The fans in Baltimore received a special treat with that six-man main event... And once again, the House of Truth get one over on Affluence... Things have not been going well for Lethal and his crew and one has to think that it might be time for a big shakeup... If that were to happen, the question is - Who winds up with the short end? On the surface, it seems obvious that Daniels could find himself without a home... BUT, maybe Cole (who is one of the most conniving individuals around) will see this as his chance to claim the top spot in the faction... If he can convince the ring general that Lethal is the one letting them down... Well, who knows? All I can say is that I'm excited to see what will happen at Death Before Dishonor... Awesome stuff, as always!

It's always fun seeing a house show and that was a killer six-man tag main event. Chris Sabin looks really strong as ROH Heavyweight champion and I have to wonder who will stop him. Really looking forward to Death Before Dishonor XIV.

Pariah - Affluence can't help but realize that a change is needed. But what form will that take? All I will say is, Adam Cole has a plan of his own. cruefan68 - Sabin is meeting my expectations as world champ so far. A tough challenge awaits him at DBD. His challenger will be revealed on Episode 24! Uploaded to the Ring of Honor YouTube Channel: Kingdom-lessMatt Taven is backstage and he approaches The All Night Express, Rhett Titus and Kenny King, boisterously conversing. When they see him, they straighten up and adopt a serious stance. Taven - âHey-ey Rhett, buddy! Remember when we were tearing it up as a tag team? We worked pretty good together. I know youâve gotten back together with your partner here but it looks like you have room for a third. What do you say? We can make things happen.â
Titus - âYo, if I remember right, you never liked me. And I sure as hell didnât like you. So donât go actinâ like weâre homies or somethinâ.â
King - âAnd since we just established that you ainât running with usâŚâ
Titus - â...you better be runninâ from us!â
King - âGet to steppinâ, punk.â
Taven - âAll right, all right! Jeez.â
King - âWhat was that fool thinking?â
Titus - âStraight trippinâ cuz.â

Pariah - I also get a kick out of Taven and am looking forward to getting cards for the rest of the new Kingdom. Until then he's looking for a place to fit in. Plenty of more Taven to come.
RING OF HONOR TELEVISION
2016 Season Episode 22 Silas Young def. Caprice Coleman by pin Silas was his usual likable self, overreacting to a fan who touched him as he came down the aisle. Coleman got off to a fast start, prompting Young to escape to the floor where he seized the advantage. Caprice took some punishment before dodging a running high knee in the corner. Coleman went for the cover, barely getting a one count. Silas took it home after a series of Last Real Man Lariats, pinning Coleman with a Pee Gee Waja Plunge. ROH WORLD TELEVISION CHAMPIONSHIPBJ Whitmer def. Adam Page(c) w/Truth Martini by pin Whitmer caused Truth Martini to fret early as he looked good against Page in the opening moments. Adam reversed a whip into the corner and nailed BJ with a lariat on the rebound. Climbing to the top, Page nearly scored the pin with a flying cross body. It wasnât long before BJ was making his comeback. A big superplex and a hook of the leg had Page in a pinning predicament. Truth tried to divert the refâs attention but was unsuccessful as the three count was made and Whitmer was crowned the new Television Champion. Donovan Dijak ran down to the ring looking to avenge the lose for the House of Truth but Whitmer avoided the ambush. ROH Update with Stokely HathawayâDeath Before Dishonor is just three weeks away and things are gearing up for it to be one of our biggest events of the year. While some of the matches still need to be finalized, we can reveal a couple of things at this time. reDRagon/All Night Express 3 will be a featured match, contested for the ROH World Tag Team Championship. When last these two teams met, Rhett Titus was injured by Kyle OâReilly, so payback is also on the line for ANX. Chris Sabin will defend the ROH World Championship and his options for opponent are still being weighed by ROH officials. And we canât forget the finals of the Whoâs the Better Briscoe Challenge! Dem Boys have one last hurdle to prove who is the toughest Son of Sandy Fork! Tune in next week for more announcements!âStokely Hathaway was in the ring following the break. He said he had a big announcement to make before bringing the Briscoe Brothers out for their next challenge. Stokely stated that being ROH Ambassador was a big job, so Ring of Honor has brought in someone to give him a little help. With that, he introduced his new assistant, Veda Scott. The plucky redhead came out to the approval of the crowd and promised to join Stokely in making the ROH experience the best it can possibly be for the fans. Hathaway then introduced Jay and Mark Briscoe for the Whoâs the Better Briscoe Challenge. Once in the ring, Jay gave Veda the once over and Mark scolded him, reminding him that he was a married man. Stokely turned the mic over to Jay, whoâs turn it was to pick an opponent for Mark. âChicken, you got me good last time. Jay Lethal. Damn son. And I didnât get the job done. No way Iâm taking it easy on you this time.ââSince when have you ever taken it easy on me?â Mark replied. âPoint taken. Now, Stokely would you agree with me that everyone in Affluence is a tough sonuvab***c, not just Jay Lethal?â Stokely nodded with confidence. âWell, I guess whatâs good for the goose is good for the chicken. I had to face Lethal, that means you have to face⌠Adam Cole!âMark sneered, nodding slowly. Cole appeared through the curtain, not looking pleased. He protested his involvement in the Briscoes contest to Kevin Kelly but Kevin told him to bring it up with matchmaker Nigel McGuinness. The reluctant Cole got into the ring as Jay sat down with Kevin and Steve Corino at the commentary table. WHOSE THE BETTER BRISCOE CHALLENGEAdam Cole def. Mark Briscoe by pin Cole came out aggressive on offense culminating in an early attempt to end it with a Florida Key but Mark kicked out before the ref even started to count. Cole remained determined and did not relent. Jay commented that his brother better get it in gear or it was going to be a short night for him. A superkick to the back of the head looked to end it but Briscoe got a shoulder up at two. Mark bought himself some time as he caught Adam with a DDT as he came off the ropes. Mark frantically climbed to the top rope for Froggy Bow. Cole kicked out at two and Jay said âToo soon, too soonâ. Cole withstood a flurry from Mark then stole the momentum, locking in a figure four leglock, looking for the submission. Mark would not give up and the frustrated Cole went for the Florida Key again, resulting in a pinfall. Jay was honestly disappointed but mentioned that they were once again tied in the competition and that they would settle things at Death Before Dishonor.

Rough loss for the younger Briscoe brother... It's been an exciting competition up to this point and I can't wait to see how this sibling rivalry plays out...
Congratulations to Whitmer on becoming the new TV champ - I assume you are still using his original card...
Death Before Dishonor is still a little ways out and I'm looking forward to the build up to see who will challenge Sabin for the top prize...
Excellent show!

Another great edition of ROH TV and with history made as BJ Whitmer takes the television title from Adam Page. That was a big blow for the House of Truth and Whitmer even avoided the post-match attack by Donovan Dijak adding to his big win. Very cool to see the Whose the better Briscoe challenge tied up and that was a shrewd move by Jay picking Adam Cole as the opponent for Mark. Two can play at that game "Caveman"! I like the addition of Veda Scott as the assistant for Stokely Hathaway. You never know what trouble she is going to stir up. I am really looking forward to DBD and seeing just who will challenge Chris Sabin for the world title.

Pariah - Down the stretch, the Briscoes have fallen off, so I hope the final challenges at DBDH close the WBBC on a high note. And yes, I am still using the original Whitmer card. bookerbill - Thanks for the kind words! cruefan68 - Beating Page for the TV title has put Whitemr in the cross hairs of the House of Truth as you'll soon see. I thought Mark Briscoe would do better against Adam Cole but the lose brings the competition closer between the siblings so it may be for the better. Veda Scott cause trouble? Come on now... Next episode we will see a potential challenger for Sabin emerge. Thanks to everyone for reading and commenting! Uploaded to the Ring of Honor YouTube Channel: Kingdom-less Pt. 2The Young Bucks are bragging about their t-shirt sales to each other when Matt Taven walks up smiling. Taven - âHey, guys. Whatâs going on?â
Matt and Nick Jackson coldly stare at him, not responding. Taven - âMan, I was thinking about when we were the guys in this company who were showing everyone how it was done. Wouldnât it be great if, you know, we got back together and started superkicking all of the Melvins around here.â
Matt looks at Nick. Matt - âNick, I seem to remember this guy and Truth Martini selling us out to Affluence.â
Nick - âThatâs how I remember it, too. It cost us the ROH World Tag Team Championship.â
Taven - âGuys, I had nothing to do with that. That was all Truth. I quit after that!â
Matt - âGet out of here, Taven. We want nothing to do with you.â
Nick - âIâd listen to him. Unless you want an invitation to a superkick party.â
Taven - âIâm going, Iâm going!â
Taven starts to walk away. Matt - âHey, Taven. Wait a minuteâŚâ
Taven turns around, hopeful, only to see Nick laying on the floor crotching-chopping in his direction. Nick - âSUCK IT!â

RING OF HONOR TELEVISION
2016 Season Episode 23 Matt Taven def. Jay Briscoe by pin Taven had the early advantage, twice getting a near fall with the Climax. Matt took to the air with a clothesline from the top rope but went to the well one too many times. Briscoe caught him on his second try and, with an impressive show of strength, flipped Taven onto his shoulders and brought him down with a Death Valley Driver for a two count. Jay took Taven to the floor but paid for it as Matt sent him into the ring post. Taven was in the driverâs seat and didnât let up on the gas as he rolled to a huge victory against Briscoe with a third and final Climax. Jay Lethal & Moose vs. War Machine no contest Lethal, the ace of Affluence, teamed with his bodyguard Moose for tonightâs match against War Machine. Hanson and Raymond Rowe were one of the primary reasons Lethal brought on Moose to protect him. The match never officially started as War Machine attacked the members of Affluence before they even got into the ring. Even though there wasnât an actual match, the fans were not disappointed as the ensuing brawl took some time for ROH officials to curtail. The aftermath saw chairs scattered around ringside, sections of barricade collapsed, and battered security personnel staggering away. Kevin Kelly and Steve Corino regrouped at the commentary position after the action nearly fell into their laps. Kevin observed that the animosity between Affluence and War Machine obviously didnât die down and that this may be far from finished. ROH Update with Stokely HathawayâWelcome ROH fans! With Death Before Dishonor on the horizon, we have another big title match to announce. After BJ Whitmer defeated Adam Page last week for the ROH World Television title, Truth Martini has tasked Donovan Dijak to get the belt back for the House of Truth. Is BJ up for the much larger challenge of Dijak? Letâs go to my colleague Veda Scott for Whitmerâs thoughts.â âBJ, youâre facing Donovan Dijak at Death Before Dishonor. How do you feel about defending your title so soon after winning it.â âThatâs the job of a champion, Veda. To take on all comers when called upon. And Donovan Dijak, championship gold has been a long time coming for BJ Whitmer. And if you think Iâm going to lose to you so closely on the heels of one of biggest victories of my career - you donât know what kind of man BJ Whitmer is.â Stokely Hathaway and Veda Scott were in the ring and introduced ROH World Champion Chris Sabin and the House of Truth. Sabin was very nonchalant getting into the ring but Truth was enthused as always and must have said something gross to Veda because she looked repulsed by it. Truth took the mic and stated that, despite some recent setbacks (glancing in Adam Pageâs direction), the H.O.T. was a strong as ever. He went on to criticize ROH and matchmaker Nigel McGuinness for the inability to name a quality contender for Sabin for Death Before Dishonor. He didnât get to say much more before Michael Elginâs music played and the place blew up. Big Mike came through the curtain and slowly walked down to the ring, focused on Sabin and his cohorts. Wary of Page and Donovan Dijak, Elgin got a mic from the timekeeperâs table. âYou know, itâs funny. I was actually just talking to Nigel backstage and he told me that if I made a good showing out her tonight in a non-title match, he would consider me for the main event at Death Before Dishonor for the ROH World Championship.ââWhoa, whoa, whoa!â Sabinâs eyes went wide as he looked to Truth to put a stop to this. Truth was waving his hands ânoâ in front of him, about to panic. âItâs time you had a real challenge, Sabin. Being world champion means you fight the best. And no one can say Iâm not one of the best.â Mike got into the ring and a referee showed up to assert order and make Sabin comply. Truth unsuccessfully tried to show calm as he told Chris everything would be all right. Dijak and Page positioned themselves around the ring but Elgin didnât look concerned. Nevertheless, Nigel McGuinness came out and pointed at them, commanding: âYou two, out of here!âElgin grinned across the ring at Sabin who nervously awaited the bell. Chris Sabin w/Truth Martini def. Michael Elgin by DQ With survival instincts on overload, Sabin used his agility to get off to an impressive start. A Cradle Shock for two. Hail Sabin for two. The crowd was stunned. Sabin sent Elgin into the ropes and tried a backdrop but Mike reversed with a piledriver. An Elgin Bomb followed but Sabin got a shoulder up at two. Martini was fanning himself at ringside with the Book of Truth. Elgin dumped Sabin to the floor and came out after him. Truth tried to sneak up behind him to clobber him with the Book of Truth. Elgin caught the blow, taking the Book and Truth started begging off. Sabin saw this as an opening to strike but Big Mike saw it coming and turned and blasted him with the Book. Big mistake. The referee disqualified Elgin. Mike and the arena full of fans voiced protest as Sabin and Truth vacated the premises.
