-fived Sabin on his way out and Kevin was critical of it. “What?” Sabin blurted indignantly. “I can’t congratulate the guy?” Matt Taven def. Matt Sydal by pin After his entrance, Sydal gazed disapprovingly at his onetime would-be partner, Sabin. Chris waved and said “Hi, Matt.” Taven made his cocky entrance and leaned through the ropes, showing Sabin his ROH World Tag Team Championship belt: “There’s gold in The Kingdom, Chris!” Sabin commented that he would call this one as “Friendly Matt” versus “Unfriendly Matt”. Taven and Sydal were coming off the the Tag Wars finals at Conquest where the match had to be stopped because of how badly The Kingdom was hurting Sydal’s partner Caprice Coleman. Taven used his size advantage to ragdoll Sydal. Taven hit the Climax but Sydal kicked out at one. Taven with his finisher again then got a two count. Shortly, a third Climax finished Sydal. Sabin laughed. “Now do you see why I didn’t want to team with him, Kevin Kelly?” INSIDE ROH: Ring of Honor presents Supercard of Honor live from Dallas, TX! We have some huge matchups to announce! ROH World Television Champion Jay Briscoe came to the ring with something to say. “Hey! Hey! I wanna tell you all somethin’. A couple of weeks ago, Adam Page got a Proving Grounds match to see if he would get a shot at this here World Television title. Well, as happens to be the case in all of my matches, I whooped his ass. So as far as ROH is concerned, he didn’t prove himself. But you know what? He proved something to me. That sumb**ch gave me a hell of a fight. So I told Nigel McGuinness that I want to give him a shot at this belt anyway. So, Adam Page, get yo ass out here! Time to man up!”ROH WORLD TELEVISION CHAMPIONSHIPJay Briscoe def. Adam Page w/Truth Martini by pin Paged was amped up for this match with Truth Martini providing further motivation. “How many chances is this guy going to get?” Sabin queried. “It seems to me that Jay Briscoe is protecting himself, fighting guys he knows he can beat instead of someone like me.”Briscoe was ready to fight, blasting Page with a Yakuza Kick at the Code of Honor. Jay Driller and it was over! Truth was in shock. Jay shook the prone Page’s hand and said “That’s how it’s done, boy!”“Not very sportsmanlike,” was Sabin’s comment. Next: Michael Elgin takes on Donovan Dijak!

I always enjoy the pace of this fed. Great action and the write ups are stellar. Enjoyed ACH getting the big win but it is hard to see him getting the shot at Lethal. Jay Briscoe looks impressive as the TV champ. Awesome choice going with the match with Page and solid creativity with the promo setting up the match.

The clever (and flippant) remarks from Sabin on commentary added a ton of great character to an already exceptional show... As stated by our friend, bookerbill, the pacing is always perfect and you describe the action flawlessly... Only two weeks until Supercard of Honor... Awesome work!

The great buildup for Supercard of Honor continues as does the intrigue surrounding Chris Sabin. Is he now aligned with Christopher Daniels? Who knows but I am enjoying the guessing game. Loved that quick win by Jay Briscoe in the main event and the post-match Code of Honor. That was classic.

bookerbill - ACH has that non-title win going for him but will it be enough to get the title match? Adam Page had been giving Jay Briscoe his only competition as of late. Jay put a stop to that! Pariah - I think Sabin is so much more entertaining IRL when he's not being a straight babyface. It was fun having him do commentary. cruefan68 - Where Sabin and Daniels stand is addressed in this episode. Thanks for reading and the compliments guys! On with the show...
RING OF HONOR TELEVISION
2016 Season Episode 12 Adam Cole def. Rhett Titus by pin Cole easily won this one-sided match with the Florida Key. ROH matchmaker Nigel McGuinness commented to announcer Kevin Kelly that Cole should be the number one contender to Jay Lethal’s ROH World Championship but since Cole and Lethal were both part of Affluence, he couldn’t allow them to collude and potentially harm the integrity of Supercard of Honor’s main event title match. After the break, Nigel McGuinness was in the ring. He announced that if Chris Sabin could defeat Moose in the next match, he would go on to Supercard of Honor to challenge Jay Lethal. Otherwise, despite his recent loss to Sabin, ACH would be named number one contender, due to his having a non-title win over Lethal. Whichever of the two that did not face Lethal, would instead challenge Jay Briscoe for the ROH World Television Championship on the same night. Chris Sabin vs. MooseMoose was accompanied to the ring by Christopher Daniels. Sabin looked apprehensive. After introductions were made, Daniels got into the ring and asked for the mic from ring announcer Bobby Cruise. Nigel was miffed. “What is he doing?”“Pardon the interruption,” Daniels began. “I would just like to thank Chris Sabin for being a true professional and a shining example the rest of ROH can strive to live up to. I want Chris to know that he is a good friend and Affluence treats their friends well.”Kevin Kelly was rightfully suspicious of the proceedings. “What is Christopher Daniels up to?”“This is a big scary man right here," Daniels indicated Moose. "I wouldn't want to be standing across the ring from him. So Chris, let Affluence show you our appreciation and do you a big favor. Moose, go to the back.”Moose looked incredulous and began to question the Ring General, who held up a hand to silence him, further irking the big man. “Moose. Go. To. The back.” The disgruntled Moose left. Daniels shook Sabin’s hand. He then turned, pointed at Nigel and winked, then departed as well. McGuinness stood up, brow furrowed. The official in the ring looked to him to make the call. Sabin was awarded the win by forfeit and, by default, became the number one contender. Chris was all smiles as he shrugged and acted like he couldn’t believe his good fortune. “This is ridiculous,” McGuinness blurted. He excused himself and headed to the back as well. Be there for the best wrestling on planet - Ring of Honor! Michael Elgin def. Donovan Dijak w/Truth Martini by pin Even the huge Dijak could not put Elgin down with a shoulder tackle and he ended up taking a Buckle Bomb for trying. Donovan tried a vertical suplex and Big Mike blocked it and countered with an amazing stalling suplex of his own. Elgin followed up with a corkscrew splash for the three count. Next: Supercard of Honor!

Where Sabin and Daniels stand is addressed in this episode. I'm glad you used the word 'addressed' and not 'resolved'... LOL! So, Christopher Daniels basically handed Sabin a shot at Lethal's title... Is Sabin expected to pay back the favor at Supercard of Honor? Something tells me that Affluence might be in for a rude awakening... Will Sabin carry some gold into the Kingdom? Sorry... Couldn't help myself... Can't wait!

Wow what a turn of events and Moose has to be seriously pissed off. Chris Sabin backs into the ROH Heavyweight title shot with Jay Lethal at Supercard of Honor thanks to Christopher Daniels. I have no words except to say that I feel that Moose might have something to say about all of this. That really set the stage for a huge night at Supercard of Honor, can't wait to see what happens.

Pariah - Quite the conspiracy theory you have there. Let's see if it holds any water... cruefan68 - There is no doubt Moose is about at his breaking point. This will have to come to a head soon, right? Thanks for the comments guys. Now it's time for the big show! SUPERCARD OF HONOR X April 30, 2016 Dallas PRE-SHOW PROMO - Silas Young“Mark Briscoe, I'm sick and tired of this company treating you and your brother like prima donnas. All I hear about is how you two have been here since day one. You were a couple of wet-behind-the-ears punks who have been mollycoddled ever since. Well I’ve had enough of it. You two are just a couple of little boys who’ve been treated like you were real men for so long that you actually believe it. Well it’s time someone changed that. And that someone is me. Time to man up? You don't know the meaning of the word ‘man’.”FOUR CORNER SURVIVALAdam Cole def def. Donovan Dijak, Roderick Strong, and BJ WHitmer Dijak started out against Whitmer. Donovan withstood most of BJ’s offense and blasted him with Feast Your Eyes. Strong broke up the pin and tagged himself in when DIjak confronted him about it. BJ caught Roddy and gave him a superplex for a two count then tagged out to Cole. Strong worked Cole over but Adam turned things around and got a two count out of a Florida Key. Dijak slapped Cole on the back and told him to beat it. Roddy outmaneuvered the big man and in an amazing show of strength, put him down with a Gibson Driver for a two count. BJ tagged back in against Dijak. The big man battered Whitmer until BJ could tag out to Cole. Cole took over and won the match with the Florida Key on Dijak. Adam Page w/Truth Martini def. Matt Sydal by DQ Page used the Code of Honor to get a cheap shot in on Sydal. Moments later Page hit his Rite of Passage finisher but only got a two count. Frustrated with not getting the easy win, Adam took the fight to the floor. While Martini distracted the ref, Page used a steel chair on Matt. When Sydal retaliated by bashing Page’s face into the timekeeper’s table, the ref caught it and disqualified him. The crowd was angry with the decision and Truth defended it as the right call. Mark Briscoe def. Silas Young by pin Mark got a big welcome back cheer from the fans. Silas was his usual disgusted self. Young had the early advantage, earning a two count with a bypass clothesline. Briscoe used his agility to get on track and use a Cut-Throat Driver for a short two. Redneck Kung-Fu for a near fall and the crowd was loving it. A lot more Redneck Kung-Fu and another Cut-Throat Drive but Silas kicked out. Mark came off the top rope with Froggy Bow and Silas kicked out again. Silas took a royal ass-kicking but came back during a big brawl on the floor. Young worked a Stock Lock for a while then hit a Pee Gee Waja Plunge for a near fall. Silas whipped Mark into the corner and was nearly decapitated on the rebound with a lariat. Briscoe cradled for the pin. It was a hard-fought win for Mark and it was sure to have knocked the rust off after his time away. Christopher Daniels w/Kazarian def. Michael Elgin by DQ Elgin could not have been pleased with Kazarian’s presence at ringside but he was used to being outnumbered by Affluence. Daniels’ opening shots were ineffective but he was able to put Elgin down with a Death Valley Driver for the pin attempt with Mike kicking out at the last moment. Another DVD saw Elgin roll out of the ring to gather his wits. Kazarian encroached and Daniels fell in behind Mike. Big Mike snapped and picked up the timekeeper's table and charged Kaz with it, driving him into the barricade. He then turned and heaved it at Daniels, flattening him. The ref had lost control and disqualified Elgin who needed to be restrained by security. Elgin’s frustration had got the better of him and Affluence once again capitalized. War Machine def. The Young Bucks by DQ Matt and Nick Jackson were looking to make up for their poor performance when they lost to War Machine during Tag Wars. Matt started out against Raymond Rowe. Matt escaped a Saito suplex attempt and went for a back rake that Rowe no-sold and ended up getting dumped on his head with a T-Bone suplex. Another suplex and Ray dumped Matt to the floor. When Rowe gave pursuit, Matt picked up the ring bell and clocked him with it. The DQ came down and the Bucks beat feet to avoid the angered pair of Rowe and Hanson. The fans hated the abrupt ending to the match. ROH WORLD TELEVISION CHAMPIONSHIPJay Briscoe def. ACH by pin ACH struck fast with an enzuigiri in the corner that rocked Jay. ACH kept the pressure on getting a two count after a Dragon Fly. A Superhero Grip caused Briscoe to retreat to the floor. ACH made the mistake of following him out. Briscoe lit him up and slammed his head against the apron. Back in the ring he went for a Jay Driller to end it fast. ACH defiantly kicked out at one. Briscoe continued the beating and used the Jay Driller again and again only got a one count. Jay Driller number three was more than ACH could take and he was added to the growing list of people who have had their asses handed to them by Briscoe. ROH WORLD TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIPThe Kingdom vs. reDRagon Kyle O’Reilly was returning from a neck injury he suffered at the hands of The Kingdom when Michael Bennett gave him a piledriver on the ring apron. It would be those two starting the match. In a slick opening sequence, Kyle tried to butterfly suplex Bennett but Mike blocked and picked up O’Reilly for a spinebuster. As he brought O’Reilly to the mat, Kyle locked on a triangle choke. Later, Bennett tried a spinebuster again, and again, Kyle used it to apply a submission. This time it was a guillotine choke that had Mike in trouble. Kyle transitioned into Armageddon and switched from one arm to another as Bennett tried to escape. Mike was close to tapping out but made it to the ropes. Bobby Fish tagged in and soon Bennett was taking a powder, looking to Maria to be consoled. Matt Taven finally tagged in and went to work on Bobby. The Kingdom got in a few double team superkicks that had O’Reilly steaming in his corner. Fish fought his way back and made the hot tag. Taven kept the advantage on Kyle and The Kingdom combined for the Hail Mary piledriver. It looked over but Kyle kicked out at 3 ⅞. Bennett missed a superkick and O’Reilly dropped him with Axe and Smash. Kyle slapped on Armageddon and it looked like Bennett was going to tap out. Taven made the save and Fish came in too and the match broke down into a brawl. The ref ended up throwing the match out as the teams wound up fighting on the floor, not heeding the official. Another decision that didn’t sit well with the fans. It was time for the main event and everyone in the building was anxious to see what was going to happen after what occurred on ROH Television last week. Chris Sabin entered, appearing confident. ROH World Champion Jay Lethal came out with the entirety of Affluence. In the ring, Sabin was engulfed by Ring of Honor’s leading faction. Christopher Daniels and Sabin exchanged words. Everyone was smiles. Lethal’s entourage got out of the ring and the introductions were made. RING OF HONOR WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPChris Sabin def. Jay Lethal by pin The bell rang and Lethal and Sabin stood regarding each other. Lethal looked to Daniels and the Ring General shouted to Sabin: “Time to do the favor, Chris! Do this and there’s a spot in Affluence for you!”On commentary, ROH matchmaker Nigel McGuinness was uneasy. Chris looked around a moment then sat down on the canvas. Some boos started coming from the crowd. Sabin asked “Like this?” and laid down in the center of the ring. Daniels stepped over to the announce position and said “You’ve been played again, Nigel. Hahahah!”Nigel was perturbed and stood up wanting to take action but not sure what to do. A wicked smile crossed Lethal’s face as he stepped towards his prone opponent. The boos were loud now and some debris was being thrown at the ring. Lethal started to kneel to cover Sabin when Chris reached up and rolled him into a small package. The place popped as the ref counted two. Daniels had his hands on his head in shock. Lethal made a frantic kick out and Nigel shouted “Yes!” The match was on. Jay charged Chris and Sabin caught him and hung him from the corner in a Tree of Woe, ran to the other corner then turned back and drilled him with a Hesitation Dropkick. Lethal slumped to the mat. Superkick, German suplex, diving bulldog, and a cover. Lethal kicked out at two and the crowd was on their feet. Hail Sabin and Affluence were threatening to jump in the ring. Jay kicked out again. Chris climbed to the top rope and surveyed the members of Affluence gathered at ringside before nailing Lethal with a missile dropkick. He hefted the champion onto his shoulders again, setting up his finisher. Affluence were set to act but were stymied by new arrivals at ringside. Donovan Dijak charged down the aisle and took out Daniels and Kazarian with a double clothesline from behind. Moose turned to see what was going on and ate a boot from Dijak. Adam Cole climbed onto the ring apron but Adam Page pulled his feet out from under him and he went crashing to the floor. Page then came off the ring apron with a shooting star press, neutralizing Cole. With emphasis, Chris brought Lethal crashing to the mat with Hail Sabin and the ref counted a solid three. The place was going crazy and Kevin Kelly was asking what just happened. As the ROH World title belt was handed to Sabin, Truth Martini slowly walked out holding the Book of Truth overhead, laughing. Martini, Dijak, and Page joined Sabin in the ring as Carey Silken strapped the belt around the new champions waist. The House of Truth had just pulled off the biggest coup in ROH history. Current Rankings:
ROH World Champion - Chris Sabin
- Jay Lethal
- Adam Cole
- Jay Briscoe
- Michael Elgin
